Had lunch here today, phenomenal curry. Our waitress informed us the cafe is closing for 2 months and will only serve coffee and gluten free cake going forward. No more meals.
This stylish, cozy cafe offers plenty of seating and a unique vibe, perfect for relaxing or working while enjoying organic drinks.

I wanted to buy gluten-free bread, so I went in just after lunch on a weekday. There was a cute, friendly female staff member at the back of the counter preparing the bread? Making the dough? There didn't seem to be any customers at the cafe.
It said it was a cafe, so I was worried I'd be able to buy just the bread, but I was able to.
The shop is located a little way down the road across from MUJI, across from 246. From Takashimaya, it's just past Tsubame Grill and on the left. From Futako Tamagawa Station, it's about a 5-6 minute walk.
I don't know if it's intentional, but the feel of the shop, from the exterior and interior, to the slightly dark atmosphere and concept, is very British (those who have been to England should know...)
I didn't call out to the staff, but they stopped what they were doing and came to the register, probably because they saw me pick up a loaf of bread from the display, so I was able to pay smoothly.
Rice flour bread is sold in tiny miniature loaves, and the price varies depending on the type, but it's about 400 to 500 yen per loaf.
From what I saw, there were four kinds: plain, sweet sake, chocolate, and raisin.
In terms of size, one loaf is about the size of a hot dog bun, I think. So, one person can eat a whole loaf in no time.
The bread is rice flour bread, and the inside is chewy. The crust is crispy and very delicious.
The inside is chewy, but it doesn't have the heavy, dense feeling that rice flour bread often has, and I think it's relatively fluffy for rice flour bread.
It was my first time there, but I really liked it. I want to go again. There aren't many bakeries around here that make gluten-free bread, so I hope they keep doing their best.

This place is absolutely perfect in everything. The ambience is super relaxing and the food is super tasty. If you're allergic to gluten and want to relax and eat good food - this is the place.
Also, they give you a tarot message with each meal you buy. If you're a fan of tarot or a tarot reader, this is a very nice detail :).

Really loved this place! I’m a very sensitive coeliac but despite the small risk of cross contamination I was totally fine and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I even ordered a dessert crepe afterwards seeing as the ice cream was gf too!
Service was quick and the staff were lovely - I was informed that they had cleaned the plate they cook the crepes on but that they couldn’t guarantee it was safe - which was nice to see they understand the severity of coeliac and still try to accomodate! Safe to say it was well worth the slight risk
Enjoy a cozy vibe while indulging in flavorful burgers, great portion sizes, and a quick, hassle-free ordering experience in a busy shopping area.

I had a late brunch here with a friend. I am gluten sensitive, and she is lactose intolerant, so we thought that this place would be perfect for our sweet tooth cravings.
Unfortunately, the pancake options are just two, and, if I may say, they are also quite expensive considering the average pancake price in town. That said, I am aware that in this society, finding allergens free food options in restaurants is not only extremely hard but also a quite expensive thing.
We were, of course, interested in trying their limited/fall edition 焼き芋 pancake set and, leaving aside the fact that, as always, it looked really pretty but mostly tasted like sugar, the worst thing was actually the waiter's behaviour which was kinda rude and looked bored and annoyed most of the time. Considering the food price, he could've at least pretended to smile a little bit, right?
Don't know if we want to come back again.

I would absolutely recommend this to other people who are gluten free / celiac. As a celiac I have eaten here twice and they are very helpful when making food that is gluten free.
They have an allergy list on their menu which allows you to see all the dishes that are wheat free. Noting they do mention gluten as it is not a formal allergy in Japan. They do offer gluten free bread though! Additionally, they were able to provide meal substitutes - removing a certain sauce - to make it wheat / gluten free.
However, do not worry as I have eaten here twice - October 2024 and April 2025 - and as a symptomatic celiac I have had no reaction to it.
If you are vegetarian / vegan this may be quite hard to have a full meal here as most dishes involve meat of some sort.

I made a reservation for afternoon tea.
The interior and atmosphere of the store was very cute.
However, the attitude of the staff was so inappropriate that I couldn't believe they were in the customer service industry, which is a shame.
I was given a seat in a semi-private room in the back, but even though there were 4 or 5 staff members, they were all stuck at the counter and didn't notice that I wanted to order. I was worried because there was no reaction even though he was clearly looking at me.
When he brought me the afternoon tea set, he forced me to put it on top of the cutlery and almost knocked it over.
Almost all gluten-free sweets made with rice flour and other ingredients are not tasty and hard. It's really just a look. I thought it was something like this because it was cheap.
Are you in a bad mood because the staff at the store don't smile all the time and keep busying you? ? That's what it felt like. I wonder if there will be a second time.

Review for こめパンカフェ (Monday & Tuesday)
A really good gluten-free cafe serving rice flour baguette sandwiches. My chicken sandwich was delicious, and I really enjoyed the Satsuma potato pottage. The baguette was one of the best gluten-free baguettes I’ve ever had. It was crunchy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. Next time I will try to come earlier in the day so I can buy cinnamon rolls.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also understood wheat and gluten sensitivities very well.

This is a shop where you can eat gentle and delicious bread that does not use milk or eggs and uses simple ingredients.
○About the store
Business days are limited to Tuesdays and Sundays. However, there are opportunities to purchase it at other stores, such as those sold on consignment at Kojikumiya and Ikebukuro on Fridays. Details can be found on Instagram.
In addition to selling bread, it also functions as a coffee shop, so you can eat and drink the bread you purchase with a set of side dishes.
Unusually, there is a vending machine. The only rice flour vending machine I've ever seen is the one in Okayama.
The staff at the store (Yukiko Sekine and others) were very responsive. Since the only payment methods were cash or PayPay, I went to withdraw the money, but they kindly kept the bread for me while I was there.
○About bread
Currently, there are three types of rice flour-based products: bread, horohoro cookies, and chiffon, and the others are wheat-based. Therefore, although rice flour bread is gluten-free, contamination is possible. All the breads have simple ingredients and seem to be of good quality.
Also, most breads are labeled with information on ingredients, etc., so you can choose and purchase with confidence.
○About what I bought
#rice flour bread
It's quite elastic and chewy. Moist inside. The bottom side is hard and filling. The sweetness is gentle but not too weak, and it's delicious enough to keep eating as is. Of course, the binding is good, and none of the parts fall apart (some powder does fall off).
#Rice flour cookies
It's crumbly but easy to eat. It's so flavorful that you can eat 4 of them right away.
Personally, I wish there were more varieties of rice flour bread and more stores and opportunities to buy it.
However, the rice flour bread is so delicious that it's worth going just to buy it, so I'll continue to go here.

I think it's a useful shop as it's one of the few soup specialty shops.
However, the salty and chemical taste is quite strong and makes my tongue and throat tingle, so I dilute it with water.
When the store is empty or there are few customers, the soup will simmer down and become even more flavorful.
I would appreciate it if there were more gluten-free and vegan menus.

It's a relaxing shop where you can enjoy organic herbs, tea, and gluten-free pancakes.
○About the store
Transportation: Convenient and close to Nezu Station.
Inside: It's relatively spacious with a surprisingly large number of seats, so you can relax and relax if it's not during busy hours.
Payment methods: Credit cards, major electronic money (transportation systems, ID, etc.), paypay are generally accepted.
○About the menu
With the motto of ``organic cultivation'' and ``no use of additives such as flavorings, sweeteners, or coloring agents,'' they offer dishes such as tea, pancakes, curry, and herbal chicken made with herbs and tea leaves. .
The owner originally worked in the food industry and tries to interact directly with farmers, etc., so you can buy and eat the products he sells with confidence.
○Venus pancake
This time's goal. It's gluten-free because it's made from rice flour and soybean flour, but the restaurant also uses wheat flour, so be careful of contamination.
"thoughts"
#Maple and butter
It's more moist than chewy. It was delicious with the gentle and sweet maple syrup. It was better to eat the ice cream as is. The price is cheaper than other pancake shops (770 yen/plate). However, the portions aren't large, so if you're looking for quantitative satisfaction, you'll want two dishes.
○Aside
It was very interesting to chat with the shop owner. We were talking about organic food and other things, and before I knew it, about 30 minutes had passed. It was great to hear a lot of information from the processing and sales side.
Next time I would like to enjoy herbal chicken and black tea...
I want to go again.

Maybe it's for me who likes less sweetness? However, some of the ones I bought felt a little too sweet overall.
I guess it can't be helped since it's a cream puff, but since it's made from rice flour, I thought it would be different from regular choux pastry, but it wasn't much different. Good for those who are concerned about gluten.
Also, the fact that there was too much cream may be the reason why it felt sweet.

When using the restaurant as a family, there was a huge difference in the time that the order was served, and unfortunately it was only served when everyone had finished eating. I want someone to call out to me, or at least to tune in to the slower person.
The food, including the gluten-free pasta, is delicious, so I wish the quality of the waiters/waitresses would improve.
