Very expensive price unjustifiable with the quality of the dishes. Very basic Greek salad, with lettuce leaves without even cutting them and almost without dressing €14.5. The most expensive French toast I've seen in Porto with slices of sirloin that were too thick and tough. The bland cod cakes. The Caldo verde was worth €9 when we ate it elsewhere for €2.5. In short, a place to avoid since they use the excuse of gluten-free to scare tourists and on top of that there is no air conditioning.

I emailed them about my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back " We have pizza gluten free for example we can use vegan cheese if you can have mozzarella … then also hamburger gluten free pasta … so come and please tell at the waiter all the allergies you have and we will take care of you 😉"

Great vegetarian and vegan restaurant with plenty of gluten-free options. Cozy decor, delicious food, and super friendly staff! It's a bit more expensive than many Azorean restaurants, but sooo delicious! You should reserve a table in advance, as it's quite small.

We have been going on holiday to the Algarve with our family for a few years now and we never miss Bailote. We have tried quite a few things on the menu – meat, fish, tapas, pasta and pizza – and we are always very satisfied. I eat gluten-free myself, and this is one of the few places in the area where I have so much choice. Pizzas, bread, burgers, salads: it is not only on the menu, it is also incredibly good! The warm atmosphere and the great service make it complete. Definitely recommended!

I emailed them to find out in advance if they could accommodate my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back " Dear Paulina,  Thank you for reaching out.  We would very much like to have you, and there are a few options on our menu that might be suitable, but we are afraid that our production environment may not be 100% safe for your requirements, as we have only one area where everything is prepared. Thus, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination. We don't have a certified gluten-free kitchen, and even with the attention and rigor we put in our operation, we fear that the risk may be unacceptable for you."

Nice place with several articles about celebrities and a very tasty burger. I was also very happy with the availability of the gluten-free menu, as my daughter has celiac disease and we have great difficulty finding meals suitable for her.

Busy restaurant, we asked about gluten-free options the first night and were shown 3 things on the menu. The second night, we were given a gf menu. Perhaps the staff didn't know about it but this seems kind of important information to know.

Delicious breaky spot in Lagos with great coffees too. They have gluten free bread so can make most things coeliac friendly! Well priced too. It is very popular so you might struggle to get a seat or may have to wait. Had an issue with our order and the staff sorted it out graciously took the meal off the bill.

I find it insulting that they charge +€2.50 for gluten-free bread. Celiac disease is not a choice. Otherwise the quality is very good.

Gluten Free Menu 👏🏻 They have a menu suitable for celiacs (without tac) Mexican food vegan food Burgers (on the plate without tacc) and have gluten-containing dishes. They treated us very kindly and showed us the menu without hesitation. I didn't see it detailed in the letter but it is on the door. We ordered meat tacos and some nachos with meat. All Rich. You can eat inside or outside.

I went for lunch on Saturday, June 29, 2024, around 3pm, at your restaurant, with friends and one of them is GLUTEN intolerant, she asked a young employee who was working at the counter, if they had gluten-free meals available, He was told yes and made the request. The burger was really well served and tasty, with egg and fries, and strawberry lemonade, the worst part was that shortly after having finished lunch she started having a lot of cramps and a bad mood that forced her to go to the bathroom several times. , during the afternoon, which almost made it impossible for her to make the trip back home. Which leads me to be sure that the dish he was served was definitely gluten-free, such was the violence of the reaction he received. It is regrettable how little care they take in these cases. She was very weak for several days.

We can take out any ingredients that you are allergic to (e.g. we can do burgers without buns or cheese, we can take off certain sauces, etc) for sure, however, it is hard to 100% guarantee that there hasn't been any potential cross-contamination in ingredients that we buy in, or during the preparation process.
