Super good ice cream shop!! Very varied and particular flavors but above all there were many lactose-free flavors and gluten-free cones. A little small and consequently there was a bit of a queue, but it's worth it.

Good food, pasta too raw, the waitress not very kind, which is understandable given that she is alone. They didn't have the entire menu available, because not all the employees were there. They say they have gluten-free pizza but I was asked how allergic I was and if I really am celiac, since they deal with gluten-free food I expect them to know that being celiac is not an allergy but an intolerance. Plus I was told that gluten-free pizza isn't really gluten-free because it's baked in the same oven as the ones with gluten. I find that saying you have gluten-free food but that the pizza isn't really gluten-free is really risky. I hope for urgent checks.

This restaurant is excellent, first of all the welcome; the servers are extremely kind and helpful, explaining the menu with photos. They also speak several languages, including French. The setting is incredible, with a breathtaking view of the lake. As for the food, it's the best meal I've had in Italy so far; truly exquisite. I recommend the risotto, a true explosion of flavor. NB: They even make gluten-free pizzas.

I had dinner this evening with my family and my 2 year old son, having a seat at the table with an open kitchen he was completely charmed and entertained by their work! The chef gave him a hat and he was also given the chance to come in and see the kitchen. Exciting and transmitting one's passion is also this, my son had a really good time. Good option for celiacs. They adapt several dishes to be gluten-free. Delicious food. The service was terrible, we were served by a waiter who didn't speak, just shook his head. Unusual. The girl at the bar is very friendly, but the waiters leave a lot to be desired. They charge covered even for children under 6 years old. Strange.

Stopped by to look at the menu, and the hostess was wonderful and very friendly. I need gluten free. We were seated and had a terrific waitress. Kate took very good care of us. Explained all we needed to know.. a major plus was she brought out warm gluten free bread! A big huge thank you to Kate. And the hostess. I wish we were staying longer as we would be back. The gluten free pasta was like rubber. Do not go here if you need gluten-free. Then the staff just left my untouched food sitting on the table despite cleaning everything else and offering coffee. They clearly don’t care about their service or quality of food. It is also over priced as you pay for location which would be fine if you could eat!

15 minutes for a gluten-free burger that is frozen and packaged. I do not recommend for celiacs. It's like eating gum. Disgusting. Much better at McDonalds in Lugano, for example. The site is old. They do not have screens to see the order number.

I stopped for lunch during my visit to the city of Como, in this place which is located a 5 minute walk from the Duomo. It was recommended to me for attention to intolerances such as celiac disease. I must say I had a good time trying an excellent risotto. They also have some gluten-free desserts, I had a creme brulèe. The very welcoming environment overlooks a courtyard that certainly deserves to be enjoyed in good weather. Ditto, it's worth going back to try one of the mega salads they serve

The staff were very friendly and the food was well balanced. We had the Van Gogh and Huxley burgers in a gluten free bun and both were nice in flavours, the patty could have had some more salt but thats it. The place had a nice positive vibe and the seating area was comfy. We tried both chocolate and almond cake which were delicious. The chocolate cake was rich and the almond cake was refreshing. The latte machiato with oat milk was also delicious. So glad to have visited - will highly recommend to others and will re visit next time we are in Como.

If you want to eat Mexican go to Mexico but not to the tourist villages, if you can't go to Mexico because it's not around the corner then you can go to Como! Much more convenient and easy to reach, and don't worry the tastes and flavors are the same! Fine cuisine, true Mexican menu and not altered or revisited. One of the owners told us that to make tacos de birria, there is a large pot with beef that cooks for well over six long hours! I'm happy with it because 90% of the dishes are completely gluten free, and for celiacs like me it's really useful to combine flavour, taste and the desire to be fully satisfied without thinking about the problems of the following hours. I only had to avoid the churros because the attentive owner does not guarantee the absence of gluten contamination in the oil, highly appreciated advice for customers like me. Obviously there is gluten-free beer

A real surprise! Very charming place, you will feel you've been thrown back in history and at one point you will even wonder if you really are in Como 😉 or where else in the world! Amazing cocktails, everything is FRESH just like the name, very friendly staff, excellent English! Charming music and lights .. I would recommend it for a romantic date! We stopped only for an Aperitif and it was prepared with lots of care. For 14€ each we got a cocktail and 2 serves of finger food. Vegetarian and GF options available. A real surprise! In the center of Como, a unique and stylish place! After a few minutes you wonder if you ended up somewhere else in the world 😅 From the music to the decor, everything was perfect! The waiters are very well trained, excellent English. Everything is FRESH here, like the name and the cocktails.. unique! We only stopped for an aperitif, with €14 we enjoyed an excellent cocktail and two portions of Finger Food each. Alternatives available for vegetarians and gluten-free. Super recommended for a romantic date 😉

TRADITION, QUALITY AND REFINEMENT First of all, many will wonder what a bistro is and how it differs from a restaurant. A bistro is essentially a small restaurant (or, by origin, a tavern) where you can taste typical dishes at prices a little lower than those of real restaurants. In the bistros you can also simply sit down to have a drink or a coffee, just like what happened in the French bistros of the past. In the past, many artists and writers took refuge in bistros to create their masterpieces, since they didn't have the money to heat the houses or rooms they lived in. Having said that, during a trip out of town we decided to choose Bistrot Muralto for our lunch. The interior is characterized by bright windows and small wooden furnishings: it seems that time has really stopped. The outside has tables in the sun and in the shade which reflect the style of the internal rooms. The cuisine is supervised by chef Davide Grosso and includes excellent quality local ingredients. Few courses but not at all banal, which transport you to an affordable but extremely refined culinary experience. Vegan and gluten-free specialties for each course, absolutely not to be underestimated. The bread, obviously free, is produced at home and is served in practical paper bags. The portions of the dishes are not abundant, but quality comes first. The bathroom reserved for customers is clean, very spacious and has a sink both inside the bathroom and in the entrance preceding it. However, the visit was missing paper towels or hand drying devices: a shame, especially given the times we are living in. The staff is friendly, attentive to detail and available to explain the origin of the dishes. The bistro has maintained traditions: prices are very competitive compared to other competitors in the historic center. The cover charge is €2 per person. An appetizer, two first courses, two desserts, two sparkling waters and two place settings cost €52. Advised!
