Just had an amazing experience at Selia Bar and had to share! The entire place is 100% gluten free, which was such a relief — no need to worry about cross-contamination at all. It’s so refreshing to be able to choose anything from the menu without second-guessing or stressing. There were so many delicious options to pick from, and everything we tried was fantastic. Our server, Erick, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his thoughtful service. If you’re looking for a safe and genuinely enjoyable place to eat out, I highly recommend Selia Bar. I left feeling full, happy, and totally at ease.

Fantastic pizza from the spruce meadows stand today. Had the gluten free pizza which was amazing! Also the staff working are very personable and friendly. Definitely will be continuing to get my gluten free pizza from them

What a lucky find and a gem of a place! We were passing through after a long day of work and in need of a good, celiac safe option for dinner. The staff was super accommodating even though they were about to close. The majority of the menu can be made gluten free and is definitely the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had (celiac or not). Highly recommend!! We absolutely loved the gluten free spring rolls (dedicated fryer, IYKYK) and gluten free subs. The staff were so friendly and amazing at answering all our questions. Bonus: large portion sizes, all at a really good price. Will be back again that’s for sure!

This place is fantastic from every aspect. The moment we stepped foot in the door we received a warm welcome. Our gluten and dairy allergies were catered for with ease. We massively over ordered but found all dishes to have such great flavour. The food is very fresh and tasted very traditional in the way it was cooked. Ben and his team are really setting the standards for how customers should be treated whilst serving amazing food right here in wonderful Calgary. We will be back

We were celebrating an 80th birthday. Jeremy was very accommodating with our reservation and we were able to bring in a gluten free cupcake for the bday girl. There was only 3 of us and all our meals were absolutely delicious. However, our server Cailie was extremely inattentive. We had trouble to get just a water. She never offered any of us another wine, tea/coffee or dessert - even when she brought out the single cupcake we had brought in. Upselling is somewhat expected as a customer, but we certainly didn’t have to worry about that! Anyway, I would go again because it wasn’t my first time and I know the food is great and service is usually awesome as well. Tonight was just a big disappointment being I picked it myself for this special event.

A staple every time I go to Calgary. As a celiac I feel so safe here, staff always take time to make sure I understand what I can/cannot eat. I would say about 80 percent of the menu can be made gluten free including the fried chicken. It’s great to be able to share with friends and not sacrifice taste. Could not recommend more.

Our CSSC team enjoys coming to the brewhouse to socialize and have some grub after/before our games! The atmosphere is unmatched and the food specials are great! Love the wings and they have loads of options for those who need to avoid the Gluten - be sure to speak to the staff and they will always give great recommendations. Wing nights are a hit! I hear their monthly steak nights are really good, I have yet to go a try it out!

Magnificent, The experience is incredibly simple, with a massive ordering board, as it should be at a burger shop. Bravo! I ordered a gluten free double with cheese, lettuce tomato onion and their Clive sauce. The burgers were made to be juicy yet crispy on the edges, just how I like it. They did right by the CARE gluten free bun, as it should be the only valid option in Alberta for buns as they don't crumble and are nice and supple. The fries are from a dedicated gluten free fryer and are CRISPY. I decided to review them based on the fact that they took care of my dietary needs perfectly, and their hours run late, Wich to catch a gluten free bite after 9 on 17th Ave is seemingly impossible, this place hit the spot. The staff were friendly and took care to both ask me if gluten free is a preference or health need.

Paige was our waitress and she absolutely made our night. Very friendly, quick, and always came at the right time to fill our drinks. As well as not being able to consume gluten she made me feel very comfortable in ordering any one of the gluten friendly chooses knowing that it was going to be taken serious. Went to Joeys for a celebratory team night. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and taken care of. Both Jake and Ethan were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had all the water we could possibly dream of; the suggestions for both food and drink—sometimes off the menu—were stellar. I have celiac, so getting the suggestions for how to make my plate the best it can possibly be while also being safe for me was lovely. The molten lava cake is always my favourite.

Came here for brunch with the wife and as two people with serious allergies(gluten and dairy )dinning out can be very hard. But our server jade was so accommodating and recommended great food and drinks that we loved. The food and drinks came out very quick and were tasty. Very professional and friendly environment. I would NOT recommend this place. Had a gluten free waffle and it was cold and so dry I asked for a second tablespoon of syrup to choke it down. We got charged an extra 2 dollars for the tablespoon of syrup. Grossly overpriced for really second rate food. Next time will go local and Canadian. Would not even give one star! 🇨🇦

Such an awesome bar, restaurant, and place for live shows! The Pal offers the best in alt vibes and often has performances both up and downstairs. The patio is massive and you can't beat the eats! Celiac friends rejoice, most of the menu (including sides) is, or can be made, GF.

Honestly this is great Mexican food, much better and more authentic than Mucho Burrito. However, my stomach doesn’t agree with it at all. I have no allergies and I’m not gluten intolerant but I’ve had digestive issues and stomach pain both times after ordering here. I thought the first time was just a one off, but it happened again. A few hours after eating I get extremely gassy, and I have sharp pains in my lower abdomen that lasts for several hours. My assumption is that they don’t properly soak or cook the beans so there’s still toxins in them — not sure what else it would be that’s causing it.

I ordered takeout. I’ve done this often, as it was normally an okay spot for me to order food off of the GF menu. This last time was very different. There is no way my food was prepared in a gluten free manner. I haven’t been that sick in a very long time. I haven’t ever had an issue at this location before so this was very unexpected. I reached out to the location via their internal portal and got no reply. So I don’t think I’ll consider them a trusted spot to eat anymore. Very disappointed with the experience.

May 25. We enjoyed very nice cocktails here during happy hour 2 to 5. We also had lunch. Pizza was also included in the happy hour. They catered for gluten free as they had a separate fryer and also adapted the burger by serving it in lettuce instead of a bun.

Had a great experience here for dinner. Our server was so friendly, very professional, and made us feel welcome from the start. My partner is gluten-free, and their entire menu (except two items) are gluten-free. Knowing they are extremely cautious with it gave us a sense of comfort that my partner wasn't going to be worried about cross-contamination. Made the night even better. We had the brussel sprouts and chorizo to start and shared a gluten-free pizza as our main. Everything thing was top-notch. Highly recommend!!!

The food was a knock out of the park. Ordered the short rib and the lobster bennys and loved them both. All the staff were super accomodating and offered gluten-friendly subsititues. Definitly coming back (mostly for the korean style potatoes). Great brunch spot - would highly reccomend.

Our evening couldn’t have been better. Our server Carmen was professional, attentive and very personable. Our group of 6 included 1 who is celiac. Carmen was very knowledgeable and accommodating regarding celiac restrictions and made the dining experience stress free. Our food was, without exception, delicious, interesting, and hot. (Special mention to the unforgettable wok-fired calamari). We spent a very enjoyable evening at Saltlik and hope to be back for our next special occasion.

KAMA has to be one of the best restaurant's in Calgary. Javen and Noah do such a great job, they deliver amazing vibes and hospitality. The food is another level of freshness and quality, and the menu is actually mostly Gluten Free, with a dedicated Gluten Free fryer and no seed oils being used as well. I don't believe they advertise this much, but this restaurant would be a GF persons dream. I have never been disappointed with visit at KAMA. :)
