Absolutely fell in love with this place!! We were traveling and looking for a safe place to eat with celiac/severe gluten allergy as well as dairy free. The fact that Portia’s entire menu is gluten free and vegan was AMAZING so everything was completely safe!! We drank the mushroom lattes and split the breakfast burrito bowl and a waffle - the food was out of this world. Everyone on staff was so kind and in a great mood, and the space is cozy and colorful. Will definitely back if we find ourselves in Columbus again!
A unique gem with a cozy vibe, offering scratch-made delights and a diverse menu, perfect for those seeking tasty and safe options.

Gluten free haven! Delicious comfort food. It is so hard to find fried gluten free food at other places because of cross contamination in the fryer, but here everything is safe for celiac! The empanadas and apple fritters were amazing!
A must-visit for an amazing variety of options, including unique meats and tasty sides, all in a welcoming environment.

I can't have gluten or dairy anymore and it was a big change, haven't eaten much because I'm picky and have lost so much weight. I decided to try this place and it was phenomenal! I didn't even know this kind of food could taste this good!! I was actually able to feel satisfied after eating which doesn't happen anymore. I cried, I literally cried in the middle of eating! Thanks for the delicious food and for caring about people who have to deal with this!!
A chill vibe with a bustling patio, it's a go-to for well-executed dishes that keep you coming back for more every time!

Excellent burgers! Great option for celiacs, staff is very knowledgeable. Gluten eating dad says if all GF was that good he would never eat gluten again 🤣

Absolutely loved this place!
If you live around the area or happen to be in town this bakery is definitely a go to!
I am 100% gluten free with celiac and when I tell you this is the best tasting baked goods I’ve had since I started my journey!
I got the cinnamon rollup, beignet donuts, donut holes, muffin (berries), and quiche! Donuts were my fav!
It is a little bit pricey but if you’re celiac you already know the drill! Definitely worth it especially when you get a little bit of everything!
A vibrant spot with amazing atmosphere, unique flavors, and delicious drinks that locals rave about—definitely a must-visit in town!

I was in Columbus for a MTG tournament, and was unfamiliar with the area. I searched for gluten free food, not expecting to find much, but I found Forno.
Not only was Molly the waitress absolutely phenomenal. (And she definitely deserves a raise) My experience there was beyond amazing.
I've never had a pizza so delicious, I've never had FOOD so delicious. Let alone, a GLUTEN FREE pizza!
I liked Forno so much that during my weekend in Columbus I HAD to go there a second time because I wanted to experience it again before I left.
10/10 would go there again, I'd drive from Detroit to Columbus just to experience Forno again.
A vibrant gastropub with a welcoming vibe, creative drinks, and a menu that consistently impresses diners with flavorful dishes.

Went for a family dinner this past Saturday. Service was great. We made reservations and we were sat immediately even tho it was packed. Our waitress was awesome. I have Celiac disease and felt totally comfortable and safe eating there and having to be gluten free. I want to give 5 stars instead of 4 but I just can’t because of the food. It really just wasn’t very good. I got a vegetable and rice dish with chicken that was lacking flavor majorly. Our appetizer was the “spicy” pimento dip that was hard and not spicy. It just didn’t fair well. My mom got shrimp pasta and said it was underwhelming. Daughter got chicken fingers and said the same thing . I’m going to go back and try again, maybe it’ll be better next time. I really want to like it since the rest of the experience was so good.
A hidden gem serving incredible pizza with a perfect crust and generous toppings, making it a must-visit for any pizza lover!

Sort of happened across this place by chance when looking for a lunch spot, and really glad we did! I got a pickle pizza (didn't see it on the menu, but just ask about it), and it was really good! They also are gluten friendly, which was great for my wife. You can tell the owner was passionate about what he was doing! Wish we had a spot like this back home!

I want to love Town Hall, as someone who has food allergies (gluten, dairy, & soy), but the last 2 times my order was made wrong. Both times they contained one of my allergies - the first time a burger came with cheese and the second time I was given the keto bun instead of the gluten free bun which contains dairy. The first time it was refunded since I was already home. The second time I was close by when I realized and they made it again. Food allergies are nothing to mess with though and to advertise as accommodating but consistently make food wrong is very frustrating. There’s clearly a lack of knowledge from staff or protocols are lacking.

So disappointed that a lot of their homemade products contain awful ingredients. Gluten free donuts have artificial flavoring, poptarts have Red Food Dye 40, lots of products with high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavoring.
This spot is a must-visit for anyone craving a diverse menu with top-notch flavors that everyone loves, regardless of dietary preferences.

I was drawn by the gluten free menu. The coconut chicken was amazing. Very crispy and the coconut sauce is sweet. The egg drop soup was also delicious. I will be back to try the GF sweet and sour chicken. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I really wanted to like this place. I was terribly disappointed. I purchased a donut and a muffin. The donut was meh, not that great but edible. The muffin was terrible. I threw it away after a couple bites. I know gluten free baking is challenging. I have done it with much better results. I went out of my way to get there and I won't be back.

Not a lot of places for someone who has a baby for a stomach with IBS, Gluten intolerance, and Dairy allergy, yet I can come here and get a medium pizza for less than 20 bucks with everything I can actually have, and it not only look like a freaking normal pizza for once (fantastic mind you) and it was freaking perfect. I will be coming here on the most absolute regular now.

6-1-Pho is the restaurant I most regularly frequent in Columbus. I like it a lot and the prices are good, the food is even better and the workers are always friendly.
What I like about this place is the food can satisfy a meat eater, a vegan, or a gluten free person all the same. I generally get the marinated tofu pho and my partner the chicken pho- both are great and I think their broth is perfect. They started using flatter noodles which are less good than the more round noodles they used to use so I hope they switch back!
I get to go and they have this down to a science- they have a good packing system that makes sure you don’t spill and the food tastes good when you get it home.
A local gem with a trendy vibe, great drink specials, and fresh, locally sourced options that keep everyone coming back for more.

How the mighty have fallen. They ruined our Mother’s Day dinner by serving a clearly medium rare burger when my wife wanted a medium. We sent it back but not before the waiter comes back with the food and tell us “this is our medium here”…the middle was cool in the! We thought it would be 5-10 minutes max for the new burger . 30 minutes later and with everyone else done with their dinner the burger still isn’t out! They offer to comp the meal and give us a free gluten free dessert… however when the food still isn’t out I talk to the owner and tell her the situation. She goes back and then a manager comes over saying they are still working on it and gives me the bill. I tell the manager I’m not paying for anything as this literally ruined our dinner. She goes away, comes back with the food bagged up and says “Here is your food, you can go now”. Both the waiter and the manager were rude during this entire encounter. THEN to top it off, on the way home we get a text from them saying the desserts they sent home were NOT gluten free…and my wife is celiac and the one that all this happened it!! And the last straw was when we got home, check out the burger…the damn thing was still medium rare!!! Check the picture for the 2nd burger and you tell me. After all this they didn’t even fix it. Long story short, they could have made it ok but the long remake, the attitude all around and the continuing mistakes show me this place has lost their touch.

Had adequate parking. The dining area is large and can accommodate large parties. The manager was helpful and explained where everything was. There is a salad bar with a variety of healthy items.
You will pay between $10-$15 for a sandwich. All foods served are free from dyes, artificial trans fats and flavours, processed MSG's, and high fructose corn syrup, according to the menu. I had the Ruben, and it was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. I also had a salad, which was great. I highly recommend Jason's Deli if you're in the area. They do have gluten sensitive and vegetarian options.
Jason's Deli is a chain resteraunt, which we didn't know until we did some research, with restaurants in 28 states. This is a family owned chain and is in the top 500 for resteraunt chains.
This bakery is a fantastic find with an impressive range of delicious, homemade treats, all made with fresh ingredients and big portion sizes!

My husband and I went to The Refectory last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Lisa was very personable and did such a wonderful job educating us about the dishes offered and drink selections. The Refectory operates differently than most Ohio/US restaurants. It's recommended to order all courses ahead of time as they are small batch. We ordered 4 courses and even though the plates are smaller than "normal" we were pleasantly stuffed at the end of our meal.
To note, courses do come out at a slower, more European pace. Our entire dinner took 2.5 hours. I highly enjoyed the slow pace, it gave us more of a chance to slowly savor our dishes and really connect.
The escargot is more in a loaf type form and comes with a garlicky sauce that is just amazing. Not pictured is the soup I had which was the vegetarian, which was deliciously simple but definitely warming. My husband had the shrimp that had a lovely bright vinaigrette followed by the arugula salad. The arugula paired with the pancetta (I think) was delicious as the fat cut the sharpness of the arugula.
For my main course I had the sturgeon which I highly recommend. It was meltingly soft and the potatoes/vegetables provided a contrasting crunch. My husband had the duck which he highly enjoyed, the cherry sauce had a tartness he enjoyed but I did not particularly care for.
Dessert we both chose the creme brulee. The grand marnier was a nice change from a standard vanilla, it was beautifully silky and paired so well with probably the BEST latte I have ever had.
There were a few items I'm going to grumble about but really are minor and not worth detracting any stars: I have celiac and the gluten free bread basket at $5 extra was rather disappointing. It looked like regular sliced sandwich bread that was cut in diagonals. I'll skip the bread next time as Cameron Mitchell restaurants, Cooper's Hawk and others have better to offer.
The other grumbly item is the lack of dessert options for someone with celiac. I could choose between the creme brulee or I believe a sorbet. Dessert is my absolute favorite course so this was disappointing. It's the reason we'll come back maybe once or twice a year, but probably not more.
Known for its amazing, allergy-friendly treats, this spot offers a delightful selection that pleases everyone, even non-vegans!

Amazing experience at Jeremiah’s Coffee House! The service is exceptional—food and drinks are brought to your table, which is a rare and thoughtful touch for a café. Justin was incredibly welcoming, patient, and helpful, offering great suggestions. He and the entire staff worked seamlessly together, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Though I’m not a big coffee drinker, I was impressed by their extensive menu, featuring countless drink options and a huge gluten-free selection. I ordered the GF cinnamon roll and the pepperoni roll—both were made fresh in-house, warmed up perfectly, and absolutely delicious.

Transcendental empanadas, arepas bursting with fresh fillings, frosty beverages, and a little shop where you can scarf up South American comfort foods and ingredients. The Arepa Place is amazing. My first bite into the chicken empanada sent me on a long journey to a far away planet named Delicious Prime. I landed, mid chew, in a great battle of shredded chicken, buttery flaky fried crust, and an assortment of salsas. There was purple smoke, the screaming of my teeth, and a salty wave of energy that made me urinate my pants. Moments later my wife and daughter shook me awake and I found myself on the floor moaning like a cow in heat. "Are you okay?" they asked, frantically. My response, "more arepas. And some of that aguapanela." The EMT team, curious, ordered some as well. Then, with my EMT team, I transcended back into the fever dream of flavor. Dedicated gluten free. Cute wall decor.
A go-to spot for a varied menu with plenty of options and satisfying portions, plus a tempting array of unique dishes to enjoy.

Went for dinner Saturday. It is BYOB so we brought a couple beers from 50 West, but I learned we should have brought a bottle of wine. That's a thing and almost every other table there had bottles of wine they brought. Started with the tots and 24 month aged parmesan. Had them hold the truffle oil. The tots were hot, crispy and there was quite a little of them. The aioli was great on the tots and the parmesan was an awesome compliment. I had a side of blue cheese cole slaw. It was really good - very tangy and creamy. It was the second time I've had blue cheese cole slaw and I'm going to get it whenever I see it on a menu. This was the first time I've been to a place and thought I could enjoy every single entree on the menu! I had the shrimp and grits entree. 6 large blackened shrimp with BBQ sauce on some tasty grits with whole pieces of corn and bacon. Excellent shrimp and grits. My wife had the fettuccini Alfredo pasta with fried shrimp and blue crab. She loved it, and I know why because I had a taste. The breading on the shrimp was so light you almost couldn't tell it was fried. She got the gluten-free carrot cake and I got the chocolate decadence. Here's was really good - mine blew me away. I don't usually get chocolate cake when I go places but the description sold me. It had layers of chocolate cake, chocolate brownie, chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache. It was incredible! We also took home some special dessert items - tiramisu blossoms and macarons (espresso and I think raspberry). They really have great sweets here. I can't wait to go back and start trying all of the other entrees. Don't forget to call and get reservations. It's a small place so space is limited. We made the mistake of just showing up a few weeks ago and would have had to wait a couple hours. This time we made the reservation first. This is a new favorite place for us!
Menus highlight special dietary options, making it easy for everyone to find something tasty while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere.

Good place! I'm not super adventurous so my meal wasn't anything great (my fault 100%). But the menus list what's Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, and what has dairy, which was great because we had three people who fell into one of those categories.
