Here, everything is gluten-free and there are milk alternatives. I visit Mecato almost daily and highly recommend the Arepas and Empanadas. I always go for one of the vegan options, like the Arepa Verde or Berlin, which are really tasty. The Arepa Caleña is also one of my favorites. My friend enjoys the Arepa Paisa, and in the picture, you can see the Arepa Llanera. The exotic juices and homemade lemonades are delicious and refreshing. The Colombian hot chocolate and coffee are also really good. Everyone in this family-owned business is very friendly and accommodating ☺️

Today we drove to the Hard Rock Café relatively spontaneously without a reservation. We actually got a good table, super friendly service and what we came by in the first place...gluten free food. People with celiac disease cannot eat in this restaurant. Because tortillas with and without gluten are made in the same oven. Which I don't quite understand. Big disappointment.

There is not only vegan food here, but also *gluten-free* offers. Which isn't available often, it's sometimes super difficult to find something and you often have to ask or leave something out so that it's gluten-free.
Otherwise the service was very nice, the prices were good and the food was delicious!!

All allergens are marked on the online allergen menu. They have a good selection of gluten free items and I have not had a reaction as a celiac, but they do not have a dedicated gluten free kitchen.
Service is great and the staff has been the same for years, which is a good sign for me because they are knowledgeable about ingredients and allergens.
