Came as part of a group of 15. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The service was terrific and surprisingly quick with how many people were in my group and the amount of other customers in the restaurant. They had both a vegan menu and a gluten-free menu, which was fantastic. I love that there were 3 types of cheese, which is beneficial and most dairy-free cheese to choose from. It also noted that the cauliflower crust was not dairy-free, which most restaurants do not note. The vegan veggie pizza with gluten-free crust follow-your-heart mozzarella cheese was nice and hot when I got it. The crust was thin, which made it crisp but not hard like some gluten-free crust. Because the crust was not hard, it meant I was able to eat all of the crust and not waste the edge like most crust I have eaten. This is definitely a new favorite.

My husband and I are club members (for about 6 months) and have dined here once prior today. Both experiences were great, but today was exceptional!! Our waitress, Jaden Rain, was very helpful and just the right amount of attentive. She gave helpful insight to the menu and even offered me gluten free bread before the meal (I had no clue that was even an option). Our meals were delivered quickly, were generous portions, reasonably priced, and were incredibly delicious. I was blown away by the gluten free pre-meal bread. It was warm, soft, sweet, and so tasty. The other two non-GF people eating with me agreed that it was very tasty. The GF menu was extensive, including 5 dessert options. Additionally, we feel like the wine club membership is really worth all the perks that come with it, even coming from people who don't maximize the benefits each month. Will absolutely be back and we are grateful for the amazing service we received from Jaden today! And 10/10 for gluten friendly options! (Photos include my gluten free meal - pre-meal GF bread and GF Thai wraps (after I'd devoured them, haha!))

My all time favorite Indian food restaurant. Love their lunch buffet! Love their garlic naan, chai tea and mango lassi. Very easy to eat gluten free there, if needed. Every item we've tried on the menu is flavorful and rich and comforting. It's 45 minutes away from where we live but if we're going out for Indian food we always head to Seva!

My kind of place! Fun, open, industrial vibe with a small amount of outdoor seating. The parking was close and easy in the parking garage. And the food…. The FOOD!! What I strive to do every day, prepared and planned by someone else. I felt confident I was eating good and fresh food. Like a vaca to eat here. Plus so many options to choose from. Bowls, wraps, fish, lasagne, gluten free, dairy free options. On and on and on. I also believe they have seasonal choices that means you can to eat something different every time you go back. I can’t wait to go again.

Stopped here on cross country road trip to experience true Kansas City BBQ. Ordered The Taste of Kansas City platter to share. We subbed the 1/2 chicken with a chicken breast because 2 of us are gluten free and their half chicken is NOT gluten free. Fries are not GF and our waiter said none of the chicken is GF including the wings. I asked if the wings can come plain and he said no. The coleslaw is amazing and our favorite. Well chopped, not sour/bitter. More like sweet with celery seed. Family liked the brisket the best. Honey glazed Baby Back Ribs and pulled pork were good. Slightly dry. Had beans and coleslaw sides. The beans were good too. Two of our family is no gluten free. One had kids chicken fingers and fries - all good. They share onion rings. Are 4 between the two of them. They were high quality, thick cut and enjoyed An overall good stop.

BRGR is an absolute must-try, especially for gluten-free diners! They have an amazing selection of gluten-free options that don’t skimp on flavor. The burger I had was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crafted with a gluten-free bun that held up beautifully. But the real star of the show was the parmesan fries—they are *so* good, especially when paired with their delicious aioli. The crispy, cheesy fries with that creamy dip are the perfect side to any meal. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, making it a great spot to enjoy a tasty meal with friends. I had always wanted to try this place. I was beyond disappointed. The sushi had brown rice which I don’t like. I saw other people’s food and they had white so it would have been nice to know I had a choice since ALL rice is gluten free. I asked for gluten-free soy sauce and was assured it was but then had a reaction later so it obviously wasn’t. None of the workers were friendly nor welcoming. What truly turned my stomach was watching workers fill water glasses by literally pressing the water pitcher down on each glass where people drink thus spreading germs. I appreciate music and a good vibe but it was obnoxiously loud. Super HARD pass.

I really wanted to like this place more but after going there twice, I wasn't impressed enough to give it 5 stars. The first time we went, it was for lunch. The 2 times we went the staff was gluten informed, which was awesome! I got the salmon sandwich. Unfortunately, the bun was frozen in the middle, and the salmon smelled really fishy. I didn't mention either to the sever. Also, my side salad had way too much goat cheese. I'm not a huge fan of goat chees, but that did not sway my opinion on the amount because the second time we went, I ordered a different side salad and it too had way too much cheese. We got the pork fajita nachos both times as an appetizer. They are decent. The second time, my husband got the Blackened chicken linguini. First off the presentation was terrible, to the point comical. It looked like someone with minimal cooking experience threw that sh*t together. My husband is a pasta lover and didn't eat much of it. I got the grilled shrimp dinner and it came with a great amount of shrimp. I got the spicy broccoli for one of my sides. It was okay. Broccoli was really soft, and it looked more like a broccoli soup than broccoli covered with a spicy cheese sauce. Again, the presentation was not great, but it tasted decent. The staff were great both times. The atmosphere is decent. Nothing fancy. I went in Yoga pants the second time and didn't feel too underdressed. After the second time there, my husband and I concluded we would go there for the grilled menu but that was about it.

I am gluten-free and was handed a gluten free “menu” that was sticky with black residue all over it. I then asked my server about gluten free option and he said he didn’t know what gluten free was. It took over 30 minutes for our drinks to come out. We ordered our daughters food before ours (45 minutes) and it came out 5 minutes before our main meal. Drinks were never refilled. Terrible service. Oh and I spent $28 for a “2 meat” dinner that didn’t even fill my tiny gluten free bun.

We came in on Easter Sunday with 5 adults and 7 hungry kids…our wonderful waitress didn’t “bat an eye” but handled our orders perfectly…Everyone was very satisfied and happy… This was a trial run on taking the kids out to eat…they did a great job and so did our waitress…Food was great and with two Celiac folks, and a vegetarian we were SO pleased…keep up the super work! Jack Stack BBQ is hands down one of the best BBQ spots in Kansas City! Not only do they serve up some of the most flavorful and tender BBQ in town, but they also offer fantastic gluten-free options that make it easy for everyone to enjoy. Absolutely the worst "italian" ever. Went for my daughter's birthday, had reservations for 7. We got there the place was empty, should have been the first sign to leave, the staff were all on their phones, and not an italian to be seen. The cast iron the lasagna was served on smelled like dish soap and the lasagna itself tasted like fish. The gluten free was salty and overcooked. The carbonara was undercooked and the sauce was bland. The only thing that was remotely decent was the 6 hour sauce pasta, which was really just a basic speghetti and meatballs in a wheat thickened sauce (grandma would roll in her grave at that cheap attempt at a good sauce). We only saw the staff a few times and the never failed to put an elbow in somones face. To call it the McDonald's of Italian would be an insult to McDonald's. Save your money and eat anywhere else.

Stopped here for my lunch break. Not only is this location super cute but also has fast and friendly service. Drive thru was busy but the inside was cozy, bright and pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Perfect spot to read and enjoy some lunch! Plenty of healthy options to choose from including gluten free. The Mint Chip Energizer tastes EXACTLY like mint chip ice cream, but without the guilt!!! Delicious!! Sesame chicken salad was very fresh and tasty. H2O #5 was wonderfully refreshing during a long work day. This location will definitely be my go to place.

I reached out privately to address this issue but never heard back. A bit over a week ago my friend and I ate here. We have eaten at the Plaza locations numerous times but this is closer to us so wanted to check it out. I regret that decision. I have celiac disease and a vegetarian on top of that so eating out can be more difficult. To start, server was nice, but not knowledgeable. I had to ask for the Gluten Free bread and he had no idea what I was talking about. About 10 minutes later he brought it out and it was super dry. I ordered the GF gnocchi without meat and extra peas. My gnocchi was made with chicken. He said, "there was some confusion, they made it with chicken, do you want them to redo it so you don't have to longer or just take it like it is?" I said, I'll just eat around the meat. Which is a complete waste of meat because either way it would have been thrown away. He brings it out, it was super dry. I assume they kept it under a warning lamp while my friends was being prepared. About an hour after I get home, I am so sick and bloated. I am assuming they didn't give me the Gluten free option I asked for. I have never had issues at the Plaza location. I suggest using allergy markers for food like most restaurant do. So $4.99 for a sods and $28.99 for mediocre food is just not acceptable. Be cautious if you have food allergies. So disappointed.

Brick River used to (as of last month) have one of the best gluten-free menus. Went back today and was sorely disappointed. First, they axed almost everything on the menu. Second, everything was “pre-made” and STALE. The pizza was not good. The gluten-free donuts were inedible. Honestly I want a refund as I feel mislead by how great the menu was before today. Love the ciders, but I can buy those at the liquor store. I won’t be back if the menu stays this way. There are much better options in the crossroads.

We live in the neighborhood and have eaten here a handful of times, all to the same conclusion. This place is fine but massively overpriced. In spite of being lovingly reviewed, it’s really nothing to write home about. It is not a spot I would take friends visiting from out of town, but I have gone back repeatedly to try their rotating menu and more of their drink list. Nothing - and I mean nothing- has hit it out of the park, which is a bit upsetting at this price point. The service has been fine every time and some of the dishes are good (although most leave us wanting for something) but none are even remotely worth the price. As a chef myself, I can confirm the upcharge is extreme at this restaurant. The restaurant claims to have gluten and dairy free options but also asks that you don’t make substitutions and we have found that many of the items labeled “gluten free” on the website are actually not and can only be made gluten free with the omission of significant portions of the presentation. Basically you get half the overpriced dish to make it gluten free- like ice cream and a cookie without the cookie. Frustrating snd misleading and this situation applies to about half their “gluten free” menu.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City! They have a number of vegetarian and gluten free options, and their food is outstanding. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing (love their rooftop seating), and the staff is the best! They even remade my order for free when I forgot to ask for it without cheese (dairy allergy). 10/10 recommended this place!

Very friendly staff. They helped my wife with her Gluten Free requirements. The guacamole is tasty but mild. The carne asada taco was cooked properly and the meat was tender but needs a little more spice. The BLT taco is more of a novelty than a taco. Really loved the flavor of the carne molida taco, I'll come back for more of them. Their margaritas are STRONG and tasty. The bartender and manager even had a shot of tequila with us. Great place.
