According to Bloom’s website, “As of November 15, Bloom will no longer be exclusively gluten-free, but rest assured, we’re committed to maintaining ample gluten-free options and making our space as friendly as possible to those with allergies and dietary restrictions. We remain Chicago’s most gluten-conscious restaurant, and our team is committed to keeping plenty of delicious, fully gluten-free options that everyone can enjoy.”

Be careful if you have a food allergy. I am celiac, asked for gluten free fish and chips, but I got food contamination. It made me vomit shortly after finishing.
With a spacious, classy vibe and a rotating selection of unique ciders, this lively spot is perfect for gatherings but can get a bit loud.

I LOVE this place. The space is super large, clean and open. The service is great. And the ciders are solid. I like that they are constantly rotating and trying new ones out. But if and when they are too weird for me, they always keep some on the menu permanently (the pedestrian cider is a fav).
I have celiac and there are plenty of GF options and staff are always helpful in making sure nothing is cross contaminated.

I’ve been to Au Cheval before my gluten allergy, but I have to say— the gluten-free route is the way to go, even if you’re not celiac!
Service was fantastic, and they offer two gluten-free burger options: a hash brown simmered in beef tallow or lettuce cups. I chose the hash brown, which was crispy, buttery, and indulgent, but if you want the meat to shine, go for the lettuce cups.
We also got the bone marrow, and it was to die for—highly recommend! If you’re GF, it comes with lettuce cups; otherwise, you get toast. They offer small (2 bones) and regular sizes—the small was perfect for sharing.
That said, I’d rate the burger meat 7/10 — not quite the holy grail Chicagoans claim. And if there’s a long wait? Probably not worth it.
This spot near the Magnificent Mile is a favorite for its vibrant atmosphere, attentive service, and impressive wine list—perfect for brunch lovers!

Stopped in for weekend brunch . They do a really good job with the offerings and selection of items for brunch . Impressed to see they had a gluten free only menu as well !
I decided to go with a sandwich option . They have a spicy Calabrian chili turkey sandwich with bacon and avocado on a ciabatta style bread that was delicious . Big portion too . If you get the fries as I did , make sure you add on the truffle aioli ! It goes so well with everything.
Service was good and attentive . We had a reservation and glad we did as it did appear to fill up very quickly
We will definitely be back here
This vibrant plant-based spot serves up amazing comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere perfect for casual hangs or date nights.

More than half the menu is gluten free. They use separate fryers and prep space for the gluten free items. Everything is vegan. Soy free options too. Very yummy!!

A really cute vibe inside, food was varied and all very safely marked for gluten free or veg. Service was great as well. I got the veg platter special for Lunar New Year and my partner got the chickpea curry and loved it. The appam was very fresh and fluffy, and the yucca bites for an appetizer were great. We got ice cream and the rice cake for dessert because it looked so good, even though we were full. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
Perfect spot to grab a chai and pastry on your way to work, plus they've got plenty of awesome options to choose from!

Had a work lunch here last week, and was happy to see there is a separate gluten free menu available, so I didn't get my hopes up about something I couldn't actually have. My dish came out with a little flag indicating "allergy" so there was no confusion at the table. Most importantly, the food was very good!

I attended a baby shower held in the private back room of The Range. A delicious gluten free brunch buffet was served. Everything was hot and tasty. Especially loved the turnip omelets. I love trying new dishes. The service was spot on.

We went for brunch during restaurant week. We had the gluten free fried chicken and their cornbread as well! Both were very delicious. The only downside was communicating with the servers. Our server interrupted me in the middle of asking about allergen cross-contamination of the fryers by stating "no" to answer my question. While I'm sure she gets the question a lot, it did leave me worried about if she fully understood my question or if I fully understood her answer. At the end of our meal, I asked if I could get a box for my leftovers, and the busser said yes, taking my plate... so I just assumed she was going to box it for me... which I did think was odd. Then, when we asked her again, she sent other bussers and our server over to our table and acted like she didn't know what we were talking about. They did end up replacing the chicken they threw away, which was appreciated, but they seemed really bothered about it. Not sure if they were understaffed or if it was just simply too loud in there to hear properly. The food was good enough we will probably give it another try! (The ginormous plates make the serving sizes look tiny, but they're not as small as they look)

The food was delicious. And the atmosphere was just what I would want from an upscale pub. The one issue was I had to do my order 3 times. Once with the original waitress, once bc of a gluten sensitivity which I had explained to the waitresses and once to the person serving it bc there was no Cheese on my cheese burger. Otherwise great.
Enjoy stunning views and a beautiful ambience while savoring a creative menu that promises delightful and artfully presented dishes.

Avli is a beautiful place with great food and good atmosphere. My wife and I are both gluten free and our server, Jen, was knowledgeable about our dietary restrictions.
We began with hummus and tzatziki with gluten free pita which was a real treat, followed by grilled octopus. All of the above were delicious.
We split the lamb chops with broccoli and roasted potatoes. The chops were tender and flavorful. My only complaint was the roasted potatoes were heavy on lemon for my taste but but, honestly, reminiscent of yaya’s.
Special shoutout to Jen our server who was professional and personable adding to our entire experience.
Highly recommended.

Gluten free girlies and brunch babes, assemble!
This spot has everything. There's range of burgers for every friend (turkey, veg, dairy free, gluten free buns). They're all sooooo good.
The happy hour deals are amazing. $15 for a burger and fries AND sweet potato fries aren't an upcharge?!?
The servers and bartenders take allergies seriously and know even beverages can contain gluten, so they'll help you get wasted and stay safe. The drinks are STRONG, so pace yourself!
It's super cute inside. On a weeknight, you can often walk in with a small group of friends and not have too wait long.
10/10, 2 thumbs up, can't rave enough.
Experience high-quality meals in a cozy, eclectic setting with delicious flavors and great drinks, plus a lovely patio for outdoor dining.

I ate dinner with friends here after attending a play at a nearby theater. We started with happy hour appetizers which were very good. We each ordered different meals for dinner and finished with dessert. One member in our group can't eat gluten. Our server, Brendan, was exceptional. He explained the gluten free options and checked with the chef to make sure her selections were safe for her to eat. He was familiar with the menu and was attentive and nice. All of us loved our meals. The food is high quality with good flavor. When eating out, I hate when some chefs put too much salt on food. This did not happen here. We actually were able to taste the flavor of our food. I had the filet mignon and it was tender with melt in your mouth texture. We ordered the tiramisu and it was the best we ever had. The creme brulee was also delicious. I definitely will be back.
An ideal hangout for kids that's not a chain, sporting an electric vibe, and boasting rock-star parking.

I don't quite understand how, but every time we come back here, it's better than the last. Go immediately.
Many different types of dishes, and around half of them are gluten free.

Classic Chicago experience with wonderful GF food! I spoke to the manager who assured me that all their meats and sauces are gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer so I was able to enjoy the delicious fries. I also got the coleslaw and beans as a side! Really great experience.
