I have celiac disease and this was the BEST gluten free fine dining experience I have had. The server was knowledgeable and items were clearly marked on the menu as gluten free, nut free, vegan, and/or vegetarian. And, the menu was interesting and DELICIOUS. my husband and I got the vegan meatballs (absolutely amazing), the umami bomb Brussels sprouts with vegan feta (so good), and I had the achiote honey glazed Cornish hen and he had the carrot gnocchi—both GF and delicious. Then we had the chocolate mousse tart and it was incredible. And I’m here the next day to tell the tale, no symptoms. I can’t thank the chef and the staff enough for enabling me to have a nice night out with food snob-worthy food without contamination! This is so meaningful to me. I will be back, though I live far away.

My family had a brunch on Sunday for about 90 people the day after my daughter’s wedding. It was a blast! The manager, Casey, was professional and helpful with setting up the details for the event. He is passionate about Packo’s and Downtown Toledo which really showed on Sunday. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We had two buffet lines that never lacked any food. Casey and Jessica went above and beyond to make sure everyone was satisfied with their food and how it was set up. The food of course was delicious as it always is when we eat at Packo’s. Casey was especially helpful making sure we had gluten free items for some of our guests. Even offering gluten free hot dog buns to go with gluten free hot dogs. Casey was also able to reserve the parking lot across the street for us at no charge. Our theme for the weekend was to have everything downtown and Packo’s at the Park was the perfect choice! Having the whole restaurant to ourselves made the day even more special. Great food and a fun atmosphere for a fantastic celebration! Our family and friends loved the party and could not say enough about how tasty the food was. The out of towners who had never been to a Packo’s before were highly impressed. If you are having a smaller celebration, the party room is an excellent choice too. Most of our guests ended up in the separate room or in the wonderful bar area. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the food… had lasagna, salad, bread with the yummy butter and a Coke for a good price. Good fast friendly service. Nice manager. Deedee is a great server. Would recommend. (If parking is during a game be sure to use their restaurant parking only and say you’re just parking to eat there… so nobody tries to charge you for the game parking. If you’re there for the game.. please go to game parking only and let their customers use their restaurant parking.) If you’re looking for gluten free… ask the staff what options they have. It’s not a complete gluten free menu, so ask if you have special dietary restrictions.
