I came in last week. We ordered food and dessert, which was really great. Everything that was ordered was made correctly and efficiently. My favorite dessert is the chocolate decadence flourless cake.
The only downside was our server Mimi seemed pretty dismissive. When we asked her specific questions about the food items we ordered (because I’m gluten free) it seemed like she was irritated and rolled her eyes. Overall it was an okay experience. Definitely great prices for the food you get.

I really liked the place it was super cozy. I asked for almond milk since I have a gluten and dairy allergy and she made it with oat milk and then MY COUSIN CAUGHT THE MISTAKE AND THEN SHE changed it to almond milk . I went down to ask for vanilla for flavor and sweetness they gave me vanilla extract and didn't say anything to me . I still liked the place and I would give it a try when I visit again.

This is my safe food place for when my stomach hurts haha. The ingredients are natural and chicken and rice are easy on the stomach. I'm gluten free and their teriyaki sauce is delicious, I usually ask for an extra cup of it. Easy parking and friendly employees.
A bustling spot loved for its unique pasta offerings and lively atmosphere, but can get a bit too loud and crowded for comfort.

The staff were bull and didn't get me what I wanted and I'm gluten free so I ordered the gluten free Alfredo and they had no more and so they gave m e some dumb sauce and meat balls and they wouldn't give me the non gluten free Alfredo.like how do you run out of pasta because it doesn't mold so why not just stock pile it like are you stupid

I was searching for a place this morning where I could order some dessert/pastries today for my brother’s birthday who has celiac. With the limited information on the website about what bakery items are offered, I called to ask if they had anything that could work in my situation as I lack the experience and knowledge in this capacity. Boy, if I didn’t feel stupid before I asked the person who answered the phone I do now. Each time I tried to explain that I understand her saying they’re not 100% gluten free and that’s not what I’m trying to ask, she’d cut me off to continue repeating this sentence in different ways and how I could make them a liability in promising that. I felt shameful about having even called. Realizing the interaction was based on power and assumption rather than hearing what I was trying to explain, I just ended the call thanking her for her help.
If you market your business and your products as inclusive, I’m guessing that your core values are based on the same principles which must translate through your team on to your customers. Hopefully this experience, if anything, can be used as an opportunity for training team members in the future.

I came here with a friend to hang out, we overall had an amazing time, and the drinks were some of the best we've ever had!
Me and my friend group would love to use this as our hangout spot.
Even better about this place is that most of their treats are gluten free or vegan.
This place is one of my new favourites. Will definitely be back!

Super friendly and incredibly fast and attentive service. Absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation-best avocado toast I’ve had in a while and I love that they brought and entire pot when I ordered green tea. Thrilled that they have a good gluten free toast option too-and it was excellent!!

Made reservations on a Friday early evening. Wasn't busy and the perfect time to go for a date night. Everything about our experience was great. The food was amazing, the server was great and everything was so clean inside. They have gluten free options, including pasta, and a nice wine selection. We both got pasta dishes and both were so good. We got a salad to share, I got the Linguine with lobster and shrimp, and my wife got the GF Rigatoni. Highly recommend. We'll definitely come again to try something different.
Experience hearty portions that leave you satisfied, with a vibe that keeps food lovers coming back for more.

The food was G R E A T ! ! ! Have gone there 6 times! I am gluten intolerant and their buns are worth cheating for! Not much is! Got some Gargantuan's and it was enough meat for four gluten free buns! I think their prices are reasonable!

While probably not as good as the hype around it suggests, Matteo is a good Italian restaurant for SLC and in a great location. A few comments on the food and service:
1- the service (while a bit slow…was excellent).
2- the pastas, lasagna, risotto, and even the pollo dish are all good, but not great. Sicilia Mia is likely better.
3- The Cesar salad is great…and huge. Definitely a shared salad.
4- Excellent gluten free pasta noodle. I need to figure out where they are getting it. They use a noodle that is quinoa and brown rice and it was both delicious and perfectly cooked.
5- The panna cotta and the lemoncello bread pudding aren’t good and I would suggest skipping entirely. The best panna cotta (by a wide margin) along the Wasatch Front is at Maestra in American Fork.
6-The whipped Brie is excellent and worth getting to share as an appetizer. This has so much buzz, and was the best thing we ate
The GF rolls were good too (though not great).
Overall, I’d
A spot with well-priced, satisfying servings, stunning décor that matches its cool building, all set in an epic neighborhood.

Amazing lobster rolls - seriously, so good! Fantastic staff too. They have gluten free options and are conscientious about avoiding cross-contamination for people with celiac disease.
Been going here for decades, Three different address changes. Why? Best damn pizza in Utah, fabulous garlic roles and delivered to my car parked out in front of their store. And they have excellent gluten free crust on request.
This spot stands out for generous toppings and seasonings, perfect for a laid-back afternoon with friends enjoying delicious sandwiches.

I love their food especially since they have gluten free and they're good with it. But this time me and my family stopped after an event and my mom ordered and their roast beef looked questionable like very dark and not normal so she asked them about it they said it was normal so she was eating the sandwich but they didn't make it the right way so she told them and asked for no roast beef and for it to be remade since it's a complete different sandwich and one of the girls was pretty friendly and handled it well but the other one talked behind my mom's back and I watched her do it. She would mumble under her breath while glaring at my mom and throwing around her food and being aggressive while making it and then talking behind her back to her coworker. Me and my mom were taken a back as to why she would act like that when there was no reason since it was on them and my mom just wanted good food. I regret giving them a tip because they didn't deserve it for how they treated my mom. The other locations I go to are perfectly fine but this one I don't know what is wrong with them but they shouldn't act out on customers
Helpful suggestions, excellent dishes, ample portions, and great prices make this spot a solid choice for a satisfying meal.

Our server was very helpful when suggesting gluten-free options. We ordered vegetable lettuce wraps and fried rice. The food was excellent, the portions were substantial, and the prices were very reasonable.

Corn is in their name, so get the corn-based thing. I’m a huge fan of their enchiladas, their chips and most everything. The dishes are huge and the fillings are excellent. Most options are gluten free.
Reggaeton was blasting at the right volume and the decor is muy cute!
Everyone was friendly, even the teenager confused by my order. The manager (owner?) came and said hello, telling us that he expected us to”speak Spanish by the time we were done.”
Great drink selection, including refillable agua frescas.
10/10
I use to visit HSL often but over time it has become more disappointing. I ordered red wine and it was cold. The burger was raw and made my partner sick. The amazing ham for it no longer is the same. The gluten free options are no longer on the menu and the food overall took a nose dive. Love the people there and atmosphere but it’s just not as good anymore. And it has overpriced wines. Usually a great selection but $17 for a glass? No thanks.
Enjoy a welcoming vibe with attentive service that makes you feel right at home while exploring the menu options available.

Makenna was our server and to say she was amazing is an understatement!! I have a recent gluten allergy and she made me feel so comfortable eating here with it. Her knowledge of what could be gluten free and the safety of the food (what might have cross contamination and not) was amazing. She’s such a kind and caring server and it was truly some of the best service I have ever had!!!!
Fans rave about the delicious vegan sandwiches, though many hope for the return of a beloved treat and more bread options.

Please bring back the zucchini chocolate chip cookies. My spouse loves them and he was so sad to learn you guys don't make them anymore. Also, can you pretty please bring on board some gluten-free bread? X
Always delicious. I'm gluten free and I get a rice bowl with chicken skewer. I ask for no chickpeas/garbanzo beans and no onions and will sometimes get extra tomatoes in exchange :)
My go-to Chinese take-out place! The food is always so good, fast, a great price, and I love all the customizations they offer (gluten free, brown rice, spice level, etc.). Best Chinese in Salt Lake!
They Do Not Care About Allergies! They Only Care About Money!
My wife and I made a reservation a few weeks ahead of time for Valentine's day date night. I specified when making the reservation of a gluten and nut allergy, and was assured there would be accommodations. When we arrived, we were informed of their "special" Valentines menu, which was basically a cruise ship style menu where you pick one of two appetizers, a soup or a salad, and one of three entrees, with no other options. When we tried to leave we were told we would be charged for cancelling our reservation. So we elected to stay. Nearly all of the meal options featured multiple ingredients that were not safe for my wife to eat, and the restaurant made no effort other than to remove the ingredients she was allergic to. So she ended up with 2 ounces of fish, an arugula salad with literally nothing on it but sour dressing and strawberries, and a teeny tiny dessert, then we got the bill for over $240 with tip. We had to hit up a local burger restaurant on our way home just so she could eat a proper meal, which cost only $10, lol.
Nobody warned us of their special valentines day menu we couldn't eat from, nobody warned us we would be spending at least 40% more than we would have needed to had we gotten to use the regular menu, nobody told us if we changed or cancelled our reservation we would be charged. This restaurant has NO Integrity, no transparency, and the staff could not care less about food allergies or making accommodations. I do not recommend visiting here, there are countless other "fine dining restaurants" in the city where you can get treated properly and provided with a proper menu, with fair quantities at a reasonable price. Go elsewhere please.

Poke bowl, sake nigiri, Avenue roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy Hama roll, and Hamachi sashimi. The poke bowl is a great value, with lots of fish. They even included gluten-free soy sauce :) The food was delicious.
One the best seafood places I've been too In a while. Can get pricey but ive never paid 55 dollars for snow crab. No cross contamination gluten free food. Give it a try.
Food was pretty good and all the drinks we had were really good! The gluten free pizza was so-so, but most of the other food we got was good and their presentation is really, really nice.

Went here for lunch while in the park. The chicken sausage salad and baked potato chips are gluten free. Large portions and quite good. No other options, but easier than leaving the park and returning.

Ever since Xiao Bao Bao opened, it’s been my favorite place to get lunch! The bao buns are so soft and the fillings are delectable. Plus, there are some seasonal buns and plenty of side dishes as well! Love that there are vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu too.

Went to Moochies for the first time as my friend told me they had the best cheesesteak subs, and he wasn't wrong. The subs here were delicious especially with the avacodo sauce.
Only minor issue I had was I asked for Gluten free since I have a allergy and was told they didn't sell Gluten free subs. I found out later after checking their website that they do, but just replace the bread with lettuce...wish I had known so I could've avoided the stomach ache. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating along with a restroom.

Nice new little spot! Just to start, I have diagnosed Celiacs and was worried when I didn't see any Gluten-free options on the menu. The server was nice enough to explain almost everything is GF, I still wish they had it marked but after eating the guac, three tacos, and a bite of my wife's tamales, I can safely say my stomach was fine. That's less than 20 parts per million of gluten so Celiacs are should be safe here!
Prices were right in-line with most other sit-down Mexican places. The mushroom & cactus taco was great.
Drinks were good, the paloma glasses are trippy!

This is by far the best vegetarian gyro I’ve ever eaten. The lentil falafel is crispy, but moist inside. The fries in the gyro seal the deal. The service is always perfect and the atmosphere is cozy, as though you are having a meal in a friend’s home. They are very accommodating for dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
