This restaurant is a real gem! I have two sons that have Celica's disease. It is very hard to find true gluten free restaurants. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The menu was extensive, with clearly labeled dishes, and we were able to create a fantastic meal. Even the dessert was a showstopper. The food was flavorful and delicious, and we left feeling satisfied and impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that has Celica's Disease.

SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! I adore Pinky’s they have a very up beat and fun vibe to them but also some I impeccable food with a large variety of options! I’ve been enjoying their brunch for years but I recently went for dinner with a girl friend of mine and to no shock their dinner menu is just as perfect as their brunch!

This place has some positives, but my experience overall was disappointing. The atmosphere was nice, with a spacious bar area and a great beer selection that supports local breweries, which I really appreciated. However, the food and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The French dip was a letdown – dry, with an odd choice of American cheese instead of the usual provolone or Swiss, and while mushrooms were included, which I know some places do, they’re not my preference. Overall, the sandwich just wasn’t good. The potato skins were also subpar, barely a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the mac and cheese was pretty good, and my kid enjoyed it. There were some cleanliness issues. I found a small fleck of lint or hair on my cup, and I noticed the bartender using her bare hands to pick a lemon seed off the side of a glass while making water for another guest. These details were off-putting and made me feel a bit skeeved. While they do offer gluten-free options and a great beer selection, the food quality, service, and overall experience weren’t quite worth the price.

I was referred here because they have clean food and I wasn’t disappointed! I wish they would get grass fed grass finished option for the meat but the organic wild caught salmon and free range clean chicken were great! They have gluten free beer! Service was amazing!

Bruhhhhhh!!! Let me TELL YOU ABOUT THIS FRIED CHICKEN!! IT WAS GLUTEN FREE!! Seriously so.damn.good!! It's been on my list to try especially since they had gluten free options. The fact that it is actually real fried chicken is a BLESSING! The seasoned fries were YUM too. Big portion sizes as well. And the RANCH.... Made me want to slap my mama! It was so DELICIOUS 😋 Definitely give this place a go! My son didn't like his regular spicy sandwich but my daughter and I who have celiacs say YES! DEFINITELY EAT HERE! We will be back for girls night <3

Fantastic Fish. I had gluten-free breaded fish that was lighter and better than any breaded fish i have ever had. My wife has celiac and was able to have a great meal that was gluten-free and safe from cross-contamination.

Absolutely AMAZING experience! We drove up from West Virginia as it was my son's birthday and he wanted to eat at a place where I could safely eat as well (I have celiac disease). In our area there are very limited gluten free options and even fewer that are actually safe for someone with Celiac disease. From start to finish we were overly pleased. Our waitress was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of celiac. Not only did she ensure that my food was safe, but the chef did as well. I felt accepted there and not that my food limitations were a "bother" to anyone. This restaurant really gets it. In addition to not only having a safe meal to eat, the food was delicious! Aside from going above and beyond with my meal, the entire experience was great. All of the employees were friendly, hard working and we had multiple people check in on us, not just our waitress. My husband and son enjoyed their food as well. AND they made sure that my son felt very special on his birthday. We are planning a trip back next week and we cannot wait!

It’s a rare pleasure for me to go to a burger place because thanks to an Alpha-gal tick bite I am allergic to red meat. The chicken burger at Remedy is amazing even without the bacon and the cheese (also a dairy allergy). Finally they have a gluten free bun that stays together when you bite into it and really tastes great. My wife enjoyed her chicken burger with all the fixings. The fries are seasoned to perfection and we enjoyed the sauce. Atmosphere is cozy and warm with a well stocked bar. Highly recommended.

The food was good. However, the gluten-free bun was awful. Worst bun possible. Fell apart like wet paper. Please go back to your other gluten-free bun.

Ate here for lunch with my husband and son. The food was delicious and service was superb as always. The second we sat down the service was ready to help me get something started for my son who was clearly hangry and on the verge of a toddler meltdown. She was knowledgeable about the menu and navigated his dairy allergy like a champion. He had the kids burger and seemed to enjoy it. I had the steak salad and it was DELICIOUS(made gluten free and Celiac safe). My husband got himself a burger and also said it was great(he is picky about his burgers and said it was cooked perfectly and he didn't have to scrape any condiments off like usual)

Great place all around. Not only is the BBQ amazing, they don't snub their nose at dietary restrictions. After my family ordered, I witnessed a group come in with a girl that had a gluten restriction. Sooners has a dedicated fryer and was very accommodating without being patronizing about it. You can tell they are in it for the customer. True old school small business that cares. I'll definitely be back!

I called ahead and did a pick-up order. My burger and fries were delicious! I chose a turkey patty and GF bun. Best gluten-free bun I have ever had! The staff was friendly when I entered for pick up. Once they found out I was GF, they pointed out other options for me. I really appreciated that, and I will be back to try them.

Shout out to Bryan, who always takes care of us when we come into Mission BBQ. He knows my daughter’s allergies and makes the best gluten-free fries for her. The Charlottesville Mission BBQ is like a going home to a kitchen that cares for their family. I can't speak highly enough of Brood Restaurant and Bar. Every visit has been an exceptional experience. Brood is 100% gluten free, but surprisingly does not lack in flavor. The seafood, poultry, and salads always leave my stomach feeling pure bliss. I'm also a fan of the focused cocktail list, but am very happy that the bar can crank out just about anything requested. Table service is prompt, friendly, and accurate. Brood is and will forever be me and my dad's birthday splurge!

Love this place, even though they don't take reservations. We waited at the bar and had a drink before a table was available. It wasn't a long wait, about 15 minutes, and it was a Saturday night. Food was good, as always. Lots of gluten free options too!

My son and I decided to try Island Wings because they have the patio that we were told was dog friendly. (We take out our babies to town often and look for dog friendly places to eat.) They do have a gluten free menu but I honestly prefer when items are marked gluten free on the regular menu. They were hands down the most dog friendly restaurant we've found. Our server, wish I could remember her name, was great! She immediately got them a bowl of water and even freshened it up after my bullmastiff drank and got drool in it. Out food was good but we were very happy with the portions our dogs got off the doggy menu. We were there on a Saturday but it wasn't busy. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere and a great place to grab a bite to eat especially if your dog is with you.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Valentine's Day. Even on a busy night, we were seated promptly for our reservation, but not rushed through our meal. The drinks menu is delightful, and the zero-proof options are thoughtful and complex. We had delicious appetizers (GF Corn Muffins, yum!) but could have skipped the chicken wings. Entrees were delicious and both of us commented on how nice it was that the dishes came with several accompany vegetables - it made it feel like a complete meal without having to order a ton of sides. Finally, the desserts were delicious - the chocolate mud pie is definitely shareable, and we also enjoyed the banana pudding. One of us ordered gluten free items and they were all delicious, definitely recommend for dietary restrictions!

Happened to be in the central park area and opted to stop mid afternoon (2:30) to get takeout for the wife and I. We normally frequent the Stafford location. No one in the restaurant but staff and me. The place was clean and the counter staff were attentive. Got the wife her normal pulled pork with collard's and creamed corn. Over half of the pork was overcooked and inedible. She was not happy. The sides were fine. The 4 tubs of Smokey Mountain sauce were gelled in the container. We have never seen this in all the years we have been patronizing Mission BBQ. You could lift a chunk out like jello and it tasted weird. Nope. Didn't use it. My spare ribs were beyond well done. I tried to salvage some meat off the first 4 bones and gave up. The coons got the rest. My beans were good but the coleslaw was so dry there wasn't even any dressing in the bottom of the container. We will stick with the Stafford store. Never any issues there since they opened. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yo.ur self a favor, trust me, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. In its "glory days" it was ranked in 2017 & 2020 as the "Best Food Allergy Champion" for their extensive allergy menus and their preparation for making food safely. These are proudly listed on their website too. In fact it used to be a safe go-to place for me as GD had many Gluten Free options. I could even get loaded fries that were safe! Due to the change in ownership the company as a whole has gotten rid of the dedicated fryers and significantly reduced the GF menu. Big bummer and crumby of the company to disregard so many of their customers. I've had several worsening experiences but this takes the cake. The grilled wings continuously come out charred and inedible. Spending $53 and 19 out of my 24 wings ordered were charred to a crisp...

Great dining experience. The restaurant set the stage with festive themed decorations. Service was exceptional. Food was excellent with one exception - the Gluten free Hamburger Bun fell apart on contact. The smash burger was cooked to perfection. Excellent Mocktails.

Food always wonderful especially their creative fish specials! The grouper with Brussels and bacon pieces and creamed cream wonderful. Our waitress(Angel) very helpful in us ordering since my husband has a gluten allergy and he even had a great chocolate dessert available. Angel gave us excellent service! We will be back for sure!

10/10 totally recommend! We went to Nora’s Terrace Tea Room in the front of O’Brien’s pub. This part of O’Brien’s is in honor of the owner’s mother who passed away from ovarian cancer. It’s a beautiful tribute and the room was absolutely gorgeous with the perfect ambiance. Although the pub was filled with people, it was quiet in the tea room and comfortable. The tea list had so many options! I was in a party of 4 and we each got a different flavor and shared. The servings that came with the tea were delightful and delicious. Little sandwiches, cakes, and scones. The scones are all personally made by the owner and they are the best I’ve ever had. The scones would be worth the trip on their own! This hidden gem right in Warrenton is incredibly underrated. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience so delightful. The owner even came to our table to wish us Happy Mother’s Day! We only had one small problem that was our own fault… when we made our reservation we forgot to let them know someone in our party was gluten free. Even though we had already been served, once we informed the staff, without request or prompt they made gluten free sandwiches! It was such wonderful customer service and a generous surprise! I will absolutely be going back and can’t wait to bring my friends - it’s open on the weekends! I want to start by saying that our waitress was great, and I don’t blame her for any of our issues. That said, we rented a yurt and half of our party has a gluten allergy. We ordered GF appetizers, and when they were brought out they were sat down and the food runner called them “gluten free.” We proceeded to eat, and about 10–15 minutes later the waitress came out and let us know the food was not gluten free. Not good, considering half of our party was gluten intolerant. When we got the bill, nothing was comped or discounted and we had to ask. We ended up getting the erroneous appetizer comped and 10% off, but this is potentially going to be a big problem for half of the people in our party. The manager never came to apologize, and had we not said something we wouldn’t have gotten anything taken off of our bill. The whole experience left us dissatisfied.

August 2023, back at GD. GREAT experience again today. Our server Selma was great. My salmon was perfect and my son loved their breaded cauliflower❤️ my white sangria was fantastic - and finally in a wine glass. ❤️ July 2023 - Loved my experience at GD on Columbia Pike. My salmon was delicious. My sister has major allergies, and they offered an array of gluten Free options. While there was a slight error in her meal, our waitress (Sydney - who was fantastic btw) fixed it right away, and the manager even came out to make sure we were okay! White sangria was delicious - although I would prefer to have wine in an actual wine glass. Loved my experience. Will be back again.🙂
