Really good service but we didn't really enjoy the food. We ordered off the gluten free menu and pasta didn't taste that great. Ordered the lobster meal but pieces were very small. Substitutions were common because they didn't have what was offered. Overall we felt disappointed in the meals.

I'm gluten free and was thrilled that Club Car had a separate GF menu that included a lot of choices. They even had GF soups!!! Fun atmosphere, great service and great food at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed Club Car and definitely will visit again.

Endless food and bottomless mimosas/bloody marys/mixed drinks is a hell of a way to start a weekend. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and there were plenty of options for gluten free eaters.

Oryza has become a staple of our Asian food expeditions whenever the desire arises. The primary reason is my wife has Celiac’s and therefore must avoid gluten. Oryza fortunately uses corn based flour, not wheat. This wizardy allows food allergen victims to be able to eat from their diverse menu. Their food preparation is excellent. The atmosphere is chill. The service is fantastic. We’ve had only 1 negative experience and noticed that same server was not employed there for much longer. ANYWAYS- this is a great place for Asian cuisine. The owner is always friendly and recognizes us when we visit.

Ordered DoorDash , got my food , ate it and not even thirty minutes later I started to get sick, I have celiacs and ordered gluten free but it wasn’t gluten free, well I still got sick and now I’m dealing with vommitt , and passing blood in my stools. Please do a better job at using you’re dedicated areas to make pizza, never had any issues here until now.

Such a cute spot! The aroma walking in just so yummy! I ordered Black Raspberry Oreo ice cream. There were a wide variety of flavors with quite a bit of gluten free (GF) options as well. The one scoop I got in my waffle cone was looking more like 2 scoops! Extremely generous portions!

I was really excited to go here and get gf crepes. The reviews made it seem super safe. We walked in a the staff was not friendly whatsoever, the girl practically threw the cups and water at our table. I was watching them cook the crepes and they cleaned everything with what looked like chemical cleaning spray. I was also nervous because I could only see the one container of nutella that they were using for all of the non-gf crepes and was questioning if they would open a new container. They didn’t, I watched them use the exact same knife and container for my crepe. Overall disappointed.

My experience was great especially as someone that has celiacs and gets sick easily with cross contamination. They have a designated gluten free menu with so many options which I feel like is so hard to come by. Their staff was also on top of it. They make sure that they mark it as an allergy when putting through the order and then shortly after I ordered a manager came to our table to make sure that she had correct everything that I specifically ordered to ensure that they were extra careful handling my food. And while I never expect restaurants to be able to really accommodate me because it is difficult when they handle so many different gluten products It felt so nice to feel “normal” getting to eat out and feeling safe doing so. I truly can not say enough good things about my experience and the staff and give a huge kudos as I know they are like this with others who may have other sensitivities or allergies. Absolutely will make the two hour drive back to eat here again.

Beautiful, cozy, esay going, clean, delicious food and excellent service. If you're in town, make time to visit. Do come with an empty stomach, servings are on the plentyfull side!!! Great variety of offerings with gluten-free and vegetarian plates as well as local meats.

I love Trumpet Blossom. I come here every time I come to Iowa city. The food is delicious and plant based. I am a meat eater, and yet I love all the dishes here. I feel like I miss nothing. As a gluten-free, dairy-free individual, I love knowing there's a restaurant I can come to, and I can nearly pick anything on the menu and know that it is safe for me to eat. They're also very conscious of gluten allergies and can accommodate with delicious options. This waste not, want not vibe make me feel at home and inclusive. I highly recommend the turmeric latte tastes wonderful, and it's full of antioxidants. You just can't beat going to a restaurant that gives you the vibe, the great food experience, and a feeling that you've enhanced your health when your done.

Our first visit, was recommended to me for the gluten free options. Pleasantly surprised by the number of choices, including sides. We opted for the pulled pork nachos - the highlight of the dish was the smoked meat and homemade salsa - both were delicious!! Unfortunately the nachos came out 1/2 heated and had to go back to bake a bit longer (think that might have dried them out and burned the chips). Service was great!

Driving through Iowa, I decided to take a break at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, Calista’s friendly and welcoming attitude made the experience even better. She provided excellent service, ensuring everything was just right. The Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburger was delicious, served on a gluten-free bun that was soft yet held together perfectly. And those sweet potato fries? Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the meal! This location delivers on both great food and outstanding customer service. Kindred is a casual café with delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch 100% gluten free. As celiac, it is rare to have the possibility to choose anything from the menu without cross-contamination. This is the only place in Iowa city with a 100% GF kitchen. Additionally, I loved the vibe of the place: young and casual.

The variety of pizzas was amazing, and we loved trying the cheese sticks, Thai Peanut pizza, and calzone. One of our friends had the gluten-free, dairy-free pizza and said it was delicious. Attention Celiacs! A Hidden Gem for Fresh, Gluten-Free Eats After a trip to Colorado, I was craving the perfect grain bowl—and I stumbled upon this place. Think of it as a guilt-free Chipotle! I ordered the Fiesta Bowl, and my wife got a similar dish. Everything was fantastic—the portion sizes were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. I’m honestly surprised I hadn’t heard of this place before, but I’ll definitely be back!

You walk in and order at the counter. Waitress was very nice. I had questions about gluten free and she gave a gf options menu. Food came out as ordered and quickly. The beef brisket sandwich , and coleslaw were good (gf bun was an awesome surprise). I loved the self serve bbq sauce counter, and drinks are self serve. Went in at evening rush yesterday to order some grilled nuggets. As someone with Celiac, it always makes me a little anxious to go at peak hours due to risk of cross contamination. Manny quickly put me at ease! His fabulous service and personality made my whole day. Thank you, Manny!! He took the time to quickly check and get answers to a few weird questions I had. He didn’t make me feel bad or like a burden to ask and took time out of his busy day to make sure I got the answers I needed! The whole team was fabulous as always, Manny just deserves an extra brag!!

Pleasant, friendly and good food. All meat and seasonings are GF. The fries are GF and the only item fried in the fryer. There is only one BBQ sauce that is not GF: texas twang. The bread/ buns, cornbread, macaroni salad, and vanilla wafers( topping for the banana pudding) are not gluten free. I don't normally use alot salt, it was a little salty for me but not enough to turn away. I'm celiac, I ordered the 5 bone baby back rib combo with fries. The two non celiac I was with one ordered the same thing I did but hers had corn bread included. The other order was spare rib combo his also had cornbread. They both enjoyed the cornbread. All of us enjoyed the dinners. The meat was very tender and flavorful on its own. We tried several BBQ sauces and the special vinegar seasoning for fries. We took some leftovers home. The staff was super friendly. Took the time to explain their process and what items I could safely eat. They also marked the ticket for my GF meal. After 24 hours no adverse reactions! We will definitely return when in town.

I used to get meals from here weekly when I lived in the state. I have been gone almost 5 years now and came back for a visit. I like staying on track so I stopped by. The service was the same phenomenal service as before. The choices felt as if they were endless. I’m both gluten and dairy free & it was amazing to have more than two choices. I’ve already tried the much recommended bison burger bowl & I loved it. The flavor profile was totally there. I can’t wait to try my other meals.

Went here yesterday afternoon and it was delicious. My daughter and fiancé got the jalapeño bacon fries minus jalapeño and Korean kimchi bbq fries and said they were amazing. My son and I are super sensitive to gluten. I got the chili cheese fries and he got the bbq pulled pork fries, they were awesome. We also had no problem with a reaction afterwards. Highly recommend for a quick snack and for gluten free. We will definitely be back!!

I stopped here on my drive home from the West Coast to Illinois. I was looking for the perfect "something" for my gluten free/ dairy free daughter. This little shop hit the spot perfectly. I got there mid afternoon and there wasn't a lot to choose from, but I was able to buy her a few different things to try. Meg, who waited on me was friendly and very helpful. We chatted for a while and then I headed home. My daughter loved all the baked goods and was thrilled that I was able to find a place where I could bring her some goodies.
