Liked 3 of the 4 items that we purchased. Veggie Quiche, Lemon bars, and mixed berry scone were okay. Although, the only berry we found was blackberry. The sausage cheddar scone had a very dry and sandy texture which is surprising, especially since everything is gluten-free. I would think that they would have gotten the texture better.

The atmosphere was awesome, the food and coffee were delicious and I will definitely be coming back! I’m very sensitive to gluten and didn’t have any reaction to their gluten free crepes with sausage and egg. It was also very tasty and filling!

As someone with severe reactions to gluten and soy, the staff were fantastic about answering questions about ingredients and ensured no cross contamination. Everything we ordered was amazing and our waitress Abbigail was fantastic!

I ordered a burger and a Reuben to go. I put in the notes. Ruben is to have gluten-free bun. I double checked before the order was placed. My daughter went in to pick it up and the bun was not gluten-free. She politely asked for that to get changed out, the very large lady with pink hair was extremely rude and cleared at her the whole time. It would’ve been way easier for her to just change out the bun and say have a great evening but instead she went Out of her way to make my daughter feel bad. This is unacceptable. We have been to Aubrey’s many times and I’ve always had amazing service. So this review is only reflection of one employee in particular as a whole. Aubrey’s has always been great.

Finally got to go for a late lunch. I was not disappointed. I received a gluten feee menu at the front. My server was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free options and when I asked a question he wasn’t 100% sure of, he asked the kitchen staff. I had the steak burger on a gluten free bun (which was delicious) with cheddar mashed potatoes and a gluten free brownie with a kahlua chocolate sauce. It was delicious. The staff was great, the atmosphere was laid back and easy and the food was extremely good. A new safe go to place for me!

First time eating here… I absolutely loved it!! Super chill sitting outside and watching the slow motion of passersby’s. The food was very simple but healthy and well plated. It’s by far the best tomato soup I have ever had. The lamb sandwich was easy to eat and filling. It needed a little salt but so what. Ethan was the “hostess with the mostest”. Sorry.. he is male, but I like that saying. He gave us the information on their honey supplier and the fly fans they had on the table, which I quickly ordered. My last note is you HAVE to get the chocolate peanut butter gluten free cookie. Omg…. I’m a sugar addict. These are so GD good! Omg… I went for another, and they were sold out!! Go for the agave mocktail too!!

We were on a little birthday excursion when hunger hit hard. We stumbled upon this place by accident and I am SO GLAD we did!! I have a gluten allergy so the fact that they have a separate menu and gf v and vg markers is a huge bonus! The food was fantastic and service was excellent! I got the chicken bacon ranch on a gluten free bun and we split the Brussel sprouts.. fantastic, highly recommend!! My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and loved it! Not so hot that he was uncomfortable but great heat and flavor!

Having Celiac disease and going out to eat is not always an easy task. I enjoyed a burger and brew or drink, as advertised on Monday's. Cheddar burger with all of the dressing. I had the baked potato as my side item. Sweet tea with a lemon to drink. I really enjoyed my burger. It was hot and fresh.

SO YUMMY!! I love that you can get traditional breakfast or something fun and different. Grits are AMAZING! Savannah was our server and she was so kind. I am gluten free/dairy free so she showed me what options I could have. I ended up having Jakes Favorite Scramble, swapped the hashbrowns for grits and removed the cheese on top. Gluten free toast with butter and jelly. SO GOOD! My husband and I will be back :)

Breakfast was great. Service was stellar - thank you Jenn! We had the SoCal Hash. One of us is gluten free so subsituted GF toast for corn tortillas as the server said the corn tortillas had wheat in them. Food was very fresh and tasty. (Note- If someone is on a low-salt diet, this particular dish might not be the best option.) Would definitely return.

We frequently go here for lunch. The service is always top notch. I love that they have a gluten free menu and do what they can to make modifications of other dishes to fit allergens. The crab dip is spectacular and the ahi tuna stack has quickly become my go to.

This is quite literally the worst business establishment I have ever had to interact with. I feel horrible for the workers that are working off the clock because they are either short staffed or have people that don’t want to work. I unfortunately get the pleasure of coming here for my partner because they like the gluten-free pancakes. While I have begged and pleaded they find somewhere else, I still find myself with the miserable task of having to deal with this place. I sincerely hope this place gets closed down. Thank you to the wonderful person that was working off the clock to get people seated. How incredibly ridiculous it is that this place still exists.

Always love their Salmon but they have a gluten free menu and a few times now when getting the salmon off the gluten free menu, I have had bad belly issues. So if you are gluten free make sure they prepare away from the gluten

I tried Ruby Sunshine because of their mimosa flights, but stayed for the enticing food! I enjoyed a peach Bellini and my partner had the egg Benedict’s. I have some dietary restrictions, and our server Gretchen was knowledgeable and provided an alternative menu that included gluten free and vegetarian options. The entire staff worked as a team and made us feel welcome. 10/10 would recommend!

When I think of hotel restaurants, I usually think of a good atmosphere with subpar drinks. This is not your typical hotel restaurant. The food was amazing. The burger (even gluten free with no bun) was amazing and the fried chicken was crafted by someone who seriously loves food. On top of that, the drinks far surpassed the cocktail menu at any restaurant in town I’ve been to. Don’t hesitate. Good food, good drinks. Even had live music.

First time visit. My wife has been intrigued for some time, but we’ve never taken the opportunity to dine at Firebirds. Thankfully, we were not disappointed! I’m not a foody food critic so I won’t pretend to be, however, we were both extremely delighted with our meals. We both ordered from the Three-Course Dinner portion of the menu. She had the mixed salad, Grilled Salmon & Shrimp (requested Gluten Free) and Ice cream for her desert. I chose the Caesar Salad (wonderful), Grilled Sirloin (medium), and Seasonal Bread Pudding (comes out hot with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce on the side). She had water and I drank Sweet Tea (very good southern sweet tea). Absolutely nothing to complain about the food, service or facility. We enjoyed everything about our visit! If we were to be extremely “picky”, neither of us felt like the music playing over the speakers fit the atmosphere. It was a bit distracting. But that’s it! Everything else hit the mark. Normally we to not spend this much on a meal in Knoxville, but for special occasions, this will be our pick for sure! Thanks Firebirds for a great meal and first impression!

We came in around 630PM. The waitress was prompt with orders and very nice. Last time we were here about a year ago we had a an extremely long wait time. This time was perfect! And the food was quite good. I am allergic to gluten so I don't eat out often, even cross contamination will give me severe headaches. But I haven't had pancakes in years so I decided to try their gluten free option. They were so fluffy I had to check with the waitress she had brought the correct ones. They were very good, and no headaches! I am very happy with our dining experience.

If you’re looking for the best tacos in downtown Knoxville, you have to come here. Compared to Chivo and soccer taco, this is the best. We really love the fish tacos, dip trio and the Cuban. Portion sizes are really good. Our vegetarian friends love the black bean burger. I even have gluten-free friends that can enjoy a meal here. Their margaritas are the best downtown. I highly recommend the blood orange margarita. The atmosphere is quirky and fun, which matches their neon sign, paying homage to the name. It’s always lively, and there are some days you can catch live music. Prices are fair and good for what you’re getting. Portion size is filling. Since they’ve come under new ownership a few years ago, it has greatly improved. Previously, I would not go here. But now it’s become one of my favorites. I have even brought out of town clients here for dinner who have enjoyed it. It is a laid-back atmosphere. The service has always been excellent, and the staff has always been attentive. You can tell that people enjoy it there. I do recommend getting a reservation here if you are looking for outdoor seating or having a large party 6+, especially during their busy time at dinner. The patio feels quickly in the warmer months, so if you want that space get a reservation. Their back door leads to Marble Alley’s upstairs bar, which is a great place to go after you’ve had your fill for games, or to enjoy the bowling alley.

Hello Tea House is the best boba I’ve had in Tennessee! I’ve been a loyal customer for almost three years. The lady is always so friendly and personable! I bring my own low glycemic sweetener to add to a milk tea, and she is so kind to let me mix it in before she puts the sealed top on 🥰 Such great customer service! I highly recommend the bubble milk tea with 30% sweet, which is the perfect level of sweetness for me🧋I also tried the gluten free roast chicken crepe with spicy mayo today, which was really tasty.

I went to this restaurant on the 6/28, a Saturday. I was very careful to explain to the server, Mattie, that I have Celiac Disease and cannot digest rice. She wrote all these details on the order form. When my food came, the fajitas looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. I took a tortilla, filled it up and took a bite. I realized it was not a corn tortilla, which i specifically and clearly requested. Mattie checked and confirmed it was a flour tortilla. They removed the cost of the meal from my bill, so I paid for my granddaughter’s food and our drinks. The manager and Mattie apologized. So, here I am on Monday, 6/30 still in bed and very very sick. One bite of a flour tortilla gave me food poisoning. It is not worth the price of a free meal. I have not had food poisoning in 4 years, also at a restaurant, PF Changs. I request that all staff responsible for serving meals should have some kind of checking system to ensure a customer’s needs are seen to. Those customers with food issues should double and triple check with the server since nobody can be trusted.

Every once in awhile I have to make a review about a restaurant that's completely surprised me. I just now left the Oliver Royale after trying to eat there for brunch. To my surprise they had not a single gluten-free option on their menu. I can't believe that a restaurant in 2025 claiming to be a high quality top restaurant doesn't serve or offer a gluten-free options. It's 2025. Clearly the word has not gotten to this establishment yet that a giant chunk of the population struggles to eat wheat products. It's not just a growing trend or a fad. It's a truth. And to ignore this as a business is almost like suicide. When we walked in the place was completely empty and now I know why. Right after leaving we walked across the way to Cafe 4 which isn't my favorite restaurant in this area, but I know they have gluten-free options. The place is a little busy but they were able to accommodate us. Lots of good options and all the people there. Busy with tables full seem to be enjoying themselves with their gluten-free options as well. I posted the nice sign at the front door that they offer people who are gluten free advertising that they are friendly to people who have digestive issues. There's a reason they're doing this and that's because they want to have business and be successful. This is a really tough market for restaurants and if you're going to survive, you have to learn to cater to the people you serve. Those people include probably 25 to 30% gluten free. I actually feel sorry for this restaurant because I know what's coming. Just like all of the other restaurants that failed to comply with the current trends of food they will close. I'm not sure when or how long it will take but the jig is up and no one really wants this kind of food anymore. It's filled with calories and chemicals that aren't good for digestion. Best of luck to this place and their future endeavors.

Their menu listed items as gluten free, however they informed us as we ordered that the "gluten free street tacos" have corn that is not gluten free. We asked if the corn could be left off, they said they did not like to modify any of their menu items. The corn was not removable. We then ordered chips and dip, asked if they were gluten free and our server said yes and left to put our order in. We looked at the menu again and saw corn listed, so we asked again. They informed us that the chip corn was gluten free even if the taco corn was not. Then after the rest of our table received their food, they then told us the chips and dip was *not* gluten free cause the dip roux has flour in it. So two of the menu items that were listed gluten free, were absolutely not gluten free. Upon hearing that, we decided to play it safe and not eat the fries anymore after they had assured me those were gluten free. Just couldn't trust the level of gluten free anymore. The owner came over and while they were very nice, they explained that some kitchen staff are not as educated much about allergies yet, and that they were in a "transition" stage where some gluten free items still contain gluten and flour. If this is the case, then the menu needs to accurately represent this. The menu should *not* say gluten free until the transition period is over and the foods do not have gluten. I understand cross contamination possibilities, and I understand shared kitchens can cause contamination. However food containing gluten in the regular recipe should not be labeled gluten free at all.
