Tonight we stopped at a delightful Italian restaurant in the heart of Adelaide. We were met by Nick who was our waiter and pleasantly surprised he was shadowed by the owners young daughter - Anna Maria. All his food suggestions were amazing and service was outstanding. The antipasti board was plentiful. House made gnocchi was incredible. One of our party is gluten free and they did a great job adjusting the dishes to accommodate that allergy with both pasta and bread. Nick had great suggestions about where to go in the area for good food and wine. It was an overall delightful experience. Highly recommend and would return.
Expect to enjoy great coffee, an interesting menu, and a relaxed ambiance at this popular slow-living cafe tucked away in Adelaide.

I came for breakfast on a weekend and it exceeded my expectations! The menu had a great variety of options, including gluten-free choices. The portions were generous and the coffee was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The service and atmosphere are great, and it's a cafe I'd like to come back to again!
I ordered a chai latte and a gluten-free chocolate cookie.
It was so great👏✨
I want to come again.
loved this place! wonderful and friendly service along with delicious food! great little place in the city to try for brunch/lunch. Also the staff were very conscious about allergies (gluten free etc) which is rare to see these days!

We come here regularly for coffee and breakfast. They are always very quick and the eggs on toast are a great price.
They have separate tongs for gluten free cabinet treats for coeliac safety.
A charming family-run spot known for beautifully presented meals and attentive service that caters well to dietary needs.

Ordered 1 egg on gluten free bread no butter with bacon and Avocado. Plate was placed in front of me with thin sandwich xut in half. I asked about Avocado. There was a thin smear on I slice of toasted bread. The waitress called it "smashed". The egg and bacon were OK but bread was very hard and parts couldn't be chewed. Tried my best though. Not worth $25 with small soft drink. Not going there ever again..
Charming spot with a lovely selection of cupcakes, though options are limited; noteworthy for its timely service and cozy vibe.

Great little cafe, I only tried their cupcakes and they are amazing! I gave 4 stars and not 5 as they only had 1 type of gluten free cupcake… customer service is more than 5 stars though! Another suggestion is to please stop using plastic containers and have paper boxes instead.
A vibrant spot buzzing with activity, offering a delightful atmosphere and a variety of dietary options in a culturally rich area.

Food was nice and tasty, came quite quickly, service was on and off, but the place was extremely busy so it was completely understandable. I don’t normally eat lamb as I don’t like the taste but the lamb rack was so tasty!
They also cater for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs. Curry so nice too and excellent wine list. Only complaint was it was noisy but if you want to avoid that, go during weeknights
Good atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious, high quality food. Very clean and sanitary environment and all the plants really blur the outdoor and indoor spaces and make them vibrant. Manu has a good amount of options with Vegan, Gluten and Dairy free alternatives available.
Having said that, I felt that the menu was a little bit overpriced. I payed around 26 dollars for a chicken bowl which had a rather small serving of grilled chicken. Plus another 10% for weekend surcharge. Nothing that ruined the experience and you're really paying for quality over quantity but personally would have liked some more meals below $20 for lunch.
A paradise for dessert lovers, featuring a dazzling array of cakes, chocolates, and more, perfect for satisfying any sweet craving.

A feast for the sweet tooth, biscuits cakes, slices, choc fondue, chocolates lollies, whole cakes ,slices of cakes, great variety, of cakes, gateaux, friendly service in this fast paced, house of delights, catering for gluten intolerances also.
Had the soup special leek soup. It was delicious! Along with a cheese and tomato toastie, also delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they had and no complaints. There was an order of gluten free bread that was mistakenly brought out as normal bread but upon asking which was the gluten free the waitress apologized and swapped it for a gluten free slice so no issues there! The only gripe I have is with the outdoor seating. There is a substantial slope out the front and one of the tables is sat right on the slope and as 3 of us were having soup we couldn't use that table or we would be wearing it. Very friendly staff and delicious food and right in the central market. Would definitely eat there again.
Are you missing Japanese desserts?
A stylish shop located in Adelaide's CBD that specializes in tea desserts, including matcha. It's one of the places I visited many times during my stay. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm, and it's a space where you can enjoy yourself or with a group of people. There are options for seating, either traditional Japanese-style seating or Western-style tables. Desserts are made with plenty of tea, making them delicious even for gluten-free and vegetarian options, as well as those who don't like sweets. Also, some desserts are available for a limited time only, so don't miss your chance. No matter when you eat it, you will not only enjoy the taste and freshness of the dessert, but also the appearance, which is as good as Japanese desserts, so please give it a try.
It truly looks like edible art, and is sure to be Instagrammable. In addition to desserts, you can also enjoy Japanese tea and alcohol. There are a wide variety of choices, so if you are unsure, we recommend asking the owner or staff for advice. They will tell you about the preferences of each person and the effects of tea. Everyone working at Matcha House is really kind and always offers hospitality. Last but not least, I believe that the world is currently experiencing a difficult time due to the coronavirus. If you're feeling down, why not try one of Matcha House's desserts to soothe your soul? I have returned to Japan myself, but I would like to go there again when I stop by Adelaide.
Anyone craving for a Japanese Dessert?
Located in Adelaide CBD, a store specializing in tea desserts, offering various Japanese teas (Matcha) related products to foster health benefits. One of my favorite places that I’ve visited many times whilst my stay at Adelaide.
The ambience of the store is relatively calm, where it can be enjoyed by alone or with a med~ big party. Seats are available with traditional Japanese style or normal tables. As for the desserts, since most are made using teas, it is also loved by people who are not good at sweet. Meanwhile, there are limited-time desserts, so please do not miss the chance. Not to mention, the taste and freshness are always served in a great state, and the appearance of the products is as beautiful as the desserts found in Japan. Please pop in a have a try! It's just like eating art, and it definitely looks good on Instagram. Aside from the foods, they also offer a great range of fresh teas and unique Sake from Japan to go with. There are many kinds, so if you get lost, it is recommended that you ask the owner or employees for advice. They will kindly assist you about the tastes and benefits of the tea that suit individual's preference/ needs.
Overall, I had an amazing time on my every visit to Matcha House. People working at Matcha House provide great hospitality service as always. Arigatou Gozaimasu. Believe it is the hardest time for everyone under this COVID-19 crisis. If anyone feeling depressed or simply looking for a place to chill, why not to visit Matcha House and try out their products to be healed. If I ever have a chance to go Australia, I will definitely drop in again.
Love their muffins, they're always fresh & they have a great variety. They even have some unusual muffins, they also have a good range of gluten free muffins. Their coffees are good also. It's our favourite go to place.
Oh man! I was craving to have a gluten free cone with a complete list of Gluten free icecream options ... This place just heard me ... I had back to back two gluten free cone with 2 scoops... Who says ice cream cause cavities.
Enjoyed a morning coffee and cake, coffee was and cake was very good. Checked out the lunch menu, decided to return for lunch. We decided on the mushroom soup and smoked salmon, avocado and poached egg on rye, absolutely delicious. We found the service excellent, tables clean and tidy. The menu offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. The prices were very reasonable, will return.

I really enjoyed my experience here - it’s definitely a meeting place . The atmosphere is quite lively , and it’s situated down a small laneway right near the Central Market .
There is indoor and outdoor seating , and they also sell some condiments and specialised food items , as well as a selection of cookbooks, and some hot chocolate powder from Morks, which is a specialised well known chocolate shop in Melbourne .
Market street cafe also have their own little bakery , which means fresh in house bread .
Their coffee of choice was D’Angelo , which is a local coffee roaster , with a deep chocolaty taste. I had an iced almond latte and enjoyed this brew .
Gluten free options are not particularly wide , but I did have a Reuben sandwich with a twist , ( with kimchi and gochujang mayo ) and was pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread , which was thick and seeded - delicious.
Worth a visit, especially if you visit the Central Market.

This is the second time I have been here and is a little gem away from the hustle of the main Rundle area and extensions.
I had time to kill between appointments, so I sat myself down for a remote work and had an eggs Benedict and coffee .
OMG, that gluten-free Benny with salmon is one of the best I have had.
Just like I judge a good Dim Sum restaurant, or as we call it here in Australia "Yum Cha", based on its Sui Mai, I equivalate a cafe with its ability to produce a good Eggs Benedict.
Super friendly staff and a relaxed, cozy environment. Tables outside, which I also noticed some peope on their laptops as well getting a spot of work in.
Expect a lively vibe filled with passion, freshness, and great conversations, making every visit feel unique and welcoming.

I Dined at Cozinha for lunch.
And I was blown away!
A lot of kitchens do not understand how to respect food. To cook them in a certain way so they remain fresh for the customer, and to retain the flavour. But the Chef at Cozinha really does. This shows passion and love for the job.
The vibe/atmosphere is unique.
Plenty of smiles, friendly talks, and Brazilian banter.
This is a three dimensional business, and in my opinion will never stop progressing.
There are plenty of gluten free options and vegetarian/vegan options.
A big “Obrigado” from me!

First time visitor today, lovely greeting by the team, ordered the shared brekkie platter for two and one of us is coeliac, so as asked to have the sourdough w eggs on the side. There was some confusion there as the generous share platter arrived w GF eggs on toast on the side - but the team were so gracious in discussing the mix up and replaced the platter.
The Oj and coffee are exceptional.
The attitudes and energy of the team members who served us was exceptional.
The breakfast platter for 2 is delicious, generous and likely enough to feed 3. But we had a great breakfast taking our time to graze and enjoy more coffee as everyone cruised by on Hutt St.
I see why this place is popular and will happily return for big and small bites + sips.

Pastry lover heaven. Lots of unique pastry options, and gluten free options.
However, I still ordered my usual carrot cake and Iced soy mocha.
The vibe:
Modern and bright with a minimalism vibe. The seating was somewhat squishy inside.
#CarrotCake:
Starting with the base I knew it was gonna be dry. I was correct. Unfortunately although it had decent flavour, it was very dry.
The icing didn't have much of a traditional cream cheese flavour, but it was nice. Would have benefited with a side of cream.
3.6/5 ⭐
#Icedsoymocha
The coffee was a bold roast, however still had fruity elements in it. Quite nice and not bitter. They did ask if I wanted any ice cream, and they did do minimal ice. ✅ Bio cup as well ✅
4.4/5 ⭐
The value for money - bit on the pricey side at $16 considering there's coffee and cake deals for $12 and under nearby.
I gave it 5 stars as there is a wonderful selection of pastries and the coffee was quite good.
Overall I would give it a 4.2/5 ⭐

So quaint and authentically French (relatively speaking, we are in Australia after all). My meal was divine and catered for gluten free diet. The wine list was excellent too. Some issues with the steak (blue instead of medium), but otherwise excellent. I will be coming back very soon!

I went in yesterday trying to look for gluten free lunch. The staff were very understanding of my condition, and they even double checked whether something had gluten, didn't seem annoyed by it, and offered me a portion of mushrooms or avocado to make up for the loss of hash brown. The sandwich was HUGE, the eggs were perfect and not rubbery at all, and they had some gluten-free sweets that I definitely need to try sometime. I'll be back! Thank you staff for your kindness. :)

Quality cafe. 👌
Was lovely to be introduced to this cafe today. I ordered my usual iced soy mocha and this time got a strawberry cream donut.
The venue was modern and relaxed. They had a good blend of Asian fusion mains and sides. My friends burger and fries looked amazing!
The coffee was bold yet had fruity tones interlaced. It was very strong. It came with a dollop of icecream (they asked first as I ordered soy) I would give it a 4.6/5 ⭐
The donut was surprising and the strawberry cream inside was delightful. I'm not much of a donut fan, but I would give it a 4.5/5 ⭐
The staff were friendly, and they took the time to work out gluten free options for my friend.
Looks like a great spot to chill with a laptop. :')
It was on the pricey side, but worth it. :)
Service is very friendly, the coffee is good, food was delicious and they serviced a generous amount of avocado. They also accommodate for gluten free (bread) and dairy free. Happy customers! Thank you.
Tranquil atmosphere, owners are Muslim and Filipino. Beef bacon is halal, not sure about the chicken. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options and a few vegan options as well.

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my experience at Hello Sarnie Cafe! As someone with gluten intolerance, it can be quite a challenge to find a place that caters to my dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. But this cafe absolutely nailed it!
Their menu boasts an impressive selection of gluten-free options that are both delicious and satisfying. From mouth-watering sandwiches to delectable pastries, I couldn't believe how much variety they had to offer.
And the best part? The quality of the food was absolutely top-notch. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything despite my dietary restrictions.
If you're someone who struggles to find great food choices due to gluten intolerance, I cannot recommend Hello Sarnie Cafe enough. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
