The best restaurant in Lucerne — the food is amazing, and the service from the waiters is outstanding. The owner is incredibly friendly, always with a smile on his face and ready to help with everything.
We stayed in Lucerne for three days and ate lunch and dinner there every day.
For Switzerland, the prices are very reasonable.
Gluten-free food — it's very hard to find gluten-free options in Lucerne, but this restaurant has a wide variety and the menu clearly indicates them.
We're really sad to be leaving Lucerne, but we're happy to have met the owner and all the staff.

The pizza is not made in a seperate place and they don't take care of contamination. It's so sad because the pizza dough was sooo delicious. If they would take care of contamination it would be such an amazing place for celiac people. But wouldn't recommend if you're celiac. Beautiful Pizzeria in the heart of Lucerne. Definitely not a bargain and also not a standard menu, but definitely a highlight. It was the best gluten-free pizza we’ve had in a long time - maybe ever.
The Service was very friendly and attentive. If you don’t mind a smaller menu and somewhat steep/ high prices (but after all it is Lucerne), it is definitely worth a visit. Our daughter is a symptomatic celiac, but she had no issues and loved the pizza.

We had a relaxing lunch on the outdoor patio. It was a treat to know everything on the menu is gluten-free. My daughter with celiac loved the home-made chicken nuggets. The schnitzel was also good and the seasoned french fries. The mixed salad with house dressing was delicious, too, and they provided a small basket of GF bread that was also homemade and so tasty!
We were too full for dessert but want to go back for the GF Berliner.

The pinsa was delicious - the gluten-free version is baked in a separate oven. We felt reasonably safe overall. However, all pinsas are on wooden boards/plates which have more or less deep cutting grooves.
We pointed out that it would definitely make sense to serve the gluten-free pinsas on plates or dedicated boards to avoid cross-contamination. They were very open and appreciated the suggestion. I assume they’ll handle it even more safely in the future - otherwise it’s best to just ask for a plate instead of a wooden board when ordering. Our daughter is a symptomatic celiac, but she had no issues and really loved the food.
