Cute gluten-free cafe and bakery known for their donuts and brunch menu. Food is pricier than a typical bake shop but the quality more than makes up for it. A must-try even if you aren't on a gluten-free diet.

This is the best gluten free brunch I’ve had! Since going gluten free I haven’t wanted to just eat bread but I could eat a whole loaf of Nodo’s bread. The service was great too and the vibe is great and there’s a good view of some of south bank too!

A lovely spot with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is simple, clear, and easy to navigate, especially when it comes to ingredients and dietary options. The hot chocolate was spot on—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I ordered the baked eggs, which were decent, though I would’ve preferred the yolks a little softer and runny to enhance the flavour of the dish. Also, a second piece of gluten-free bread would’ve been appreciated, as one small slice felt a bit limiting alongside the meal. What really stood out was the warm, community vibe. Locals were chatting with each other, giving the place a friendly, relaxed feel that made the experience all the more enjoyable.

We loved it. A perfect spot pre show to enjoy the city sights and wander up queen street and over the river to the Lyric. Gluten free & vegetarian options were fabulous & menu isn’t overwhelming! Great for share plates. Will be back!

First time coming here, and let me just say what a great experience to walk in and have great food without the risk of being cross contaminated being Celiac is always my worry of getting glutened.

Absolutely delicious! Went to Officeworks & saw this next door by accident. The mutton curried pie was 100% authentic and delicious. MANY gluten free options for coeliacs too. YES! I would return to eat here again.

It's been forever since I received a small (very generous) bowl of crispy sweet potato fries. There's an incredible range of burgers to cover every conceivable desire and if they don't have it you can make your own. The gluten free menu is amazing. The presence of a vegan lentil patty excellent, and it tasted good too. The vibe was great, even at a midweek lunch, the service friendly and fantastic. Craft beers were great. Really theres not a lot of negatives. Maybe a bit more seasoning in the burger patty and on the fries but it was nearly there. I'd go back and work out just what was going to be my new favourite burger, and have more of those crispy crunchy sweet potato fries.

It was a pleasure dining here! Fantastic lunch spot, we will definitely be back. The food is gluten free, dairy free, no added sugar etc. but you wouldn't know it, my "big breakfast" style meal was great! The eggs were poached perfectly, the gluten free toast was nice and the chimichurri sauce on the side was lovely! Their in house smoothies are delicious, they had a fantastic lemon and grapefruit smoothie which I highly recommend (it's refreshing to see a not so sweet smoothie option)! Coffee is also really nice and we'll brewed, I'm a black coffee no sugar person and it's hard to find coffee out that isn't too bitter drunk just black when most people have milk and or sugar. The staff are also amazing, the gentleman that served us at the counter and made our coffees was personable, fun, and very accommodating of slight menu changes to accommodate some of our party.

I love that we found this place! Reason... I'm a Coeliac and there is a gluten free dedicated menu! ☺️ I've only tried a few things so far. Love that I can eat the GF chips, which are well-cooked and crunchy. It's almost like they have a covering of something tasty. The grilled fish was good, I enjoyed the GF chicken schnitzel. The GF sea scallops are my favourite so far. They're a decent size! I'll keep working my way through their menu... They also cater for non-GF, with crumbed fish, which was good according to my other half.

Peter and I are regulars for casual drinks and dining. We love the cosy and friendly atmosphere in the Tapestry bar and restaurant, plus the great choice of delicious gluten free menu. Service is great each time. We would like to make special mention of Katie’s lovely service in the Tapestry bar followed up by Latai’ exceptional service in the restaurant. We dropped into this cafe for lunch today, and it was great! We were drawn in by the sign which said that they have a separate gluten free fryer. The owners were both super nice and helpful, said they can make almost everything gluten free and Coeliac safe (incl a separate storage and prep area!). We had the eggs benedict and the Sea Beast fisherman's basket with GF crumbs, and a mini pizza and chips for our little one, and were surprised with some freshly made GF banana bread. All tasted great and was very reasonably priced. We will be back for sure 😊 Thank you!

Unfortunately, my experience at Betty’s Burgers in Toowoomba was deeply disappointing and frustrating, particularly as a long-time vegan who is careful about dietary choices. When placing our order, we requested the vegan puff rice patty on a vegan roll. We also asked whether vegan cheese and vegan mayo were available, but the staff member assisting us confidently stated that they were not. We clarified our vegan preferences multiple times during the ordering process. Eventually, we opted for the patty with just tomato sauce due to the lack of vegan condiments. When the burger arrived, I ate half of it, assuming it was the vegan puff rice patty. I even remarked on how impressive it was, thinking it must be a particularly realistic plant-based option. However, my friend, who had dined at Betty’s before, questioned it. Upon confirming with the kitchen staff, I discovered to my horror that I had been served a classic beef patty instead of the vegan option I had ordered. As someone who has been vegan for 30 years, this was incredibly distressing. I immediately brought it to the attention of the front counter staff, only to be met with an explanation that they thought I “just wanted the gluten-free vegan roll,” completely ignoring my explicit request for a vegan patty and condiments. This demonstrates a clear lack of understanding of dietary requirements and an inability to properly process or double-check orders. What makes this worse is that other establishments, typically review the order with the customer to ensure everything is correct. Betty’s Burgers failed at every step, from taking the order to serving the correct item. I cannot recommend Betty’s Burgers to anyone with specific dietary preferences or allergies. This experience highlights a lack of care, competence, and accountability, which could have serious implications for those with dietary restrictions or food intolerances.

Decided to have dinner and breakfast here because of the recommendation for coeliacs and wasn't disappointed. Had dinner and the the gf parma and came back in the morning and got the eggs benedict. Apparently the owner is coeliac and their knowledge on coeliac and cross contamination was great and anything they weren't sure on, they were happy to check. Food was delicious and got a iced late to go which came in a custom can which I thought was very cool.

With 2 coeliacs in the family we were worried about not having somewhere safe to eat but this place definitely did not disappoint! They took such extra care, we watched them changing gloves in between, put ours on a separate coloured plate, and were so thorough. It created a wonderful memory and experience with the diner-style atmosphere. Kids have it 10/10 - we gave it 11/10, absolutely EXCELLENT and if you haven't been here PUT IT ON YOUR LIST!!

Great GF and DF burger. I’ve eaten twice here and haven’t had an issue! Staff seem to be aware with what to do when they come across coeliac, and mine have verbally spoken to the kitchen staff both times.
