Gluten-free Chile Relleno!!! They use a GF flour to make this little gem. I was happy to see the "gluten-free" sign in the window, but even happier when I took the first bite of this chile relleno with green salsa on top. If I lived locally I'd certainly be back again!
A cozy gem boasting authentic flavors, candlelit ambiance, and a stellar wine list that guarantees a memorable dining experience.

Authentic dining in Taos. The ambiance alone is worth going. Great menu including vegetarian and gluten free and surprisingly good wine list at reasonable prices. A locally owned Italian restaurant complete with antipasto plate. Even if you don’t want Italian you should go. Good portions and good prices. Not fast food and hopefully Marco will tell you a joke or two. No regrets.
Romantic ambiance and a well-curated wine list make this the perfect date night spot; just remember to book ahead!

This is our favorite date night spot in Taos! The ambiance can’t be beat and the food is wonderful. Their gluten free options are plentiful and I am obsessed with the GF blue corn bread and homemade butters!

Antonio takes his clients very seriously when they have food allergies. I called before we arrived to make sure he could accomodate my gluten and soybean allergies. I relaxed the moment he described which delicious dishes he and his wife could prepare for me. Plus they are charming and made the lunch experience one of the best on our travels to Santa Fe.
A hidden gem with a surprisingly inviting vibe, it offers upgraded burger options, a nice bar, and even a kids menu amidst casual charm.

drove past this place for years, because from the road, there was no aesthetic element of appeal to entice me in any way.
my brother and i finally received some positive intel from other customers, and we tried it today.
we were immediately surprised that the inside is much more appealing and pleasant than the outside.
what they have successfully accomplished is a superior version of a clessic burger house experience with highly upgraded options which you could absolutely nevet see at a place like blake’s for example.
a few acceptable beers on tap, bison burger, gluten free buns/gluten free options.
an attractive bar, which is not my thing, but might be yours.
wifi is available.
overall, a pleasant surprise.
Expect a lively atmosphere with unique beers and a dog-friendly vibe, though some flavors might leave you wanting more.

They have a nice outdoor area to sit in which is what we went for. We started with the shishito peppers and bison relleno. Both were so delicious! We are gluten free, and they offer gluten free bread crisps they call “bird seed” in place of their homemade bread. They are delicious salty crisps you can top with butter. I really appreciate all the gluten free options. They offer many organic/natural wine varieties (labeled in green on the menu). The rib chop was cooked perfectly and delicious, and the employees were all kind and attentive.
A spot with a decent wine selection, fun crayon entertainment for kids, and a gourmet Italian menu that's sure to impress.

Rude staff. They need to take some customer service courses or something. We waited for more than an hour our food even though there was only 3 tables in entire place. I asked for gluten free pasta and I was not warned that there is an additional charge of $5
Chill vibes with awesome outdoor seating in the heart of old town—perfect for soaking up the local atmosphere!

This was by far the worst dinning experience thus far during our trip to Taos. 3 hour wait and bad tasting food.
Heard about Taos Outback Pizza, from a skier on the lifts, but definitely not worth the time or money. When placing our order at 5:55, we were told it would take up to an hour for our food to be prepared. I added an appetizer to the order, hoping that would arrive during the hour wait. I asked 2 times about the bread around 6:30 (thinking this was the half way point for our estimated wait time) however, the bread was not served until 7:30. The bread was okay, but had a very hard crust. I might rate it 4 out of 10.
While waiting for our food, 3 tables paid their drink tickets and left with out receiving their food. Once our room was cleared out and we were the only ones left, we asked 3 staff members to turn the volume up on the TV but we never did get the remote or have the TVs volume increased from mute.
At 8:55 our final pizza was served (each pizza was served about 10 minutes apart). One person in our group said the pizza was so bad she sent it back and refused to pay for it. I did ordered a build your own with 2 meats and only receive one meat on my pizza. The men in our group did eat part of their pizza but had it put in a Togo box and agreed it was not as good a Pizza Hut or other chain pizza places, ultimately comparing it to hospital pizza . We all made sandwiches when we returned to the hotel.
If you have 3 plus hours to wait, and don't mind spending $30 plus per pizza with half decent quality and taste, there are a few pluses to dinning here, our waitress Holly was kind and apologized several times for our experience. They also served a 10 inch gluten free crust crust which was a request from one person in our group. Others than these 2 single factors nothing good about this place. The manager was not seen and no explanation for the wait time other than there is only 1 oven...poor set up for a pizza restaurant.
Celebrate a special occasion in a beautiful setting, enjoying delicious dishes and a delightful dessert that brings pure indulgence.

Went for our 32nd anniversary. I'm gluten-free. The Pinon crusted trout with green chili goat cheese crema were fantastic. The molten chocolate torte was a creamy confectionery delight. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. That for a great experience.

We showed up at 5 pm and were told it would be an hour and a half wait for a table. We were visiting another town from out of state and drove to Taos just to visit the brewery. Unfortunately we weren’t able to wait that long so we couldn’t stay. My wife had been looking forward to their gluten feee vegan pizza for quite some time so she went ahead and ordered one to go. 40 minutes later she finally got her pizza. She was told “it had just come out” but found it to be like warm like it had been sitting there for a good 10-15 minutes. The pizza was fine but nothing to write home about. Can’t comment on the beer since we didn’t get to try any. By the time we left they announced it was now a 2 hour wait for a table. If you plan on going, plan accordingly unless you want to wait.
Creative and delicious cuisine with fresh ingredients and fun mocktails, making it a must-visit spot in Taos!

The food is REALLY good and fresh and the owner is so sweet and wonderful! I went for the first time last night while visiting Taos for a week and had some questions about gluten-free options on the menu. The owner had lots of great information and options for me, which is not typical of most Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The beef and chicken tastes really fresh and tender but not fatty or gristly. Everything is delicious and I would definitely go again!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with unique presentations and delicious drinks, all just a short stroll from local accommodations.

Loved this place! Everything in Taos goes for uniqueness in presentation and atmosphere. The Earth Oven did not disappoint on either of those aspects! An additional benefit was that it was so close to walk to from our room at La Dona Luz Bed and Breakfast. The kitchen is literally downstairs in the restaurant so "Earth Oven" isn't just a name. We had hummus with pita bread. She also brought cucumbers for dipping to accommodate my gluten intolerance. Most offerings there are gluten free already. I ordered the shrimp platter with squash and rice seasoned in the middle eastern style. My husband had the lamb meat-of-the-day platter with the same sides. The lavender lemonade was so delicious! My husband got an espresso and I got a chai latte to take with me. Can't say enough about how amazing this place was!
Offering fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table dishes in a clean, artsy space, this spot is a must-visit for health-conscious food lovers.

These guys really put a lot of intention on serving healthy, fresh, farm to table, local food. They don't use seed oils and everything is made to order. Gluten and gluten free options. I love the menu, delicious meals and they rotate the menu to stay in-season. The staff is personable and nice. The place is clean and has a relaxing vibe, and cool art. This has become my favorite lunch spot in Taos. Definitely don't miss out on this place and what they offer!
