Our waitress—whose name I regretfully forgot, and it’s not on my receipt—was phenomenal. I told her I was torn between a few choices, and she confidently recommended the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (GF). Honestly? One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in over 12 years. Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. 🌱 They accommodate a ton of dietary restrictions. 🍽️ Portion sizes? Generous. 🌿 Food? Incredibly fresh and delicious. 🏡 Location? Adorable. 🚗 Parking? A bit tricky, but it’s the only “meh” part. 🪑 Inside? Cozy, charming, and quiet enough to actually enjoy a conversation. So I have autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease and that means gluten and me do not get along at all. This place has great gluten free reviews and was super excited coming here. Well now I am about ready to lose my mind. I asked my usual questions concerning gluten free items and preparations for their food/drinks. I ordered a CIDER and got served a BEER without hesitation. This is actually absurd. When somebody asks you about gluten free items and safety precautions and then immediately within 2 minutes get served a gluten containing item, it’s just actually ridiculous. The server was apologetic and kind but not knowing the difference between beer and cider is disheartening.

Food was good. We got their beignets and some breakfast stacker crepes. My Celiac wife forgot to tell them that she was gluten free so they had to remake the dish for her. They were very nice about it. Only reason for lack of star was server wasn’t very attentive and forgot silverware

I’m a vegetarian, and the main menu has almost no meat-free dishes—but Winston’s actually is vegetarian friendly as long as you say something to the waiter. They have a complete alternative menu available: the front lists vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the back has gluten-free dishes. Been here a couple of times with great experiences. Cute shop beside lots of places to walk and shop. Very beautiful products that taste lovely as well. I look forward to trying out their gluten free options for when my family is in town. The peanut butter icing is amazing and my kids loved the red velvet cheesecake and raspberry lemonade cupcake. I met a client here for a morning coffee meeting and it was a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The entire restaurant is gluten free, which was fantastic to learn. They do have some vegan drink and food options, but not many. Macadamia and Almond milk are the plant milk options. I got a hot Golden Latte and added a shot of espresso. It was delicious! My client got a smoothie bowl, which she loved. Please note that all of the smoothies contain whey protein so they are NOT vegan, but you can ask for the plant protein as a swap instead. Overall, the atmosphere and experience were very enjoyable. The only thing that would make this place better was if they incorporated more inherently vegan/ plant based options in order to cater to a wider variety of people.

A party of four went right before Christmas. Nice selection of gluten-free options for those who need to be careful. Marked on menu and server was knowledgeable. Had chips and queso (GF), Brick Oven Salmon (GF) and chicken alfredo. All were delicious. Nice atmosphere.

The challenge of being gluten and dairy free is spontaneity. . Its very difficult stopping to have a great like everyone else unless you do some research. And in the heat of summer who doesn't want an ice cream. . But I researched and found Amorino had several dairy free options of Gelato which was great for our date day seeing the spider exhibit at the museum, the Lego experience, some shopping, we stopped by Amorino's I got the dark chocolate and mixed berries Gelato, my hubby got the blueberry cheesecake and a lemon Gelato, but what made this experience exceptional is the setting. We sat outside at the little bistro table and enjoyed listening to the gurgling water fountain and people watching and midday there was no trouble parking on the street. It was a sweet end to our day.

Went here for the first time and wasn’t expecting much but it was GREAT. My spouse is Italian and very picky and also enjoyed it. We’ve tried lots of Italian places in Raleigh area and this is the best. Excited to bring my friends with dietary needs here as well because apparently they also have gluten free options I’m very picky about my Alfredo (for some reason most restaurants have such bland Alfredo) but their Cajun pasta with Alfredo was very flavorful. The penne vodka is their most popular dish for good reason and also very flavorful. I also enjoyed their steak and cheese during lunch
