We had dinner last night, excellent food and service. I have big problems with gluten, the professionalism encountered only deserves my huge thanks, because for those like me who are ill, they feel out of place almost everywhere, as if it were a fault to have a problem. Thank you very much, I truly ate the amazing tigelle peacefully, and for once I felt like all the other guests. I can't give you more than 5 stars, but no one can take away a SUPER 5 stars. FANTASTIC

The menu is amazing. They serve you everything, from meat and fish, different salads, typical italian dishes, noodles to an immense choice of different pizzas. Also they serve you every pizza in gluten free and wholewheat. In our five- day- stay in Italy, we ate twice there (dinner) and it was scrumptious and fantastic. The service is great and fast. Nothing to complain about.

My family spent a week in Italy (Florence and at Lake Garda/Desenzano) and our first dinner at Al Portico was so fantastic and the experience at this family owned restaurant so delightful that we had to go back. The second meal was even better as we felt like we were having a Sunday family dinner in Naples! They were also incredibly helpful around our gluten sensitivity issues as well. I highly recommend having a meal here when in Desenzano!
