We stopped here for a gluten-free burger and a portion of fries. Unfortunately, we left with mixed feelings. While the food was delicious, the cramped working environment and somewhat dingy surroundings raised doubts about the food's contamination-free preparation. Our inquiry as to whether the mayo was gluten-free was met with the burger chef's response, "Well, what could possibly be in that?" The menu on the website isn't very informative. While there's a gluten-free button here and there, further information on allergens is lacking. Therefore, we don't recommend Burger Chalet for people with celiac disease.

I would love to buy something in this store, but unfortunately it's always closed! You first have to be able to afford these already very limited opening hours. You simply don't need customers here! I've been in town for the fourth time today, either the card machine doesn't work, it's the "holidays" or the store is closed at short notice due to illness or whatever. Incredible!
The other branch in Fischerau doesn't even carry honey products. There are only half-heartedly selected bits and bobs and gluten-free cookies. Ah yes, then the name Honey Gallery really makes a lot of sense! These two stores and their subterranean service must be a slap in the face to all those retailers who work hard every day and have to fight for every customer in order to be able to afford the horrendous rents in downtown Freiburg. Just a shame!

The most delicious cannoli I've ever had in my entire life, even compared to the ones I had when I was still able to eat gluten. The saleswoman was super friendly and very helpful, and she was able to answer my questions in a big way.
