My family and I just move to Tennessee from Florida and it was hard for us to find a 100 percent dedicated gluten free bakery until we found this gem. The bakes good were amazing and my wife had a tuna salad panini she devoured in seconds lol, the atmosphere was great and customer service amazing.

Great service, good food, excellent dietary care. They have many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian alterations they can make to your meal. We enjoyed our meal outside and it was so nice under the sun shade. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a must if you are near by.

I have been twice now and both times I have enjoyed the Ring of Fire on a gluten free bun. I think the bun was even better this last time, don't know if they changed bakeries but I could have eaten the bun by itself! I love the spice of the this burger and it's not too much going on that you can't taste all the elements.

I ordered a burger and a Reuben to go. I put in the notes. Ruben is to have gluten-free bun. I double checked before the order was placed. My daughter went in to pick it up and the bun was not gluten-free. She politely asked for that to get changed out, the very large lady with pink hair was extremely rude and cleared at her the whole time. It would’ve been way easier for her to just change out the bun and say have a great evening but instead she went Out of her way to make my daughter feel bad. This is unacceptable. We have been to Aubrey’s many times and I’ve always had amazing service. So this review is only reflection of one employee in particular as a whole. Aubrey’s has always been great.

Great vibe, and better food! Kitchen staff was knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity and came out to correct our order out of extra caution to avoid a food that had gluten in it!

Beautiful restaurant, and decent service. My companions enjoyed their meals, but we chose this restaurant because it offered gluten free options that I require. My gluten free entree was disappointing; in fact, I ate only one bite. It was just not edible in my opinion. The gluten free pasta used was extremely sub par. My advice would be to look into another source for this item. Normally a server would notice when a patron does not eat a meal, but our server whisked away my basically untouched plate without inquiring. I left the restaurant hungry and $40 to the less.
Gluten free pizza was delicious! Even my friends who can eat gluten liked it. My husband loved the beer selection. They do have some gluten free options for drinks as well.

Y’all. Best bagels in town, hands down. Try the Farmhouse frittata sandwich or the lox bagel. It’s a little pricey but worth the money, imo. I’m excited to try just about everything in the menu. Allergy friendly, they have substitutes for gluten and dairy sensitive folks. Give it a try!

Having Celiac disease and going out to eat is not always an easy task.
I enjoyed a burger and brew or drink, as advertised on Monday's.
Cheddar burger with all of the dressing. I had the baked potato as my side item. Sweet tea with a lemon to drink.
I really enjoyed my burger. It was hot and fresh.

I have Celiac disease so I always order from the Gluten Free menu. I also inform my server, as well.
I've come to Bonefish Grill at this location often.
This time I ordered the Mahi Mahi and shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I got very sick. In the bathroom all night and the next day.
I guess I won't be returning to this restaurant. Very disappointed.

First time visit. My wife has been intrigued for some time, but we’ve never taken the opportunity to dine at Firebirds. Thankfully, we were not disappointed!
I’m not a foody food critic so I won’t pretend to be, however, we were both extremely delighted with our meals. We both ordered from the Three-Course Dinner portion of the menu. She had the mixed salad, Grilled Salmon & Shrimp (requested Gluten Free) and Ice cream for her desert. I chose the Caesar Salad (wonderful), Grilled Sirloin (medium), and Seasonal Bread Pudding (comes out hot with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce on the side). She had water and I drank Sweet Tea (very good southern sweet tea).
Absolutely nothing to complain about the food, service or facility. We enjoyed everything about our visit! If we were to be extremely “picky”, neither of us felt like the music playing over the speakers fit the atmosphere. It was a bit distracting. But that’s it! Everything else hit the mark.
Normally we to not spend this much on a meal in Knoxville, but for special occasions, this will be our pick for sure!
Thanks Firebirds for a great meal and first impression!

SO YUMMY!! I love that you can get traditional breakfast or something fun and different. Grits are AMAZING! Savannah was our server and she was so kind. I am gluten free/dairy free so she showed me what options I could have. I ended up having Jakes Favorite Scramble, swapped the hashbrowns for grits and removed the cheese on top. Gluten free toast with butter and jelly. SO GOOD! My husband and I will be back :)

Walked in with my little one to eat and had to wait to be seated as no one was up front, the employees were gathered around the post chatting and laughing it up. When someone finally decided to break away and find us a table they found out at that exact moment that they were out of silverware. Finally got seated and ready to order to be told they were out of biscuits. Place both orders and then they come back after a time to say they are out of the gluten free almond cakes and that they could give me regular ones instead, which defeats the entire purpose of being allergic to gluten. Overall terrible experience.
With an inviting atmosphere and a standout gluten-free menu, this spot is a must-visit for a delightful dining experience!

Same order as my FIRST TIME experience. Bad first. Then good....
-The bad👎-
1️⃣ The 2 coffee cups on my table were still dirty. One still had lip stick on it🤢. The waitress grabs the other table coffee cups and they were dirty too. I finally just wiped one coffee cup out with my hands and poured coffee in it. Because I felt bad for the young waitress watching me find these things in absolute horror 😂. I could see shortly after they huddled around all the coffee cups and wiped them down. 😑... Should of been wiped down and re-washed..... The white plate that was decorativly brown speckled kind of threw me off since my coffee cups were dirty.🤢. I pushed through it though.
2️⃣Price was a bit steep for me but we did pick gluten-free items and they tend to be slightly more expensive. I don't like to eat out much (something about never knowing if your dishes will be clean when you eat out 🫣) so I don't have a solid variety of places to compare to.... but yes I could of ate cheaper somewhere else for sure so price seemed a bit steep to me. Kids plate especially
-The good👍-
1️⃣Food was delicious! I'm a French toast snob and it was delicious... (eating off that brown speculated plates was a struggle 😅)
2️⃣Loved having my own insulated coffee pitcher on the table. Ready to pour.
3️⃣Overall the place appeared clean (except them coffee cups)
4️⃣Gluten-free options! Love the inclusive cooking options for people struggling with their health.

A friend and I met for lunch today at 71 South, a restaurant located in a former chapel. The dining area is open and charming with lights and greenery hanging from the ceiling, creating a warm and pleasant environment. There was a cool bar in what used to be the alter area but we were seated by one of the large windows along the side, giving us plenty of room and a place to enjoy the sunlight.
We split Brussels fried sprouts topped with bacon, goat cheese and a balsamic dressing—yum! Although there were many good entrees to choose from, the buffalo (chicken) salad I chose was delicious. Wanting something gluten free, my friend opted for the chicken chili, which also proved to be tasty and good. Portions were generous.
The service was quick and excellent — the server anticipated our needs and replenished our iced tea without waiting to be asked — a small thing but very much noticed appreciated. Highly recommend if you want good food, lots of choices, friendly, open and un-rushed service. We’ll be back soon!

I cannot say enough great things about First Watch in Fountain City! I’ll start will the fact that they have amazingly friendly and attentive staff here, they are always so accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable on the menu etc!

We came in around 630PM. The waitress was prompt with orders and very nice. Last time we were here about a year ago we had a an extremely long wait time. This time was perfect! And the food was quite good. I am allergic to gluten so I don't eat out often, even cross contamination will give me severe headaches. But I haven't had pancakes in years so I decided to try their gluten free option. They were so fluffy I had to check with the waitress she had brought the correct ones. They were very good, and no headaches! I am very happy with our dining experience.
This was an incredibly disappointing dining experience I was visiting my family from out of town and wanted to treat them to donner. We waited over an hour for our food and when we got it it was all dried out obviously it had been sitting under the heat lamps far too long. Everything was ruined the steak was completely dried out and well done from ordering medium rare the salmon was so dry it was unedible the pork sandwich was more like beef jerky. BUT WORST OF ALL they tried passing off a gluten free hamburger with a regular bun to my daughter who has severe celiac . They said they ran out of gf buns. Then they brought a dried out hamburger with no bun and forgot the cheese in a to go box after everyone was leaving to late for her to eat. TERRIBLE!!

A very chill and fun atmosphere with a unique feel. Great outdoor space with live music/comedy often being inside. We sat outside and loved the ambiance. We did have to flag down a waiter to be waited and to get silverware after our food was delivered, but honestly they were busy and still super friendly. The food, that is what I will be coming back for! Gluten free options with great labels for allergies for all! Everything ordered was superb! Highly recommend this place!

Food is decent and consistent between visits but it's nothing too exciting. It's good, don't get me wrong but I haven't found anything yet that makes me want to put it in my go to list.
Service has been good.
One thing they do really well is provide gluten free, dairy free for friends of ours. It's worth a look overall.

If you’re looking for the best tacos in downtown Knoxville, you have to come here. Compared to Chivo and soccer taco, this is the best.
We really love the fish tacos, dip trio and the Cuban. Portion sizes are really good. Our vegetarian friends love the black bean burger. I even have gluten-free friends that can enjoy a meal here.
Their margaritas are the best downtown. I highly recommend the blood orange margarita. The atmosphere is quirky and fun, which matches their neon sign, paying homage to the name. It’s always lively, and there are some days you can catch live music. Prices are fair and good for what you’re getting. Portion size is filling.
Since they’ve come under new ownership a few years ago, it has greatly improved. Previously, I would not go here. But now it’s become one of my favorites. I have even brought out of town clients here for dinner who have enjoyed it. It is a laid-back atmosphere.
The service has always been excellent, and the staff has always been attentive. You can tell that people enjoy it there. I do recommend getting a reservation here if you are looking for outdoor seating or having a large party 6+, especially during their busy time at dinner. The patio feels quickly in the warmer months, so if you want that space get a reservation.
Their back door leads to Marble Alley’s upstairs bar, which is a great place to go after you’ve had your fill for games, or to enjoy the bowling alley.
The food wasn’t very good, but the jazz on Monday night was nice. Get here maybe just 5-10 mins early for the jazz. The band doesn’t arrive until right before they start. The kale artichoke dip was tasty, and the accommodated my gluten allergy by cutting up some veggies for it. The salmon and lentils weren’t great. The desserts were terrible — skip them.

When I think of hotel restaurants, I usually think of a good atmosphere with subpar drinks. This is not your typical hotel restaurant. The food was amazing. The burger (even gluten free with no bun) was amazing and the fried chicken was crafted by someone who seriously loves food. On top of that, the drinks far surpassed the cocktail menu at any restaurant in town I’ve been to. Don’t hesitate. Good food, good drinks. Even had live music.

Every once in awhile I have to make a review about a restaurant that's completely surprised me. I just now left the Oliver Royale after trying to eat there for brunch. To my surprise they had not a single gluten-free option on their menu. I can't believe that a restaurant in 2025 claiming to be a high quality top restaurant doesn't serve or offer a gluten-free options. It's 2025. Clearly the word has not gotten to this establishment yet that a giant chunk of the population struggles to eat wheat products. It's not just a growing trend or a fad. It's a truth. And to ignore this as a business is almost like suicide. When we walked in the place was completely empty and now I know why. Right after leaving we walked across the way to Cafe 4 which isn't my favorite restaurant in this area, but I know they have gluten-free options. The place is a little busy but they were able to accommodate us. Lots of good options and all the people there. Busy with tables full seem to be enjoying themselves with their gluten-free options as well.
I posted the nice sign at the front door that they offer people who are gluten free advertising that they are friendly to people who have digestive issues. There's a reason they're doing this and that's because they want to have business and be successful. This is a really tough market for restaurants and if you're going to survive, you have to learn to cater to the people you serve. Those people include probably 25 to 30% gluten free.
I actually feel sorry for this restaurant because I know what's coming. Just like all of the other restaurants that failed to comply with the current trends of food they will close. I'm not sure when or how long it will take but the jig is up and no one really wants this kind of food anymore. It's filled with calories and chemicals that aren't good for digestion.
Best of luck to this place and their future endeavors.

This is a good little restaurant that just popped up in Knoxville. It's in a great spot downtown where restaurants and industry have been growing. I liked the side items at this place and the service was fantastic! Our server, Addie, was a pure delight and so helpful. Addie was kind and made our whole experience terrific! The food was good and the menu was extensive with lots of offerings. The gluten-free stuff was hardly evident and I could barely find things to make work for my digestion. However, I was able to eat a fish and potatoes kind of meal so it suited me fine. I had to do the work though because there weren't a lot of obvious gluten-free selections. You'll definitely want to check out the ingredients to make sure that you're not eating a bunch of FODMAPs and other foods that upset the tummy. This restaurant still needs to learn about the 20% or so of people who have digestion issues. As time goes on and as our reviews start piling up, they are going to learn the hard way about feeding everyone inclusively. Some restaurants forget about people who struggle with stomach issues. For a restaurant to be successful in Knoxville consideration to those guests with issues is a must. Still, restaurants have to go through this maturity phase and figure it out for themselves. As for me, a foodie critic, I tend to give input for restaurants to learn this, but It's up to them to make the adjustments. People with digestive issues like myself have to look out for ourselves regardless of what the restaurants offer. This has tanked many great restaurants in the past because of how competitive the restaurant market is here in Knoxville.
It's a little busy there because they're on they're honeymoon still, but if you make a reservation it's not a problem. The busyness of this place was my only issue, but as for everything else I will definitely recommend it and will go back. I hope that my next visit is as delightful and I definitely want to ask for Addie because she was wonderful! Cheers!

such a cute and cozy place. food is amazing (especially the blueberry cinnamon brioche) and their menu has vegan and gluten-free options. The owner is so kind and personable, feels like you’re eating at a friend’s house!
This place is always amazing. We found Don Delfis a year ago when we were looking for a gluten free breakfast for my daughter. She is completely GF and knows her stuff on flavors (and is very picky). :) She says that these are the best GF pancakes anywhere. It's the one GF pancake that she says does not taste like it came from a box.
All the skillets are outstanding. I normally get the Chorizo skillet. I love Chorizo and cook with it a lot and this is as good as it gets. The skillets are huge meals with eggs, potato and the meats.
On a recent trip here, I brought clients, and the chef just walked over and sat with us and talked for about five or six minutes (it was early - we were the first customers). Really nice touch.
Now, most of our friends come here. It is such a hidden gem. You will be glad you stopped in. If you are an early riser, for some reason, very few people are there before 8am. You will have the restaurant almost to yourselves. Come and enjoy!
Went here for my birthday. Food was absolutely delicious!! "Authentic" Italian food. Can order separate or in family courses just like they did when I was in Naples, Italy. Accommodated my wife's celiac needs like it was nothing, she had plenty of choices. Would highly recomend.

Pretty good place to have crepes.
My daughter has already been there for the bobba tea and wanted me to try it. We got the Oreo flavor one. I think this type of drink is great for young people or someone that is able to drink something this sweet and full of tapioca pearls every time you sip.
I ordered the gluten free roast beef crepe with ginger sauce. My daughter ordered the regular crepe with chicken, I cannot recall which sauce on theirs.
They use spring mix salad with some shredded carrots as the base with your choice of meat.
The gluten free crepe dough was really good compared to the regular. I have a preference to have my crepes salty, but this one was still tasteful. With the ginger sauce I was hoping to taste the ginger, but I could not.
The place was clean and pretty.
Overall, a good experience.
