Lovely food! The staff is helpful (I have celiac and am vegan). I got the Susana and some yucca fries. They have regular OR vegan cilantro sauce and it’s all amazing! So happy we found this place! My partner got a chicken taco and wants to come back in our way out of town back home. Great food!

Highly recommend the Sacre Bleu-berry French toast! Had a delicious house made peach cream cheese which was unique.
There are a lot of options whether you're vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. The inside was a little dated, but nothing to be turned away from.
Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Overall a solid spot for breakfast, can't see going wrong with anything on the menu here.

My server Jake and Katie were the absolute BEST. Jake gave us his best wine and food pairings and made special accommodations for my gluten allergy! They were so personable and helpful they made my experience here one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 12/10 WOULD recommend.

This place was great! It’s in a beautiful building, the staff were so nice, and the food was excellent. Found this on my gluten free app when looking for a safe option for breakfast and I’m glad we chose this place. I recommend making reservations online. Was happy to support this family owned operation.

Interesting place that serves meatballs with any meal on the menu. Fantastic options for my friends who are vegetarian, and gluten free! Our server was very pleasant, however she may have been new. Was very slow with getting our drink refills. Also any other restaurant serves a side salad before the main meal. Not here, it came with the meal...
Experience an authentic vibe with standout drinks and a lively atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Ordered take out. Green curry and specified gluten-free. It was read back to me as gluten-free. Opened up the box and found a crab rangoon on top of the rice. Be careful.

This was our second time visiting this restaurant and each time is 5 stars all around. Our server was Poncho and he was so friendly and knowledgable. I have celiac disease so I must eat gluten free and he knew everything about what I could and could not eat. 10/10 recommend, and will be visiting again the next time we are in Pittsburgh.

The service, food, and atmosphere were 5 stars. They were very accommodating to gluten free dining. The steak was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed Creme brûlée for dessert and my husband and I fought over the last bite. Eddie V’s is a must for a fine dining experience!

Visited last year and had a great experience with a larger party. Came back last night for my girlfriend’s birthday. The service was great and makes the experience. We had Elise as our server and she was awesome. The food is fantastic and the deserts are insane. They also made sure to let us know about cross contamination with gluten items due to an allergy and were overly cautious which is much appreciated!

Great modern, healthy, restaurant. I loved all the gluten free options and enjoyed the Greek warm bowl with salmon. I also had the kale and apple smoothie, it tasted like it sounds. There wasn’t a lot of sugar or additives to hide the flavor. I still enjoyed the smoothie but it’s not for everyone, it definitely grossed out my husband and toddlers. This may cost a bit more than some similar restaurants but I think it’s worth it for good quality, well made, Whole Foods- which they did an excellent job of providing.
With a diverse menu and a cozy vibe, it's the perfect spot to grab a bite before catching a show nearby!

Nice setting and good service. Not the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Gluten free option removes the rice, pita and anything fried. My lunch consisted of a large salad and three small pieces of meat. Would recommend getting dinner serving if you can’t have rice or pita. If I didn’t have a gluten allergy I would have enjoyed it much more. They do offer a gluten free menu. The Turkish tea was delicious!

3.8. Went for dinner tonight. Regular menu didn’t have any allergen markers, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out they did have a gluten free menu upon request. The menu wasn’t extensive, but it was sufficient for my purposes. I ordered my steak medium, because I typically have trouble with my steaks coming out severely underdone, and it came out perfectly medium rare as I was hoping for. The service was rather slow, and it wasn’t all that busy. The bathroom situation was pretty good. They had two stalls, two urinals and a bonus non-gender bathroom for emergencies.
I told them I had a gluten allergy and they took the necessary precautions. But this time I was also told to avoid the mayo because it's used for the bread. It was a first, excellent job in telling me!

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. The food was incredible and they have a ton a vegan and gluten free options. Even for the dishes that aren't vegan or GF its face, there are options for many to make it compatible. The digital menu and seamless payment made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend.

Travelled over from the UK for first Pens game. Great pre game atmosphere. Excellent service and delicious food. Gluten-free pizza option is a delight!
Pretty good with Celiac's, though last time we went there was a small misunderstanding. Management was really nice about it. Really good food and a really fancy place to eat. It kind of depends on the menu. There's been times when everything looks so good we can't decide, and times when nothing catches your eye.

I moved to Pittsburgh in 2016 and started working downtown. I've ordered hundreds of times in the 7 years I've lived here, because it's the best Thai place I've had, for one particular reason: spice
I've eaten from so many Thai restaurants since I got here (that probably includes the one you're thinking of right now), and most places have a pretty mild "10", and even then the spice is just fine. At Siam Thai I usually hover around a 7 or an 8, and that's much hotter than most places top out at. But it's not just heat, it adds a depth to the flavor as well. I have no clue what they do differently, but it works big time.
They also tend to be very consistent, but I can tell when someone is filling in for the main cook. There was recently a 3 month span of subpar Siam Thai. Now keep in mind, Siam Thai off its game is still better than 90% of the Thai restaurants out there. But tonight they delivered one of the best meals I've had in a while. Everything was cooked so well, and the spice was HOT. Definitely a level or two higher than expected, but me and my wife were happy to enjoy the burn. Side note: Thai food is great if you're sensitive to gluten.
They're a small place of Smithfield downtown, and sometimes only a single person will be running it, and they're in the back cooking. They did indoor seating before the pandemic, but only pickup now. I'm also assuming they're family run, because sometimes they'll close for weeks/a month with a note left on the door.
TL;DR This is my favorite Thai in Pittsburgh, it's a small local business, and you should definitely eat here. And probably choose a spice level a little lower than you normally do.
Great location with a view of Market Square. We were greeted straight away and sat near the window. The server was attentive and the food was vet traditional Mexican. Great place in downtown, they catered for my wife who has a gluten allergy.

Incredible place to eat downtown and worth the drive if you’re not close. Everything we’ve ever tried here is always top notch. They even have gluten-free options. It’s probably our favorite Japanese spot and ramen spot in the greater Pittsburgh area. I also love how quickly the food is ready if you order to-go.
Highly recommend getting reservations if you go on a weekday during the business lunch rush, it gets slammed.

My husband and I mourned the loss of our favorite restaurant, The Carlton , when it closed during the pandemic .
What restaurant would match the attention to detail in food quality, aesthetically pleasing food, service, and decorum?
The answer is Vallozi's.
I was served by Katie, who understood what wine would match my veal piccatta and my husband's veal strip.
The food was cooked to perfection and was very b
aesthetically pleasing.
We followed up our meal with a gluten-free flour less chocolate cake and a glass of chambord liquor before going to The Pittsburgh Symphony.
We found our new favorite restaurant. 😍
Enjoy a unique dining experience with great communication and attention to detail, perfect for special dietary needs before a game.

Gluten and soy-free diner here. Last night, my stepdaughter and I had dinner reservations before the Bills/Steelers preseason football game. I advised the restaurant via OpenTable of my dietary restrictions. Thus, both the host and our server, Autumn, were aware, and each advised the kitchen. Given such good communication, I ordered the Whiskey Pickled & Roasted Beet Salad with Goat Cheese as an appetizer. Since the goat cheese was fried, Autumn recommended adding crumbled goat cheese instead. In regards to their house salad dressing, I asked her to double-check the ingredients to make sure that it did not contain soy. Unfortunately, it did, so olive oil was a fine substitute. For my main entree, I selected the Half Roasted Mesquite Chicken, which is one of their normal gluten-free choices. It is served with sautéed spinach, asparagus, and smashed red skins. The chicken was moist, and each of the vegetables was delicious. My stepdaughter thoroughly enjoyed her French Onion Soup and Salmon Caesar Salad. Thank you once again, Autumn, for your attention to detail, and we look forward to dining with you again the next time we visit Pittsburgh.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with a varied menu that keeps diners coming back for more, while the chill vibe makes it a perfect hangout spot.

Being that this joint was in a hotel, and looked chain (we weren't familiar) our expectations were pretty low-ball. It was also Christmas Day and there were so few things open we were just happy to have a seat and a meal. Lucky for us it turned out to be pretty spectacular, and it really made our Christmas Day. We were happily surprised at the food quality and quantity for the price--in particular the burgers were delicious and we were stuffed when we tried to go to dinner later that night. Speaking of which, we realized that our overall experience and food value at this Bill's joint was off the charts compared to a disappointing white tablecloth dinner at Eddie Merlot's later that night. Should have just come back to get another burger... Lol. I had some keto protein packed bunless burger since I am gluten free (had an egg on it and all kinds of other meat thrown on top of burger patties--yum!), and the husband had some kind of spicy burger. Can't remember exactly which one but he was in heaven. The video says it all. :)

Sultan Doner is a hidden gem, especially for those with gluten-free needs! My wife has gluten intolerance. Although the menu is not marked for GF, the owner was incredibly helpful in pointing out several menu options that are gluten-free.
Many of the kebabs are GF. And the additon of a Turkish coffee or pop drink, making it a great spot for a casual meal. It's also super convenient, located steps away from the baseball stadium and with easy access from the Roberto Clemente bridge.
While they don't explicitly advertise gluten-free options, the owner's help to identify meals for dietary restrictions was a big plus! Just be sure to ask about them when you order.

Such a nice, cozy restaurant downtown Pittsburgh. Some of the best lo mein we've had, but every dish was amazing, the house spicy crispy chicken and beef broccoli were our other choices. There was some slight confusion trying to put in a to go order for our celiac friend, but the staff was friendly and the food so good we got it twice in a weekend :D
