We just tried Maepole for the first time, and WOW!! Their slogan is so accurate: Healthy comfort food. Everything was delicious!! I had the braised cabbage with rice and tofu. AMAZING! I love Thai food. Love it! As a person with Celiac, Pad Thai is an extremely reliable option. I normally eat Indian at a 3 on a scale of 1-5, so when they presented me with the options of 1,2,3,and Thai Spice, I felt very confident in a 2. When I opened the box when I got home and it was red, I was a little worried. When I started eating it, and I had to pour coffee creamer on it in an attempt to cool it down and STILL couldn’t eat it, and had to throw 2/3 of it away, that is just insane. I’m so upset with the spice levels and do not understand why it varies so much from place to place. I hate that I couldn’t eat my dinner, and that I wasted $16 on food I can’t eat. I hope this changes for the future.

I love Trader Joe’s. I absolutely do NOT love the gluten free four cheese mac and cheese. I’ve never smelt or tasted anything remotely close to this matter. It was like rock and dirt soup. It was so bad I spoon fed a bite to my roommate while she was in bed. She got up- naked- sprinted to the bathroom and gagged it up. I placed the box in the trash. My friend came in and I got the box from the top of the trash and force fed her a fraction of a noodle. My roommate saw the box- immediately had a panic attack. She started screaming like I’ve never heard. She could not be within a 10 foot proximity of this food. Don’t buy it.

They seemed to be having a ton of trouble with order accuracy. Three ladies who ordered prior to me had problems with the subs that they ordered and had them fixed. Then I had ordered a gluten free sub which they made with normal white bread which they charged me for a second time in order to get the correct sub. On top of that neither of their sprite fountains were working which I told the cashier of and they never bothered to correct it.
