This restaurant is a real gem, especially for those of us with celiac and gluten intolerances. My husband and I just had a really amazing meal here, all GF. The owner explained to us what we can and cannot have and even made potatoes in a separate fryer that is not cross-contaminated. The felafel was incredible, and we have had some really good felafel in Israel in the past. This is our first meal in Santorini, and we are planning to return here before leaving the island.

I have celiac disease and they have many gluten free options. We came here twice and the food was amazing. Our server, Apostle was incredible. Extremely friendly and gave us so many good tips for places to go around the island. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit. The food is fresh, the view is great, and the service is top notch.

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had traveling and dining out. The cheese/wine platter for 2 was a perfect snack, with such a unique variety of cheeses. The service was lovely, which as American in a foreign country, is not always the case. They gave us a free dessert after we paid and even accommodated my gluten allergy by bringing us 2 desserts. Amazing, 10/10 recommended!!

Great food and view!!! Slightly overpriced for what it is food wise but worth it for the views and atmosphere 😀 Definitely need book ahead. Gluten free bread available! Allergens labeled and several option gluten free which is greatly appreciated!!!

Booked a reservation at 7pm here for dinner. We were sat at the desired level and had a pretty good view of the city & sunset. I had the Skioufihta Pasta with gluten free noodles - it is nice that they have that option. The pasta was very good but small portion for the price. Food came very quickly. However, it seemed that our server was sick and being forced to work, she did not seem well. Also if you're coming just for views of the sunset, there are likely better places that are less expensive.

Absolutely delicious food with the most incredible 360° view!! Gluten free and dairy free listed on the online menu which made it easy. I had a sea bass fillet with broccolini, it was absolutely delicious. Expensive and small portion (for what I had) but sooo worth it for that view on a hot day! There were many GF menu items, even a dessert.

Wanted somewhere in Fira with good seafood at a reasonable price. This place blew expectations! We had grilled calamari and sea bass with salad and roast potatoes everything tasted incredible and the wine too! Also my partner is coeliac (gluten free) they accommodated and were so friendly about it! Was very windy today so didn’t get to sit upstairs for sunset but still had a great evening. The bowls are delicious, super fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly and, especially early in the morning, there is a very pleasant quiet atmosphere. They are also very gluten conscious, have granola and can prepare any gluten free option. I definitely recommend it to cope with the heat and to brighten your day!

The girl taking orders was very knowledgeable and helpful for me. I got a portion of lamb gyro I think? (very big portion!) for €13, with no pitta on the side. Chips are also gluten free and safe for coeliacs. Would recommend as a quick bite to eat if you don’t want a sit down meal! Some seating outside and lots of walls nearby to sit on!

Amazing dining experience. Service was prompt but patient. We were walk ins with no reservations and were lucky to get a seat for 2. Food was incredible. Small on the house nibbles and finishing digestives were an amazing touch. You can see why the establishment and been around for over 100 years. Gluten free options for starters, mains and desserts.

Best restaurant in Fira for both brunch AND dinner! The food was creative and outstanding and the attention to detail that Nektar gives his food is unmatched. We have celiac disease and they were very accommodating and had a lot of gluten free options. They were very knowledgeable about gluten and even had delicious gluten free pasta! The service was fantastic, the owner Nektar was so kind and welcoming, and the sunset view was divine. Highly recommend adding this to your list if you’re visiting Fira.

Perfect restaurant option for Coeliacs in Santorini From my first contact with the staff at Idol my stress level reduced - I was in capable hands and could relax and enjoy a Gluten Free meal. The wait staff and kitchen staff are friendly and knowledgeable and experienced in preparing meals for Coeliacs. The waiter guided me through the menu to ensure I had sufficient options. Questions were responded to professionally and a great choice of meals were available. I went with a Beef Salad starter which was fresh and delicious For main course I went with the Lamb Chops which came with French Fries - yes they have a dedicated gluten free fryer. A complimentary glass of Masticha finished the meal beautifully - the perfect ending for my sweet tooth. The wine list contained an extensive range of local and international options. I went local and was not disappointed. The perfect stop for a Coeliac seeking a stress-free, delicious and safe gluten-free meal in Santorini. Oh and the restaurant has awesome views of the sunset. Five stars all the way.
