We have been to this Poughkeepsie location twice now and Kellie was our waitress both times. She is amazing. It was extremely busy today and you wouldn’t know it on how attentive she was. I have many food allergies- garlic and onions I am anaphylactic to plus gluten free and they kept me safe and the food was delish. I recommend eating here for those with allergies or not.
This vibrant spot offers an exciting mix of flavors with unique dishes like arepas and mouthwatering empanadas, perfect for any craving!

I have a severe gluten allergy. In August I ordered a salad, specified my allergy in the allergy request section, AND specified my allergy again in the notes section of Uber Eats. My salad arrived with croutons buried in the middle of it. If I had not caught it, I would have been sick for days or in an extreme case, in the hospital. When I called, the person who answered the phone was polite, but seemed lost on what to do or how to rectify the situation other than advising me to refund it through the app. I felt compelled to leave this review after seeing someone else had experienced similar issue as well. It’s hard enough trying to order out while being gluten free. This is very disappointing from an establishment that seemed to be a great option for people with gluten allergies or celiac. I have not felt safe to order from this establishment again because of the severity of my allergy.
Exceptional service makes for a memorable dining experience, with attentive staff ensuring a comfortable atmosphere.

First of all, the service was phenomenal. When I ordered ahead, but messed up the order (I was supposed to order from the gluten free menu) I went in to see if there was anything I could do. To be honest, I thought I was screwed, but an employee named Cecilia was extremely welcoming and worked to fix my mistake immediately. She was incredibly kind and helpful, even though it was New Year’s Eve! It doesn’t hurt that the food was pretty good too. Thank you Cecilia!

Came here for takeout for our Christmas Eve tradition because I recently got a gluten-free diagnosis. They can make a ton of the menu gluten free, you just have to ask but they were really nice showing us what the options were and answering all my questions. It seemed like any of the chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables they could make with a gluten free version of the sauce, plus fried rice and chow mei fun.
We got:
General Tso’s chicken
Hunan bean curd with vegetables
Chicken and eggplant
Chow mei fun Singapore noodles
And brown rice!
They marked everything for us and had it ready in 15 minutes. It tasted great and I feel great too!
There are some tables in case you want to eat there, but it’s primarily a take out spot.
A cozy spot with a charming vibe, perfect for celebrations, but be ready for a wait on busy nights due to its popularity and limited space.

Came here to celebrate my 25th birthday. They are the only place in the area I trusted, we’ve celebrated family birthdays here, and have been coming since they opened. They ensured everything ran smoothly and was properly communicated. Jenn, our waitress, was amazing! The food was delicious as always, everyone was satisfied with there meals and had enough to take home. Restaurant is celiac disease friendly which is very important since my mom is highly allergic, there was no cross contamination and everything was handled with care! They ensured to provide me with the coquito cheesecake I requested. The restaurant was clean and so beautiful. Couldn’t be happier with how it went ! Thank you to the whole team in ensuring my night was amazing
Accidentally found a hidden gem with a cozy vibe, outstanding service, and authentic flavors that transport you straight to Vietnam.

Stumbled in by accident and fell in love with this place. Options on the menu are plenty and delicious. The hostess recommended we try spring rolls and even adjusted the ingredients due to dietary restrictions. That was so nice. I asked for coffee with egg yolk (it wasn’t on the menu) and they indulged my craving and made it! That is top notch service 🥰
They could use a bit change in the interior of the restaurant but it might make it too popular and too crowded lol
I also ordered the beef With lemongrass and rice. The taste is so clean, with all the flavors working in harmony together. It’s my top recommendation to try.
Also Recommend this place to vegans, vegetarians and celiacs. Next time I’ll try the rice wines they have.
A fantastic spot with a lovely outdoor patio, perfect for large gatherings, where everyone can enjoy a memorable evening together.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Alex, the staff and food were for the rehearsal dinner for my daughters wedding. The entire staff went above and beyond for our group of 75! They kept in mind our 2 celiac attendees and made sure they had gluten-free pasta and plenty of veggies. Our immuno-compromised couple enjoyed an intimate dinner outside on the patio with Selma making sure they had everything the needed without them having to come inside. Everyone raved about the food and the atmosphere. It was the perfect venue for us to kick off the wedding weekend!
A hidden gem with delightful meals that impress with unexpected touches, perfect for a memorable takeout experience.

Their gluten free food is SO GOOD. We’ve passed this place on 9 for years and never got to try it, but now that I found and tried their gluten free food, I will be returning. My husband and I ordered our Friday dinner to-go from here. He had the GF chicken Marsala and I had the GF chicken Francese and they were both delicious. I love that it comes with gluten free pasta and I wasn’t expecting the little garlic rolls but I so appreciate the effort they put into these meals!
Food is pretty decent, I wish they had gluten free bread and pasta.
Resturants need to understand that gluten free is a very real allergie and serve more options . There is very larg amount of peaple who suffer from it.🙄

Looooved it!!
I usually don't post comments about food from restaurants but dining here is an experience. From the food, to the staff, to the music... everything reminded me of my visit to Jamaica. Already making plans to return and bring my friends.

Gluten Free Bacon Egg and Cheese! Let’s goooo!!
It’s hard finding a deli that offers gluten free bread, for obvious reasons and I get it. BUT it’s so nice to order a breakfast sandwich to enjoy with the rest of my family!!!
Sometimes they run out of buns after the morning rush, so be sure to plan ahead and don’t wait if you can help it!
The staff has always been so kind and helpful. There are a few tables to sit at, but I usually just order stuff to-go. Plenty of parking in front and near by.
Super expansive menu!
Creative specials and a massive signature sandwich make this cozy spot a must-visit, plus an outdoor patio is on the way!

Ok, I can't say enough about how wonderful The Hog is. We go there all the time and are always happy! Along with their regular menu, Adam, chef, and co-owner is always coming up with specials that are creative and delicious. They won Best Fried Chicken in the Hudson Valley, deservedly so. Their signature sandwich is the OG Birdie; a humongous fried chicken breast served on a bun with lettuce, pickle, and buttermilk mayo. You have an option to add a "hot bath," dipping the Birdie into various flavored baths. Breakfast is also a favorite there, with the Egg Man Platter being my favorite. They have many gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. Don't forget to try their coffee! Adam and his wife Corrine have created a gem in the village. Make sure to stop by! BTW, an outdoor patio will be available soon!

They make a small amount of hot food daily that is gluten free. Plus they will accommodate my dietary restriction. Anything that's a sandwich they can make into a small plate. Avoiding the gluten portion. They are friendly, quick, and provide tasty food. This is my family's go to place for multiple food options.
I’ve been loyal to the same pizza place for years; Then Giovanni’s opened up near my office. Kenny is almost always behind the counter, greeting everyone with a smile. The pizza is to die for, and they have something for everyone. Classic things like white pizza and spinach rolls are anything but average, and they have some inventive specialty pizzas (Chicken Francese and Lasagna to name a few.) Giovanni’s also makes gluten free pies, for those who need them!
Impressive options with a surprising twist, plus super quick service that keeps you coming back for more!

I called hoping they might have a gluten free pizza option and they did! And it was so good we couldn’t really tell which pie of the two we ordered was GF! They should definitely mention more prominently on the menu that they have this option as I think many people would be happy to know. Also, my order was ready so quickly, which we really appreciated.
Great store!! This place has everything you can think of with incredibly reasonable prices. The store is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a great bakery selection. They have a decent selection of gluten free items (even frozen foods) which is great. This is a great place to shop if you have a large family or are having a party.

Absolutely an amazing experience eating here during brunch. The staff were more than attentive to my guest and my mother for her birthday brunch. The music and food were fantastic. They even have gluten free and dairy free options which are hard to come by.

I had Braised pies on multiple occasions. The absolute perfect item is the sausage roll.
I wish the rest of the menu I have tried thus far was more consistent. I had the Shepherd's pie and it was delicious, but the potatoes were slightly dry.
The chicken pot pie was overly salted. The salt was overwhelming to the point of not being able to eat it. I’m unsure if this was simply a difference of taste given they are authentically British in approach.
The shop is lovely and the staff are so helpful, answering all my questions and advising on heating after thawing to properly cook items. They also have some delicious looking pastries that I honestly regret not buying, so I’ll have to return to try them out.
Update: the gluten free brisket and Mac and cheese sweet heat pie was perfect! If you can snap it up with the gluten crust do it! I didn’t realize it was gf and missed the crust.
