Gluten and dairy free pretty much everything. I got a ton of cookies and some coconut macaroons. They were delicious. I would have tried a chocolate taco ice cream if I were at home and had access to a freezer!

This was a pretty neat place. My husband and I both enjoyed our food. They were able to accommodate my food sensitivities. The bee sting pancakes which are seasonal were really good. Was able to get them in gluten free. Their chicken sausage was good as well. My husband tried the pineapple upside down pancakes (not gluten free) and loved them. Looking forward to dining in again and trying other options

There is only one guy here who seems to be in a genuinely good mood and happy to help. I come in frequently because it’s down the street and they have some pretty good gluten free pastries and the coffee is amazing, but I have to admit the service and atmosphere is usually tense. I often feel like I’m bothering the staff.

EXCELLENT! I’m a make it from scratch with quality ingredients person. The products at this shop are made from scratch daily. That’s a BIG DEAL to me. We got the carrot cake, a cookies and cream cupcake, vegan/gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and a frappe made with coconut milk. All was very delicious and it was so hard not to buy more. Other vegan options available too.

I enjoyed the crepes I tasted and my gluten-free waffle. I was glad they had an option for me. Coffee was great, and the service was friendly and helpful. The cook even allowed my friend to instruct him to make her crepe must the way she likes it. Excellent!

First time dining at Black Walnut Cafe. It was busy (as it was Easter), but there were plenty of seats. This is a “seat yourself” establishment, which is not really clear until until you walk into the restaurant. Once my party walked in, there was plenty of choice seating. The servers were professional and friendly and the food was good. The portion sizes were just right, but the gluten free pancakes were a little dry (even with syrup). The kids gluten free cheese burger and fries were good as was the Mac and cheese and grilled chicken. The experience was pleasant and we will definitely visit again.

I was extremely disappointed with the experience here. Which is unfortunate because my first visit a few months ago was extremely positive. From the extreme unprofessionalism of the servers, to the uneducated staff in the kitchen. I was served a gluten filled meal, even though I specifically requested a lettuce wrap and a gluten allergy.. when the food was put in front of me, I told the server it was not correct, and he said “you need to take that to the manager to fix it” instead of offering to take care of it. Overall extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.

My husband and I enjoyed an amazing lunch at Huynh today. The manager Brian took such good care to help us choose something that I could eat with my gluten and dairy free diet and made some amazing recommendations. My favorite part of the meal was the rice “cake” that came with my yummy dish. The food and experience was really above and beyond. We would love to come back in the future.

Really great Greek food. Their side salads are huge and come with a big slice of feta which I enjoyed! The lemon potatoes and pita bread were also delicious and very fresh.
Also, they had labels for gluten-free items!

They changed the restrooms to both be family friendly! Just need a changing table in the 2nd one but I'm sure that's coming. Thank you, Slowpokes!!!
This place and the employees are amazing. There is plenty of gluten friendly food to choose from and the RR has a changing table. I'm basic so I stick to mocha lattes throughout the year otherwise I'll try some seasonal stuff; and those are really good. I love the atmosphere and how child friendly it is.

I love the gluten free crepes here. They are great! This place is quiet and clean, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I have tried a few of their savory crepes which are good and of course the sweet ones are amazing! I’ve tried a few other places and this place has the best gluten free batter.

A great breakfast restaurant in CityCenter! Extensive menu for food and drinks. Lots of options for sweet, savoury and vegan. Also for hot/cold drinks, espresso and alcoholic beverages. Gluten free options are available too.
It’s suggested by a friend and my first visit to this place. I really enjoyed my breakfast. I had the delicious crab and asparagus omelette. I can see myself coming back here for more.
Very popular. It was busy at 8.30am. Cosy, clean and friendly atmosphere. There is a bar in the restaurant. Indoor and enclosed outdoor dining available. A big parking lot around the area. Staffs are friendly and attentive.

Cute little bakery hidden in the corner of a shopping center. We got our order to go so we could eat in the park, but the shop was clean and had interesting art and decorations. Our treats were beautifully executed and delicious. The sachertorte was a tender and chocolatey gluten free cake that doesn’t sacrifice texture for dietary restrictions.

Ordered through Uber eats. Also, called right after to make sure items were correct. 3 breakfast crepes extra crispy 1 gluten free w extra eggs and cheese. None were marked to make distinction, they all weighed the same and none were crispy. Ordered 6 fruit/sweet sides for 3 different people to which they packed into a single crepe. I called them after order was received and they answered and hung up twice.

I absolutely love this neighborhood cafe. The coffee (drip, Americano, lattes) is always good, and they offer free refills on the drip coffee. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I come here a lot to get work done, and I have always felt welcome. Free WiFi available with purchase for 2 hours. The food is consistently flavorful (try the Torrijas, Shakshouka, and Huevos Agnes for breakfast and the lamb burger for lunch. Their red pepper tomato soup is also delicious and dairy-free!) and their pastries are amazing - specifically the gluten-free banana bread!
Best food in Houston. Local fresh ingredients with a rotating specials menu - there is something to eat for everyone. Great place for dairy, gluten alternatives. Love their almond waffles, salads, and paleo vegan cookies!

Beautiful place, great customer service, and the food was delicious! The reason I give a 4 star was because the noodles for my pasta weren't 100% done. They were gluten-free and needed more time to cook. But the sauce was delicious, and the manager was very attentive.

The lemon blueberry scone and the iced chia tea latte are both very good. The scone and the coffee cake are both gluten-free so I was able to get a treat with my chia tea. I ate my scone before I remembered to take a picture. That's how good it was.

Great place. Staff is fabulous. My daughter loves the pepperoni pizza and I did like the gluten free crust margarita pizza although it definitely could have used more cheese. We have a service dog and they are always super accommodating. Very lively place. Has a very good energy and there are always several larger groups there even on weekdays.

Snooze never disappoints. Food is always on point. The service is excellent. The only thing I would say is the inside seating area is usually very loud and busy. If it’s a comfortable weather day I recommend sitting outside. If you like pancakes a side order of the pancake of the month is always a treat! See pictures below of this months do it pancake. On our last visit I accidentally forgot to ask for the gluten free version of my food because of my celiac. I only realized when my food was brought out to the table. Our waitress was very kind and had my meal remade and did not add anything to our bill. One of the best places for brunch!

One of my favorite shops especially for the drive thru, frozen coffee, and service. The macarons are like a cherry on top. It would be AMAZING if their oatmeal cream pies were gluten friendly, because they look so delicious. The lack of gluten friendly options is the only downside. Of course they wouldn't be entirely gluten free, but that's ok for me (and likely many other people). The employees are always great even when you can tell they aren't at their best. They're always professional, polite, and kind. The only reason I have the atmosphere 4 *'s is the acoustics- it can get loud in there fast. But just like this rating, it's a personal opinion. Objectively, many small spaces get loud fast, so there's practically no helping it without making major changes. That's one reason I like the big patio. Still, I love this place! I hope it will be there for a long time!
Edited to add: There's no changing table in the RR btw!

Interesting flavors for the Mochi donut and shaved ice. While you'd think the smell of sugar and the toppings could lead to the biggest sugar rush, you'll be happy to know that mochi donuts contain about half the calories of regular doughnuts, making them a much healthier alternative. An added plus is that they are also gluten-free.
Didn't try the unique potato dish but others in the place were ordering them so maybe next time.
I was pleasantly surprised. I had never been inside Phoenicia Specialty Foods before today. I had no idea what it is.
I walked in, and was very surprised to see that one half of the store looked like Costco and the other half looked like Central Market or Whole Foods Market. After sanitizing my hands and going through the metal entrance arch, I was greeted by fresh produce priced just slightly higher than HEB. I then saw whole animal sides hanging behind the glass window of the refridgerated butchery and smiled because I could watch the meat being freshly cut and packed. I then noticed the conveyor belt coming down from the sky with freshly baked somethings from what must be their in-house bakery and later realized that it was freshly baked pita pocket bread. I then took a closer look at the packed meat and realized that it was all marked Halal, which explained the large count of seemingly Muslim people that were in the store.
By the time I was done browsing every single isle, I felt like they should have asked me for my passport at the entrance because I had been transported to an Arab wonderland with a European influence. Halal, expertly-cut-in-store meats. Fresh baked-in-store breads. I can only assume the salads and hummus may have also been made from scratch inside the grocery store. They had ratatouille next to spiced cauliflower and Croissants next to baklava. Artisan cheeses and salami, nuts, dried fruits, sweets and foreign delicacies, ghee, and gluten-free sweets and pancake mixes all spead beautifully on the shelves.
The Costco-looking side of the store had everything from 5 gallon tubs of yogurt and huge rounds of cheese to pastas, sauces, spices, hooka pipes, artisan bar soaps and very nice kitchen tools. There was even a jewelry case with beautiful items.
I'm someone who has previously worked at a regular grocery store, where I was disappointed to learn that many things in the deli and meat department come premade. This place is a breath of fresh air.
I selected a small basket of great finds and left a very happy lady. I'd say the prices are very reasonable and fair for great quality. The staff could have looked a little happier, but overall the service was good. The bathrooms were also clean.

Met with a friend for lunch here and we really enjoyed it. While they provide a lot of dairy free beverages, the food and pastry menu lacks the same diversity. I was able to have a gluten free dessert. The honey lavender cheesecake was rich and fresh. For lunch I had the chicken Caesar wrap. It was good and light but the bacon bits tasted a little tough. My son had the bacon egg and cheese croissant, he enjoyed it but I think the croissant may have been toasted a little too long because he had crumbs everywhere. Overall we enjoyed our experience and it wad great. There was a young lady with colorful pink and purple hair that was helpful with the menu and greeted us when we came in.
