We got our wedding cake here and it was phenomenal! I have a ton of allergies, wheat and dairy being my biggest triggers. Finding a vegan gluten free wedding cake that still tasted good was really important to me. WPA Bakery nailed it. It was beautiful and delicious!

Excellent cupcakes and friendly service. I follow a vegan and gluten free diet and it is amazing they have 2 types of cupcakes available everyday and you can special order many more flavors. Today they also has a vegan and gluten free brownie available which was a nice bonus. I have had different flavors over the years and all are tasty and presented nicely. I’d recommend!

Savory, sweet, vegan, gluten-free, all or none of the above. Fluffy, filling waffles in every imaginable configuration! We came in just barely ahead of the noontime crowd. Expect to wait if the restaurant is full; it’s worth it!

Went for a late lunch after visiting the Childrens Museum. The burgers were phenomenal, very tasty beef and homemade gluten free buns. Duck fat fries were an extra special treat. Topped it all off with milkshakes.

This used to be my absolute favorite cake place in Richmond. I’ve been gone for a year and a half, came back tonight and saw the new location. The gluten free size is 1/3 what it was for the SAME price. No layers, nothing. The très leches I got was ugly, soggy and tiny. It didn’t taste too bad but I will not be coming here again.

Minglewood Bakery offers a delicious selection of scones and cookies that are soy, dairy and gluten-free (!!!) in addition to their other vegan baked goods. Most bakeries just throw too much sugar or other sweeteners in to make up for the fact that there is no diary or gluten. But Minglewood actually balances the taste experience, nothing is overly sweet, and you can experience the other flavors. The textures are also great (which if you are gluten-free, you know it's hard to get good chewy textures without being overly dry). The Raspberry Jam cookies are wonderful. And my husband, who is not vegan and has no allergies, didn't even realize he was eating vegan deviled eggs and chicken salad. It was so tasty and the textures were close to real chicken salad. Minglewood Bakery is my happy place. You won't be sorry you stopped by.

Fun Creperie in Richmond. When you get to the building you have to walk up the stairs and the door opens up to a main floor. The hallway you face looks like a little town. The hostess will greet you and ask what your seating prefer. They have the option of outdoor seating, there is also an upstairs floor. They have a lot of options for crepes, including nin crepe items. There are cocktails and hot drinks. I also noticed a kids menu, vegetarian and gluten free options. This trip is my first here and I ordered two crepes a savory and sweet. The savory one was the Carbonara crepe. This crepe looked fancy and tasted rich. The crepes are packed full. Personally I found it a bit too rich or salty, not sure if it was the pesto adding to an already cheesy chicken bacon filled crepe. The sweet crepe I ordered was the Tirimisu. The tirimisu crepe was decadent and delicious and very filling. Overall it was a great experience. I did find their hours a little later (most Creperies I have come across are open in the morning). At the time of this review they opened at 11 am on Saturday.

Worth the title of best restaurant in Richmond. This meal did NOT disappoint. I can’t eat gluten and was told the Chef has celiac and that’s why so many items on the menu cater to that. Amazing service by Drew!!. I wish I lived closer and I would eat here weekly! Get the squash appetizer 🥰

This negative review is not about the food. The food is excellent. However, one of our party is extremely allergic to gluten and straightforwardly asked for the gluten-free version of his dish; our server failed to communicate this request to the kitchen. Either that, or the kitchen did not follow her instructions. I was nervous when I noticed she was not writing our order down on a notepad or tablet and instead attempted to memorize it. After the food came out, he asked “just in case, is this gluten free?” and the server said “yes, it is”. Only after he had finished half the crepe did she come back and say “actually, I'm so sorry, it is not gluten free”. He is now quite ill and upset, unsure as to whether this will render him very sick for the next few weeks. The dish was taken off the ticket and a gluten-free version was prepared after the fact, which was appropriate. For those who go here and require a gluten-free option, you must strenuously communicate this to your server, since it is not guaranteed that it will be communicated to (or understood by) the kitchen.

The staff were very welcoming and allowed samples of the flavors. They were able to make a cup of late night coffee. There are plenty of vegan, dairy free, and gluten-free flavors. The space is super clean and decorated well for the holidays. They had holiday plants for sale. Great space and will return again.

We had a large group come in and they handled it well! Food came quickly and order was correct. We even had a gluten free person whose order was correct! Definitely recommend!

Had high hopes. Were off to an amazing start with gluten free bread! That's not a common option so I was thrilled but that was the peak of the meal. As for the rest of the food..meh. Ordered the the thai lettuce wraps for the app and it wasn't terrible but we wished we skipped it. My parnter and I both ordered risotto, I got the shrimp and scallop while he got the short rib risotto. The rice in mine had no flavor what so ever with the shrimp and scallops cooked to death while the short ribs version was better, it was very one note but edible. While we waited for ages for our server to return we just decided to just share the short rib. When the server finally returned she informed us that his wasn't gluten free even though his dish was also on the gf menu. I wouldn't have ate it if I had known that and if the server would have checked in on us before. She was gone for a long time after the food got dropped off. We left upset and won't be back. Who knows if it was an off night but I can't justify coming here again. Also, the server said since it was our first time here she would let us try the wine before we ordered a bottle of it but never mentioned the sample had a charge. Not a great surprise on the bill after an upsetting experience here.

I want to start by saying I have been to this restaurant before and have had MUCH different experiences. My rating is based on this experience. We ordered wine and two of the artichoke appetizers. The bottle we ordered was mid priced, they were out of it and we were immediately pitched the most expensive bottle only to find out our server hadn’t even tried it. We went with a different bottle after that. We had 2 very serious allergies celiac (gluten) and dairy. Both appetizers came out with cheese, our server didn’t come back fifteen minutes after they arrived so someone went up to the bar and said something. It took 20 more minutes to receive a new plate without apology. When we got our check we were charged for THREE appetizers rather than TWO. When we said something the server said “well you ate them didn’t you?” The plates were never removed from our table, while two people had allergies no one else did. We left one of the appetizers with cheese untouched and only assumed we should eat them when the new appetizer was brought to the table and no one removed the old ones (so we ate the rest even though it was cold). Overall one of the worst Richmond experiences I’ve ever had. Before we left we were told they “offer happy hour”.
