Went here based off social media recommendations and online reviews, after all, it’s rare to find Celiac safe fast food options. We ordered a few items, the mozzarella sticks were my absolute favorite, a must! Hubby said the burger was good (and he’s not Celiac), so that’s a plus. I also ate some of the chicken sandwich (was pretty good, I’ve had better, a mediocre GF bun) and the fried pickles were decent. Definitely worth going for the experience but get the mozzarella sticks. Nice to not worry about getting sick - dedicated GF facility.

What a great find! Angie took excellent care of us and made sure that there was no possibility of gluten cross contamination for our daughter. Three separate dedicated GF fryers, huge GF menu, and delicious food. Portions were also very generous. Will be back again and again.

Outrageously overpriced, pretentious, great for the Rivian/Audi crowd. If you're a gluten-free Karen or a tourist with money to burn and in need of an open air "brewery" to take selfies in, this is the place. We recommend Randy's Restaurant on Cass - no frills, great food, family owned!

Decided to call in a carry out order after a long day and not wanting to cook when I got home. The gal I placed my order with over the phone I believe her name was Charlie was amazing. When I placed my order I explained to her my husband is celiac and his order needed to be GF and she immediately offered to have his food be in a separate bag from the rest to avoid contamination (most places would never). Also took her recommendation on some apps that were all amazing. When I came in to pick up my food I could tell this place was BUSY and there was a line up to the front but still I was greeted by a smile when I cashed out. Both our food and service was fantastic (I will be getting that ranch with everything) , will definitely be coming back!

We have dined in many times and ordered take out. Lots and lots of gluten free options! I love getting the Caesar Salad with Crispy Tenders!! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer.

Came in to order takeout for lunch yesterday— Molly killed it! She had to balance the floor (which had a 40+ party in one room alone), the bar, AND takeout. Food was well worth the wait; as a plus, the gluten-free substitutes were high quality.

One of my favorite restaurants. I love that they change up the menu regularly. And as a celiac, they are somewhere I feel super safe eating (and can actually have fries since they have dedicated fryers!). Their GF carrot cake is amazing and it's rare I order a dish that I don't love. Also very much love the rooftop dining in the summer.

Alright, i haven't had a true burger since i became gluten intolerant, but i was in the area, and inquired with The Burger Joint about their gluten free options. Not only do they have decent gluten free buns, they have a dedicated fryer where nothing with gluten is fried in it. Fantastic! I paid $20 including tip for my burger with addons and a side of fries, and it was worth EVERY PENNY. Thank you The Burger Joint, for a wonderful and delicious experience!

First visit here was several years ago on an overnight stay for a concert. Today I had to go back because that time was so good. Today I went and sat at the bar for brunch the staff (all 4 I encountered) were friendly and helpful answering questions and making suggestions that made my visit amazing. I went for this avocado toast gluten free with added egg and coffee, followed up with a citrus drink they mixed for me (not cocktail) that was the perfect refresher after the delicious meal. 10/10 recommend going here when in Grand Rapids, it is a super adorable yet smaller space so try to go outside the typical meal times or be patient and willing to wait. It’s worth it in my opinion.

The first time I tried Seva in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I ordered the spicy green curry. While I'm not a vegetarian, I have a gluten allergy, so this dish was safe for me. I enjoyed it, but I felt it was missing some spices, so I added salt and pepper. My husband ordered the portabella caprese on a gluten-free bun. When the order arrived, we double-checked, and it turned out the bread was not gluten-free. We've had similar experiences at other restaurants, so we always ask twice. Since my husband and I often switch dishes to taste each other's food, we make sure everything is gluten-free. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to correct the order. Despite this hiccup, I still recommend Seva, especially if you're vegan, vegetarian, or have a gluten allergy. It's a safe place to eat.

I was blown away by the amazing food and service here. My wife and I enjoyed our 11 year anniversary here and they made everything perfect. Food allergies make it difficult to find menus that can accommodate, but the Unicorn Tavern did an outstanding job. They even had a vegan gluten free creme brulee, which is one of my favorite desserts and I don't have any allergies but still loved it all the same. Thanks Unicorn!

The gluten free options were very good! They even have dedicated fryers, GF gravy, and GF chicken tenders. Our server, Justin, was very knowledgeable about the GF options and very helpful. The kimchi was also good! Overall a great experience!

Service was great! Server was knowledgeable about gluten allergy concerns they walked me through the menu and the appropriate things that could be substituted so I could make a decision. There was more than just salad options. And they even had a dedicated fryer for French fries! I got a side of fries with my chicken and did not have any adverse reactions. I'd recommend when you make a reservation that you indicate any allergies they need to be aware of so they can be prepared and begin with that in mind. I would recommend them! Also it's not explicitly fancy, but definitely a snappy casual or higher kind of place. Plan accordingly!

Our car enthusiast group had an ideal dedicated room for dinner dining. We enjoyed the spacious windows overlooking the lake, very fun seaside décor with a fireplace and excellent service. Upon entering our room, a beverage table with lemon tea, coffee and other offerings was prepared just for us. A group of polite hostesses greeted each one of us. was all spectacularly awesome! Kind and attentive bartenders were all amazing. I recommend the Bruschetta appetizer, and Steak & Shrimp for a main entree! All were wonderful!! I had ordered the Salmon Salad, had a nice balance of dressing and the salmon was really tasty. It was quality salmon, neither over done or under done. The accompanying bread was exceptional. Gluten free items are on the menu and desserts are excellent. They serve delicious American cuisine, and provide an unforgettable ambiance the reflect the water, boating, sailing and ships. It was too cool that evening for dining on the patio, but I’d like to go back and take that in. The outdoor patio was spacious and looks like a quality experience. You can do pickup, delivery, or dine in. Definitely, make a reservation ahead of time to not be disappointed. We were impressed with how many seating options are available, several rooms in addition to ours. Thanks to RedWater Restaurants for this delightful waterfront dining option. We had no problem finding parking and pre-arrangements were easy and our meal order was perfectly fulfilled. Restrooms are spacious and luxurious. They gave our group ample staff when did exceptionally great at serving everyone very quickly. This place is highly recommended by our table.

If you have food allergies do not go to this location. I was assured they had allergen training and could safely provide me a birthday meal. The 1st red flag was the waitress was trying to tell me things were gluten free management confirmed weren’t. (I called ahead). The manager corrected the waitress. I went ahead and ordered my gluten free meal. The person I was with does not have celiac disease and can have gluten. Their burger had lettuce on it. The only thing I had on mine was ketchup, mustard, (maybe pickle) and cheese. (To prevent cross contact) I was additionally told everything was grabbed from the back fresh for my meal. Halfway through my meal, I found a piece of lettuce in my French fries. This was extremely alarming considering nothing I ordered had lettuce, and all my food was supposed to have been taken from the back with fresh gloves, only prepared by 1 person trained in allergy safety. The manager was told and here’s the 2nd red flag, well lettuce isn’t gluten. While yes, I don’t have a reaction to the lettuce, How did that piece of lettuce get there if someone was properly sanitized and only handling my food? She had no answer. Unfortunately for me, that’s exactly what happened and I was ill from it. Someone was careless and was not careful with my food prep, handling gluten and then handling my “gluten free dish” which unknowingly to me was no longer gluten free. I did stop eating as soon as I saw the lettuce as the meal could not be trusted. If they could not accommodate - they had more than enough time and warning to tell me. I spoke with the manager and asked her many questions before I even decided to come into the establishment. I reached out to them to try and get in contact with the owner, it’s been 2 months and no response. I would not go here if you have food allergies of any kind.

Definitely eat here! There's several reasons why its a local favorite and you won't regret it! The food: What a pleasantly unexpected variety of dietary options for a Tavern! The amount of tasty Gluten Free choices available here far exceed anywhere else that I've found in Muskegon thus far! The chef has a solid handle on seasoning and flavors just to say the least. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order (medium-rare), perfectly seasoned, and were so juicy! The sides were so delicious that they stand up on their own. My Gluten Free son swears their burgers and tacos are the best he's ever had (my heart isn't too broken since he shares sometimes lol). The service and atmosphere: Excellent, friendly, and efficient service is provided for sure each time we've frequented. The atmosphere / service It's one of those places where you feel welcomed as if you're a regular even when you're new in town! (I'm not super new to the area anymore, but even when we were) the atmosphere and service will absolutely keep you coming back. After about a year in town my son also began working at the Tavern as his first job and I was not at all surprised to hear how exceptionally clean the back of house is kept, since everytime I had eaten there the dinning room and tables were so well maintained! It really is a great family owed, neighborhood gathering place with great food and service! So blessed to have such a cool eatery so close by!

The restaurant was very busy and it took a while to be seated. Our food came out in a timely manner though. They offer several gluten free options which is great. I had an eggplant parmesan sandwich. Everything was great but most of the eggplant was tough. Otherwise the sandwich was delicious.

My husband and I go when I don't want to cook on somedays..lol. The service are so kind, and they manage gluten-free options so well. Food is not contaminated with wheat. They cook separately from wheat, which we are strict about. Bless them who care for those who can't tolerate wheat.

Came here for lunch! I am vegan and have dairy & gluten allergies, so I opted for the “socially awkward” burger with the gluten free bun. I was pleasantly surprised that they brought the bun warmed and still in the container so that there was no risk of cross contamination! I have celiac disease and can't eat gluten, so I asked the server which appetizers were gluten-free. I know the main dishes that are, and they have new menus. She went to the kitchen, asked and wrote them down for me. One of the appetizers normally came with bread to dip, but the rest of it was GF. They took a GF bun, sliced it up, and toasted it so that we could use it for dipping. The food was delicious! I'm so happy that I can get fried porch and fries made in a dedicated fryer.

We’re so delighted to have chosen Common Grill for dinner last Friday evening. So many gluten free options!! We shared the best Brussels sprout appetizer, (amazing, an appetizer gluten free), and followed with amazing pasta, chicken, spinach, tomato entree. I had so many choices! Such a rarity! Even the Pinot Grigio was perfect!

Lauren was the best server. Very patient, attentive, and vibrant. This was a phenomenal burger—there are lots of toppings to choose from, some of them being minimal upcharge. Everything was high quality and had generous portions for a fair price. Sometimes you go to a restaurant and the burger upgrades are sub-par, but this was not the case here, everything was well worth it. I really liked this place! Gluten friendly as well.
