I do not have celiacs and am not gluten intolerant. The chicken strips are one of the best chicken I've had in my life, gluten-free or not. They were so moist yet crispy and crunchy; I would come back for just the chicken strips. But the beer too! My partner and I had three different kinds and loved all of them. If you're in the area, gluten-sensitive or not, stop in! It's amazing.

Bamboo Sushi is hands down one of my favorite spots in the city, their great food, service and atmosphere is pretty consistent. Also as a GLUTEN FREE girly I love feeling so safe and comfortable with the menu!

100 percent gluten free menu, and good drinks. They have taco specials, I picked the seafood option. The tacos were good, very fancy with the ingredients. I wish I had tried the meat tacos as well. The passion fruit margaritas was also good.

As someone with celiac I really appreciate a dedicated gluten free kitchen. However, the options here are underwhelming. Got the pulled pork fries, which are just fries, pulled pork, and a sauce. Would be much better if there were more ingredients for a little more flavor, and honestly I would hope for a little more for $15

We were sat at the sushi bar. It was incredible to watch the sushi chefs prepare each of the dishes ordered with such care. We got the miso soup, edamame, salmon and sea bream nigiri, and a Hana roll. The sea bream was so good we went for seconds and our sushi chef prepared it his favorite way with lemon and a special oil. Totally delicious. It’s a small, intimate space so I would say it is best for couples and small groups rather than larger groups. I have celiac and they were easily able to accommodate my dietary restriction.

The owner makes everything in house, down the mustard and ketchup. Each item is incredibly flavorful and custom. All items are clearly labeled with allergens, and there is a dedicated GF fryer. I have celiac disease and am very sensitive, I had no problems eating here. Highly recommend trying a mix of everything by way of the sides! Hands down best GF meal we’ve had out in Portland!

Absolutely amazing food! The burger was awesome the fries were on point. The chicken tenders were a little over cooked but lots of variety for gluten free options. The Marionberry lemonade is on point! I will definitely be back. Delicious food and great service! They even have an outdoor eating area.

This cute breakfast and lunch spot is awesome! Not only do they serve great food, their staff is amazing and you can tell they truly enjoy working there. They are a “tipless” restaurant because their menu prices reflect the higher pay they give their staff (which I think is great)! Our waitress was Ashley and she was seriously one of the TOP servers I have ever had at a restaurant. (We chose to leave her an additional tip, even though she insisted that we didn’t need to.) My daughter and I both have food allergies/intolerances, and Ashley looked at me and said, “We got you - I promise you we will take care of you and you won’t get sick!” They do a great job with food allergies (gluten free, dairy free, etc), and they do it all with a genuine smile. The food is also excellent, which adds to a great place to eat.

Discovered this place on Tik Tok by a previous guest. Placed this on my must do - to do list to come to when adventuring on my 10 day Oregon roadtrip. Very hard to find places that are “true healthy” restaurants when traveling. Stopped in solo 5-30-25 post breakfast hours but before lunch. Was greeted by Cash - SO NICE, great personality!!!! suggestions were made but ultimately I decided to have the Vegan “tuna” chickpea salad sandwich. I had already had breakfast but wanted a light lunch before going hiking. (Had kitchen cut in half for me to take remainder on my hike). Loved the bread (almost sure and hoping it was gluten free) that was toasted lightly but not so hard it was like a crouton. The side soup was a vegetable type soup. Wow! Seasonings were on point with the sandwich and the soup. Bathroom was clean. ONLY THING that had me sad was no souvenir sticker. I travel all over the US frequently and enjoy collecting stickers. I don’t need cups, shirts when traveling. Please consider getting stickers. If I ever come back to Portland area. Hands down you will have a repeat customer coming back. Thank you!!

We went with Verde Cocina as the caterers for our wedding and could not be more pleased with the decision. Literally everyone came up to us to rave above the food. Having the EVO grill there made for a fun addition to the reception and also really made people feel like they were getting the most fresh high quality food. The cocktails were grabbed up almost immediately. Our only regret there was not buying more cocktails. The first bite of crab cake we got after hours of photo taking and wedding stuff will go down as a top 5 bite of food i've ever had. the sentiments were shared by many. Verde Cocina being a gluten-free restaurant and being very sensitive/aware of dietary restrictions was such a massive relief for us and for guests. Arro(in charge of the catering) was so quick with communication, extremely personable, and made the menu selection process a real joy. He's also just a nice guy, by the time we'd actually gotten married he was so excited to say congrats. Probably more that could be said, but I would just say if you are still looking for a catering option, just contact them. It will be worth exploring.

Start to finish, Rangoon bistro was the most wonderful experience! Excellent customer service started with a helpful call about hours, dietary restrictions, etc., and carried through to friendly banter with the chefs over absolutely delectable dishes. The tea leaf salad and very large dumpling were the highlights of an all around delicious selection (and are both gluten free!). We live out of town, but may start making the trip to Portland more regularly to try new items on the rotating menu! Thanks to everyone at Rangoon Bistro for an unforgettable evening!

Crispy, seasoned tenders, no gluten, great fries, killer slaw, just the total package and it's awfully close to Raising Cane's quality. But you can have it with a beer outside and go get carne asada fries after. You want this. Don't keep your side chicks a secret.

Choosing to sit in the bar area during a busy, rainy Saturday was the right move. We were able to immediately get a seat and service was fast despite how busy they were. I tried their gluten free beer and it was really good - so many others are terrible. My husband loves their IPAs so he was in heaven.

Vegan celiac here! I’m lucky Red Robin is my husband’s favorite restaurant, because they always know how to make sure I eat well and safely. Shout out to our server Hana for tonight’s dinner! The fact that this place does gluten free fried chicken with a DEDICATED FRYER has me hooked. I love having that knowledge that this space will be somewhere I can safely eat without worry! Delicious chicken cooked in a great sauce. Quick service for a Saturday afternoon as well. Very happy about that! Space inside is pretty small, so I definitely recommend opting to sit outside. The burger was cooked to medium, and was very juicy. Cocktails were also excellent. This place has a great happy hour menu as well if you find yourself searching the more budget friendly option. So many gluten free options to chose from on this menu, I would definitely recommend!

This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Everything was marvelously flavorful, with just the right blend of spice. The papusas were piping hot and perfectly crispy. The chicken strips were almost too good to be true, it was hard to believe they were gluten free, but Denise reassured me that everything was gluten free :D If I could put more than five stars I would!

I was skeptical because I thought this would be asian cuisine (I'm sometimes intimidated by asian ingredients and sauces) but it turned out to be the same food I am used to, just with a subtle twist. I was unsure about the "Yumm sauce" even after the nice employee described it to be so he gave me a sample. It was great! It reminds me of a subtle tangy sauce, like tomatillo without the spice. The other ingredients were exactly what was detailed on the menu, and were very fresh. The flavors came together deliciously! In addition, there are many gluten free options and what the celiac in our party ordered did not cause her to get sick.

I was in town visiting a friend who has a severe gluten allergy and I found Bamboo Sushi on the gluten free app. Looked into it and made a reservation. Informed the server of the allergy and she said there were only 2 items with gluten. One was the burger but could likely be substituted with lettuce instead of the bun and another was an option garnish. Even the tempura is gluten free which is very rare. We decided to get Wasabi Honey Chicken and Smashed Avocado crispy rice as an appetizer. The chicken was really good, had some heat/spiciness, but excellent flavor. The Smashed Avocado crispy rice was really good too but we both liked the chicken more. She got the Unicorn sushi and asked for eel sauce, and I went with the green machine which is vegetarian and asked for spicy aioli. We both really enjoyed the food and we ended with the Matcha panna Cotta. I'm not a fan of matcha so it wasn't for me, but she really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the food so much we came back 2 nights later with her Aunt and ordered chicken karaage for an appetizer (no picture). She got the garden of Eden Sushi and the Friday the 13th sushi and enjoyed both but I think she likes the Friday the 13th better. I got the chili garlic chicken with steamed rice which was very tasty. And her Aunt got the grilled octopus (no picture) and said it too was delicious. Highly recommend checking Bamboo Sushi out. It's a small restaurant and can be a little cramped but the food is delicious!

We brought my nephews (8 and 11) to play games. They had a blast, and so did we! Awesome service, and really nice staff helped the boys pick games to play. Our server was super helpful. The ordering system is easy to navigate, and allows for very customized orders. Lots of options for gluten free and vegan. Nut free wasn't an issue either. Food is delicious. Coffee is Stumptown (yum!), seating is comfortable, vibe is warm and inviting. Lots of cool games to borrow, and a whole game shop to buy from. I already have plans to come back with some friends!

We came here specifically came here for the gluten free buns. My daughter has celiac, we made it very clear her burger had to be on a gluten free bun, and paid the 1$ extra. Her burger was not on a gluten free bun. Don’t come here if you have celiac, I don’t know why you guys would carry gluten free products if you guys don’t take it seriously. The fry’s were really small portion as well for being 4$ and extremely salty. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had the pleasure of dining at G-Love today, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Waiter asked for any dietary restrictions, let her know I was gluten free and dairy free, came back with a menu of what were yes’s, no’s, and moderate’s. I’ve never had any restaurant do that for me. So I was extremely thankful for that! The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the pork skewers, the avocado plate, and the broccoli, which was cooked to perfection and had a delightful blend of spices. Amazing chicken with perfectly flavored and crisp skin & juicy meat. On any other dish the perfectly crispy potatoes would be the star but the chicken steals the show. I get the quarter chicken with potatoes (guns) and a fried egg, it's soooo good! The staff are super nice and make sure i know what's safe and not for my allergies, everything is gluten free and almost everything is dairy free.
