We had an amazing afternoon tea - the sandwiches were fresh and delicious with lovely tea, scones and cakes too. My friend who is coeliac was fully catered for with gluten-free sandwiches, scones and cakes. A lovely environment with great service - will definitely return.
A buzzing spot with great vibes and a variety of tasty options, perfect for a lively outing but not for some peace and quiet.

Stayed while visiting Cheddar Gorge. A perfect location, in the centre of Cheddar, in walking distance of the Gorge. Had a great stay. Room was nice, and breakfast was lovely. Had dinner too, which was also very well done, and all homemade. A very good selection of gluten-free too.
All staff very accommodating, and extremely friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area

Stayed for three nights to have a look around the southern lakes area. Room very clean, as was all the hotel, we slept very well and radiators piping hot if needed. Shower was excellent, and bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, and a good selection available at breakfast, gluten free was catered for also. A big thanks to all at the hotel, we would have no hesitation in staying again in the future.

Review is about the restaurant not hotel so can't comment on the rooms. But 5* ratings is for the food!
Had a brilliant evening here on Saturday night. Booked in advance which I'd recommend as it's not huge and did get busy. The staff were super helpful, we had a variety of servers throughout the night but we're all knowledge about allergies. As listed on their website nearly the whole menu can be made gluten free. Lots of things are naturally gluten free. You can't the pie, ravioli or toad in the hole. They have gf bread and crackers so the other options can be adapted. I had the fish and chips, salad and Knickerbockerglory. So tasty!!!
On a side note, there was a really rude guy next to us who was really blunt to staff serving their wine and complained about his steak. The staff were beyond professional and didn't get flustered, they don't deserve that from customers as they are so polite and friendly. So just a shout-out to everyone working on Saturday 3rd July!!
Nestled next to beautiful gardens, this peaceful spot offers cozy rooms, a warm atmosphere, and a promise of great service, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Only went for an evening meal. Excellent venue, very attractive inside and out. Food was super quality and plentiful. Good Gluten free range for me which is a rarely found in eating establishments. Prices were also good. Staff were very efficient and kind. Great range of beers, cocktails and spirits. My only gripe is that dogs should not be allowed anywhere in restaurants because of the smell and noise they create and that the vast majority of dog owners haven't bothered to train their dogs. I understand that venue owners want to attract dogs owners so they do have separate area for dog owners to eat which is a good idea. I say, leave your stinky, noisy dogs at home. All in all its a fab place to eat, drink or have a party. Even though its a two hour drive I would definitely return.
Enjoy a cozy vibe with comfy booths, plenty of parking, and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for dog lovers and families alike.

I met a friend there for lunch and she is celiac, gf and a vegy. The service was fantastic; fast, efficient and friendly! The food was lovely and I'd recommend the key lime pie.... def all home made and delicious. And loads of choice for my friends dietary requirements and obviously adhered to as she's not been ill and is extremely affected even through cross contamination so well done!

Fantastic Sunday Carvery with gluten-free, and veggie options too.
I had three types of meat, the biggest Yorkshire Pudding I’ve ever seen, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, peas, cabbage, red cabbage, mashed swede, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and gravy. My wife had Salmon with plenty of gluten-free sides. The food was excellent in every way.
Plenty of space with areas for dogs and kids too.
Not the cheapest but absolutely worth every penny. 10/10.

Jess and the team made us feel very welcome. We requested some gluten free meal options and they were able to accommodate with an excellent Sunday roast. We stayed in room 5 which was very comfortable.
Despite some dodgy weather we had a great stay for 2 nights. The room included breakfast which was excellent, and we had our evening meals in The George too (also very good). We’d highly recommended this pub for its food, accommodation and general welcome.

Booked in for a Sunday roast. Staff were friendly and polite. I fancied a bit of roast pork and crackling when booking, unfortunately at the carvery there was no roast pork on the menu, garden peas instead of parsnips, Yorkshire puddings which were inedible, including the gluten free variant, way too stodgy, cauliflower not fully cooked. All in all carvery not recommended.
Quirky and clean with a lovely vibe, this gem boasts a stunning decor and a cozy outside area that's perfect for a chill hangout.

I was really looking forward to my lunch . I've been here few times, and the choice of gluten-free menu is usually high standards, but today I got one choice for starter ( so if you have an allergies, you got no choice of starters and same for dessert) ordered beef dinner yet again penalised for been Gf as no Yorkshire pudding and dinner was luke warm .. got no apologies... Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately, I will not be changing my score, we asked the waitresses if there was any other options for gluten free apart from the Sunday menu and was told bluntly no, our dinner came not only was it luke warm we had ordered additional vegetables which came when we were actually half way through our dinner witch I did not finish as I like my food hot, we sent the additional vegetables back .. we did not get an apology when we spoke about our dispointment..
Enjoy a fantastic dining experience with diverse options, a serene garden, and a cozy vibe that's perfect for both indoor and outdoor seating.

We stayed in the Queen Victoria Room to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The room was immaculate with a great view over the Palace Mews. I had the pleasure of dining at Mason Arms and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the sea bass, which was absolutely delightful. The flavors were rich, and the crispy skin added a perfect touch. As someone with dairy and gluten intolerances, I was especially appreciative of how accommodating the restaurant was to my dietary needs.

Came here for a wedding. Couldn't give it 5 stars as it had no gluten free offer for take away breakfast as I had to leave early the following morning and missed any cooked offer. Plus the room should have been a twin, but was a double instead as I was sharing with my son. Also the extractor fan in the bathroom blew out a cloud of dust over everything when it turned on!

Nice breakfast, went for a catchup with friends and my family. Restaurant was clean and tidy, cutlery was clean unlike a lot of restaurants nowadays, music was good quality as well as suitable and service was good. Food was nice as well. All in a great dining experience and would go again. Only feedback is would be good to have the option for gluten free sausages. They catered for my intolerances, swapping the egg, gluten free bread and dairy free alternative for my ice latte. Also to have been left a little longer before asking if the foods ok, i hadn’t even started. But all is good. I didn’t say so cannot comment on the rooms. But from a dining perspective much nicer than the likes of premier inn and holiday inn.
This cozy spot offers stunning scenery, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming vibe perfect for special occasions or a relaxing stay.

We have eaten twice recently here at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn. The food is delicious and they cater very well for we Coeliacs which is always a necessity for one of us. We have not stayed in the hotel as we are locals.
We stopped by today for Sunday lunch.
My wife is a coeliac so ordered her lunch (the roast pork) to be fully gluten free and it tasted fine apparently, but we’ve just returned home and sadly she’s having a gluten reaction which can only have been from the lunch. We wanted to let the venue know via email (as our phone signal at our holiday venue sucks) as obviously something went a bit wrong with the system and it’s ended up being cross contaminated but sadly there wasn’t an email apparent so had to go for the owners Instagram instead.
Big shame as like I say the food was lovely but sadly it’s turned out to be a bit of a let down.
