We came into the lounge yesterday as a walk in of 6. Although they were extremely busy we were greeted at the door with smiles and informed of what to do and the fact there was a wait on food. They also asked for our dietary requirements which was superb as im gluten free. They seated us promptly at a clean table which was a nice surprise in such a busy place. We ordered our food and drink at the bar as suggested by the app due to my gluten allergy. We were informed by the girl ar the bar that she wasn't able to take the order but she would get her manager to take the order. Within a matter of a few seconds both the manager and the girl was back. He proceeded to take our order looking after mine first and read it all back to make sure it was correct. Drinks arrived promptly and we enjoyed the atmosphere whilst waiting. We were informed of how long our food was going to take at every available moment. The manager himself took the opportunity to make sure we were okay with everything whilst waiting. He also brought my gluten free food first which was another surprise as I often am left last to eat. All members of staff who were on tonight should be proud of themselves. I never once saw a drop in service even across other tables and it was nice still being interacted with. The food was also impeccable, with being a chef myself I know what it's like in a hot kitchen especially when it's busy so we'll done chefs! Last I want a special mention to the manger himself. He was always doing something but made sure we weren't forgotten and it made the experience 10 times better. We will be back!

Fantastic find that they offer gluten free fish n chips. I also had the sudden salad & it was huge!! Wish I lived local. Love the old fashioned booths too, nice charm & lots of staff too (a rare find these days)

Food ok Service not great . A lot of rushing around and not attentive at all. Wouldn’t change gluten free bread on any dishes. Tables left with dirty plates , difficult to get someone’s attention, shell found in our breakfast but nobody came to us for a mid meal check back. Shame really as it’s a very lovey looking cafe but won’t rush back.

We come here every week as they do gluten-free and it is superb value. The staff are all great as well. It's obviously a well liked place as they are always busy. Don't forget that there is seating downstairs.

Went with my mum, we decided to go based on how amazing and fresh the food looked online and it didn't disappoint. I eat gluten free, I was catered for and even better, the gf bread they use isn't the sort that turns to a dusty mush, so that was nice. We both had soy lattes and they were so creamy. We'll go back.

I’m gluten intolerant and I’ve never seen a non-chain takeaway pizza place to have gluten free bases. The gluten free pizza was absolutely amazing. It looked like a wheat base and had the lovely crusty chewy crust like one. This was defo home made. No Schar frozen base in sight (shame on you Domino’s!). I’d died and gone to heaven! If only you had a place in Derby. First place I’ll be visiting when I return to Scarborough.

Absolutely brilliant place - the service is excellent and the food was really good. They are super switched on around allergens etc. and the Gluten Free burger was one of the best we'd had, even had GF beers to wash it down with. Would highly recommend.

Lovely staff, lady we.think her name was Morgan, very friendly polite and professional, all other staff also attentive. Very good with vegan and gluten-free options as in Scarborough it's difficult to find, but at Askims they were thorough and careful with my dietary requirements. We would definitely recommend 👌

This place is the best ,my husband is gluten free and his fish and chips he said was lovely , both our meals come out the same time and my husbands was labelled gluten free so did not get mixed up , the staff are lovely too even filled our teapot up again for us will definitely be calling again

Lovely cafe situated just off the main streets in the centre of Scarborough town centre. Really worth a visit as the food here is amazing! I'm coeliac and they were able to cater gluten free for me- I was advised all options on the menu except two could be adapted to be gluten free for me which was brilliant! Food tasted amazing (the gluten free option pic is the halloumi wrap which was done on a gluten free ciabatta roll instead) and tasted amazing! Didn't stay to try the cakes unfortunately but there was a gluten free lemon drizzle on offer!

Brilliant, booked a table for Sunday roast. Food was fantastic and so rare for my wife who is Coeliac to get a full gluten free roast to include the gravy and obligatory yorkshire pudding. Staff were great too. Excellent.

We ate at Cafe Fish for the first time last night and it was just fantastic. As a coeliac, eating out can sometimes be a bit of a trial, so being able to choose from such an extensive GF menu absolutely delighted me. All four of our dishes looked great and tasted amazing. Visited here as a family with my mum who is coeliac. Staff were all lovely and polite. Service was very prompt and our order was right to the tee. The food was all lovely especially my mums gluten-free burger. We eat regularly at a lot of marstons as they have an extensive gluten free menu and my mum said this was the best she had ever had. The chef even came out personally to check everything was too our liking. Nothing seemed to be too much at all. Can’t fault it. Definitely be coming back

Really nice takeaway, very quick service and good prices. Due to covid-19 we wanted to help out independent places to make sure they are still around In the future. Staff in the shop were all friendly, chatty and helpful. Food tastes nice and was a good portion size. They also stock gluten-free and vegan options too. Have a great choice of items on the menu including, homemade cakes, drinks, nachos, burritos and meals deals. Only down side is that they don't take card, so make sure you have cash with you. If you love Mexican food then this is the takeaway for you.

This is the 4th time we have come here and everytime its spot on. Food is so tasty 😋 staff are so friendly and want to make you happy. This time we took my mother-in-law who is gluten free and has not had a curry in 7 years and she really enjoyed, they accommodated for her needs and she had full choice to choose a curry she wanted, Best curry in scarborough and never disappoints. Myself, daughter and my Mum and Dad visited on the 24th of july, The place had just had a huge influx of drinkers and eaters! We were advised of the long wait but chose to stay and so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and apologetic of the wait. The food we ordered was good with no complaints especially the fact I could have gluten free fish and chips! We returned on the 28th of July with immediate greeting from the Manager who thanked us again for our understanding of the previous visit. It was so nice to be recognised! Again we enjoyed a good meal and really appreciate the staff at the Rosette. It was a nice part of our weeks holiday in Scalby/scarborough Many thanks!
