Went with a friend for a late lunch. Had the gluten-free tapas deal (6 plates for £27) with a couple of drinks - just over £33 for the two of us. Nice atmosphere and food very good, although some of the dishes may be a touch fiery for some tastes. Nice to find another decent eatery...

We had a chilled and great late dinner at Zizzi, served by the friendly and lovely Darina. We are both gluten free and were advised about limitations, like they only have one pizza oven but then do their best to keep gluten free separate. We had our favourite king prawn skewers as a starter and our gluten free pizzas were exceptionally cooked. Would highly recommend Zizzi and especially Darina if you are lucky enough to have her as your waitress.

I had a great experience here - as a solo diner at the bar. The bar staff were so kind and made me feel very comfortable. I’m very gluten intolerant and they have a menu specially for allergens, which was such a bonus. The food was great, definitely recommend 🌟

The service this time was not that great, probably due to a young inexperienced fellow, which brought a salary with gluten to the table for someone with coeliac after we mentioned this allergy/intolerance.

I loved Wagamama as I'm a celiac and they have a separate menu, but the last two times I've now gone I've raisukaree and the spring onions were NOT finely sliced they were long and soggy, the peppers were all green bar one small piece, and there wasn't much sauce. So I had left them both and half the rice. As no sauce to help the dry rice go down. The waitress did check to see if it was spring onion and it was. My husband's meal had them thinly sliced so I know it's possible. I know the green peppers is a me thing which I wouldn't mind if the rest of the meal was okay. The starter was good tho. Just ashame I won't be able to have this curry again

I attended slug and lettuce for a meal with my friend but it was unfortunately cut short. I made the waiter aware that I am a coeliac but shortly after eating me meal I came to realisation that it was cross contaminated hugely. I fell sick not long after finishing my meal and there for had to leave. No care was taken into consideration when making the meal

The most beautiful tea room , such friendly staff, we had a high tea for my daughters 18th birthday, they made it so special for her and being gluten free myself, nothing was to much trouble. Food was absolutely delicious !! See you again very soon x

This new menu which was introduced a month ago is Not good. There was no selection in the main courses for any fish dishes, a good selection of salads nor any light dishes. Most of us had to choose two starter dishes instead which were mainly made up of bread. The last straw was when our table was cleared away and we were not offered any desserts. One of my friends could only eat gluten free food and could not be reassured by the staff that there could be no guarantee that her food would not be cross contaminated. The prices of your menu had gone up substantally.

I was so impressed by the variety of food available on the gluten free menu. Absolutely recommend for those that can’t eat gluten. Brilliant salt and pepper fried squid and prawns (although I did find the seasoning a bit too salty) and delicious mains. Very rich and hearty. They know how to cook seafood perfectly!😋 We will definitely be visiting again next time we go to Portsmouth

It was just a massive disaster. We ordered for them to come over and say they didn’t have the regular pizza bases (ON A SATURDAY NIGHT) 3 of our party are vegan and they don’t offer another vegan base apart from gluten free (very poor). After ordering they said they won’t be able to refund anything because of the “new paying method” (what kind of rubbish is that). They weren’t able to make any other suggestions apart from the gluten free base so they settled for it. THEN food starts to come out, food that wasn’t ordered, all in a different orders etc in the meantime 3 pizzas came out that were said for this table however they weren’t ordered which our waitress who we couldn’t fault and was a superstar took back to the kitchen which were definitely now just to be chucked in the bin. She brought a double of one of the big sharing pizzas out that was then going back to kitchen to be chucked. So the issue was they weren’t going to upgrade the vegan pizza as it was too big a price difference but proceeded to bring wrong pizzas that are now wasted. Many other items of our orders were missing etc etc. the manager the whole time never once showed her face and left the poor waitress Lou to deal with everything and it was such bad management from her, how she is a manager is beyond me! Overall never again will any of us be visiting and the manager needs sacking and they need to give it to Lou as she held the place together.
