After the acquisition of the business to the new owner, things have continued to slide downhill. This place used to be my favorite however the new owner also does not have celiac and is not aware of the quality required to run this bakery correctly. They've been continually chopping the quality of ingredients and no longer use purity protocol oats as I've gotten sick several times now from them. Additionally, they have an Okay rating in terms of health and food safety after having some incidents.
A cozy spot near Pike Place Market that consistently impresses with unique dishes, fresh ingredients, and a warm ambiance for all diners.

This was a truly amazing meal!! Fish of the day was Halibut and prepared gluten free. It was so good. My son had gluten free Fish & Chips - first time and is hooked!! We saved room for dessert of a cheesecake that is something we will get again this weekend! Of course gluten free!!
Amber was so kind and took great care of us! The place is cozy and great atmosphere!! We will eat again there soon.
**To note- my son and I both have Celiac Disease and had no issues. Truly gluten free!!

Brownie, with their version of nut-free peanut butter, was INSANELY good. Loved this place. Dropped some $ on a selection of their goodies. Nothing has disappointed *chefs kiss* If you are in Seattle, and want/need gluten free, go here.
With giant cookies, sweet pastries, and tasty vegan options, this Pike Place Market gem is perfect for a quick treat—get there early!

Service was nice, coffee was good but to people who eat gluten free I'd skip this place. Got the gf cinnamon rolls and gf pecan muffin both were bad. I've had really good gf before and this was a mixture of dry with dense and bland, not good. Flavor was good on the muffin but it was so dry. The non gf items looked good but if you have a gluten intolerance or celiac I'd find somewhere else to eat.
Enjoy a fantastic start to your day with early openings, attentive staff, and delicious, perfectly cooked signature dishes.

All day and every day yes. I told myself I was going to be adventurous and not order their signature paella, but I ordered the paella 😀 The flavors and seafood was cooked to perfection, and I had enough to bring some home as well. I only wish that I had that char rice/ socarrat though there was like a little of it around the top of the paella pan. The wait staff was so attentive and recommended a delicious red (since I asked for red and enjoying their sangria) to go with the paella, so when she said it also tasted good with the gluten free cake I had to say yes. She spoke to me of her dreams of getting her sommelier certification- which I think she's already there!!
Stunning views and rave-worthy dishes make this spot a must-visit, with knowledgeable staff ready to guide you through an amazing experience.

Had a wonderful meal here while in Seattle for business. Needed to take clients somewhere nice but also safe for me to eat with Celiac.
Menu was clearly marked Gluten Free and both hostess and wait staff made extra notes that I had celiac.
There is a decent amount of gluten free options to enjoy and not be left feeling like there’s only one or two things on the menu you can order.
Had zero issues after eating and 12 hours later still feeling good.
Atmosphere was awesome, oysters were fresh and amazing and the Scallops and Prawns were flavorful and delicious.
Great meal and great night out.

A place for folks with a sweet tooth.
I found the lava cakes to be like starbucks/dunkin/cheesecake factory level sweet. The creme brulee was my favorite and I would get again. It was really creamy. The $5 hard cider was good value.
A casual spot where you order up front, take a number and bus your own tables.
I am a fan of the inclusive menu ( gluten free and local) and also they make sure customers don't misgender their staff. There is also coffee, tea and wine.
Parking is difficult since it is caphill but it is less than 10 minutes from the caphill station and directly on a bus line.
This charming Italian spot features inviting ambiance, homemade pastas, a delightful outdoor patio, and a fun atmosphere that keeps diners coming back.

I should have known that gluten free cakes was a bad idea. I didn't like the quality of the "hot cake" that much. It was bitter and not very hot actually. Getting the cake in a paper cup was unpleasant. A little pricy for this quality.
The presentation was nice other than the paper cup.

The breakfast bagel was delicious! The only reason I gave it 4 out 5 stars is that they were out of gluten free bagels and that's all my friend can have. If it was in the afternoon I wouldn't complain but it was still relatively early in the day.
Nestled in a welcoming neighborhood, this spot boasts a cozy vibe and creative, seasonal dishes that leave you wanting more.

Boy, it felt like we tried nearly the whole menu! We ordered a ton of food and honestly had a great time passing everything around and seeing what stood out.
🌟 Favorites:
- Labneh with dried tomatoes & mint – So, so good. Creamy, fresh, and the mint added the perfect touch.
- Wahl Grazing Lamb with ash-roasted yams, leek crème fraîche & hazelnut-lamb vinaigrette – Juicy lamb, great sauces, everything worked.
- WA Asparagus with apricots, walnuts, sorrel & ramps – It’s served cold (which surprised us), but it was still really tasty.
- Whipped Garlic – Loved this. Flavorful.
- Soft Serve Swirl (Dairy + Vegan flavors) – Don’t skip this. Get the swirl. It’s a must.
👎 Not for Me:
- Grilled Medjool Dates with Turmeric – Way too sweet and kind of weird. No one at the table liked it.
- Roasted chicken w/ a chili-fruit paste - weird sweet sauce, chicken was not juicy.
👀 Heads up if you're gluten-free:
I have a gluten allergy, and almost everything on the menu could be made gluten-free, which was awesome. They even had a crispy rice cake instead of pita for the spreads. Big plus.
💭 Overall:
Would I say it’s worth the massive hype online? Ehh, not really. It was definitely good—some dishes were really good—but not quite mind-blowing. Maybe I’m just a tough critic (NYC problems). Still, I’d go back, especially for the dips and soft serve.
A cookie lover's paradise with a variety of fun flavors, dangerously addictive, and even offers home delivery.

Amazing quality! 10/10 (both regular and GF)
His "miracle" (gluten-free-vegan) cookies are ACTUALLY excellent. (-that's why they are called miracles-)
Mr pickney ensures his regular and miracle cookies are equally delicious by not selling them until (and I quote) "I get them just right. I don't have a miracle brown butter cookie yet because I haven't figured out how to make it good"
I wish everyone who made GF options took as much pride in their products!
You will not be disappointed!
Tasty burgers and fries with a lot of other options if you don't feel like a burger. We had the Hawaiian burger on gluten free bun and the salmon burger. Both were tasty and the prices were more than fair. I like that the menu lists all of the ingredients (onions, mustard, etc) for each item. Would recommend for sure.
It was a pretty okay experience. It was decent sushi and the waitress was nice. The staff knew which items on the menu were gluten free. Overall pretty decent.

1. Please note this is a ghost kitchen and not a sit down place
2. I recommend ordering extra meat (the meat might be insufficient in the bowl, but the price is low so its ok!)
Overall Id recommend this place, it tastes good and feels healthy. They have options for dietary restrictions like gluten free and other (I think maybe most or all stuff on their menu is like that?)

My friend and I loved our lunch here--we enjoyed the flavorful shareable dishes recommended by the owner, who was so kind and helpful. The fried green bananas were incredible! And I appreciated all the gluten-free options.

Perfect distance from our hotel to grab an amazing desert. You know it's a great place when it's steady on a Tuesday night. Looked liked several locals were in on the secret. Gluten-free options made me want to come in. Hope they eventually come up with a keto friendly option as well. That would be amazing.
The cannoli's were delicious.

The BEST neighborhood spot! Incredible savory food and baked goods that accommodate lots of different dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, etc.) as well as wonderful drinks, all served by a super friendly staff. The selections rotate frequently and are always interesting and superbly executed. The cafe space is airy and welcoming with lots of special touches from the art to the ceramic dishes. Cannot recommend enough!
With fresh ingredients and tasty options, this spot is perfect for a relaxed meal near shops and a fun playground for kids.

We eat here often but it's very uninspiring. Burgers are dry every time without fail, even when loaded up with extras. They do have gluten free buns but the fries are not GF safe. The staff seems untrained about allergens. Crowded, busy, slow, loud. Why so popular? I like the rotating 50/50 lemonade ice tea.

I absolutely love this place. I have been to the one on Broadway. This establishment is just as great as the Broadway location. I am grateful that this Sodo location is closer because I could visit this place more often than getting up on capital Hill. These cakes are top-notch. I love the flavors. I just wish they were bigger because I love my desserts. These are great for people with dietary restrictions because they have nondairy ice cream and they have gluten-free desserts as well so you have many options. I will definitely come back. Check it out because they have a nice outdoor seating area when it’s a beautiful day. It’s just perfect.

Mr. West Cafe Bar - University Village
2685 NE University Village St, Seattle, WA 98105, USA
I think this is a great cafe! It's locally owned, the food is great quality, and the prices are reasonable; especially considering that they have gourmet-style dishes and coffee. The ambiance is also good, it's comfortable with several seating options: patio, bar, low tables, high tables, and some additional cozy spaces. It's also not super loud, so you can have a conversation. The staff is always nice and although the line to order can be long at times (especially for weekend brunches) they do their best to be quick.
I recently had the Brussels sprouts, roasted mushroom toast (which I got on a sliced sweet potato instead of on bread), and the muhammara dip, all of which were great. The Brussels sprouts were well done but flavorful and not dry. The sweet potato "toast" had well-balanced flavors and some greens as well, which I appreciated. The muhammara dip was bright and tangy, with a lively flavor that kind of smacked me in the mouth lol. After the crudite ran out and there was extra dip, I ended up putting some on the toast. The sweet potato really grounded the flavor and I will definitely do that again the next time I have those dishes. But those are just a few of their dishes, they have several great gluten-free and vegetarian options as well as some meat options.
The only downside besides the occasional long line to order is that the door to the patio sometimes stays open and it can let some cold air in. But it's only an issue if you're sitting close to the door and most tables are not situated that way. So still worthy of five stars in my opinion.
