Very nice restaurant overlooking the sea, they are part of the AIC circuit so they are very knowledgeable about gluten-free food. The staff is very courteous and prepared, ditto for the owner. Highly recommended!
Experience a throwback vibe with standout crispy, flavorful pizza that leaves you satisfied and wanting to take leftovers home!

Very nice pizzeria
Every time I come to Cecina, it's a fixed stop
Gluten-free pizza is very good for me, and it's the only pizzeria that always satisfies me, the day before yesterday I took the one with salad and prawns, well really super good 😋
My compliments for everything, obviously I recommend it 🤩
(I'm calling them right now, to place a nice order for tonight, not just for me, but at the moment no one is answering, they will surely be closed 😫 too bad, but they too have the right to have a day off!)
Breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills and a cozy rustic vibe make this spot a must-visit, but parking can be tricky!

Excellent dinner and service. The entire menu is practically available gluten-free. Really beautiful location, with a splendid view. Book the terrace at sunset time!
Parking not very easy. Better not to drive around in this small town in an SUV

this is meant to be a constructive criticism, the place is nice, we happened to go there several times for family dinners etc.. today we took takeaway pizzas, 1 of which was gluten-free, uninformed staff, it took 3 people to tell us what base it was that of gluten-free pizza, not to mention the unsafety of how they described it.
I would say one of the worst I've ever had, in terms of sight and taste, especially very small.
For "normal" pizzas however, the toppings are saved, but it's ok to make a low pizza, but there has been a steamroller, mencia and rubbery, finally the tomato is too tasty, which, in my opinion, if combined with pizzas like sausage or salami, it turns out to be a jumble of super salty stuff.
Overall, a simple pizza, there is better in the area and especially for 9 euros
Enjoy stunning sea views while savoring fresh, abundant dishes in a welcoming spot with a cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxing meal.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt it was my duty to do so. I was in this restaurant during a short holiday almost by chance, after a brief Google search with the desire to eat something cooked in a traditional way and in a welcoming environment. After taking a look at the place which was already very pleasant in appearance, I decided to stop.
Once I had the menu I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the fact that they offered the gluten free version of almost all the dishes, and being gluten intolerant I ordered my special menu from a waiter with glasses, who was very kind and efficient and listened to my requests, putting me completely at ease and following the entire service at my table until the end.
I chose the seafood soup as a starter and the gnocchi with cod and walnuts as the first course. The appetizer was exceptional, so much so that I had to make the so-called "slipper" to honor it; the first also excellent; enthusiastically I also ordered the dessert that I usually never get: cantucci and aleatico; everything was wonderful on my palate; the wine, a house Vermentino, was also excellent.
My heartfelt thanks to the chef who made my dinner "The dinner" of the year and also to the owner and the waiter with the glasses.
Compliments!
This lively spot is a must-visit for pizza lovers, offering unique combinations and a dedicated oven for a memorable experience.

We try to book in this place, now approaching 10pm, because my wife, who has celiac disease, learned that they make pizza for her too. It wasn't a given to find availability for that time.
Fortunately, however, maximum availability immediately. Large, rather contemporary place, crowded with customers but still pleasantly livable, helpful and kind staff. Excellent gourmet pizza in my opinion, the gourmet gluten-free one is a pleasant discovery, much appreciated by Elisa who, seeing how it looks, questions with a smile whether it is gluten-free; wonderful! Delicious, a nice experience, undoubtedly to be recommended. We'll be back. Well done!!

ALL PERFECT! We were three people with celiac disease, and it is rare to find a restaurant that has so many quality, gluten-free options! We ordered two gluten-free fried fish and a tartare, truly extraordinary, and the waiters, kind and helpful, didn't let us miss out on gluten-free bread.
Thank you! We will be back :)

Place recommended by friends and really very good!
We had some difficulties with the service but perhaps due to the many people but still overcome thanks to the excellent ability of the owner!
If you call first there is the possibility of preparing a gluten-free first course, they don't have orecchiette but still very good!
I recommend the tuna tartare, truly incredible!!
Average price..
Expect a cozy spot with fresh fish and a nice atmosphere, plus great service and reasonable prices that keep diners coming back.

Environment and location where the sea reigns supreme... the white of the room is highlighted by the blue of the window overlooking the sea!
The food and wine offer guarantees well-made classic dishes.
In my choice I found an excellent spaghetti with seafood and a crunchy fried fish (gluten free).
Attention to intolerances should be underlined. The kitchen guarantees a wide choice of dishes even for celiacs. Among the first courses, however, only the risotto.
One more paste would be enough to be BEST IN CLASS in this aspect
Indulge in a unique dining experience where standout meat dishes shine, complemented by attentive service and great value.

We stayed at Battigia at the end of August 23, there were 5 of us including 2 adults and 3 children, two of whom had celiac disease.
We were greeted with a smile and had a very good time.
First of all we took 3 oysters to eat on the beach in front while admiring the sunset with a good head of bubbles. Everything top, both the glass of Franciacorta and the oysters, Gillardeau, super..! Oysters and glass 28 euros, I would say more than honest given the quality and the location..!
Then we sat down and had 3 courses to share and two desserts. All very good and super available to make a pasta dish with gluten-free pasta that our two children really enjoyed.
We spent the right amount for the place, the quality and the service.
Small constructive criticism, in the fried food there were a lot of vegetables in proportion to the fish..!
However, everything was perfect..!
A charming spot with a cozy vibe, featuring quality dishes and a focus on thoughtful preparation, perfect for a delightful family outing.

In summary: restaurant not to be missed in Capraia. The strong point is the quality of the sea-scented menu, which would not look out of place compared to much more renowned restaurants in other locations.
We stayed on 2.09.2023
environment -5 stars
The restaurant is on two levels, one below street level and one above. There are seats both outside and inside, even inside it's cool and it's good because everything is open and well ventilated. The location is just outside the port of Capraia, let's say at the first bend on the road that goes to the town. The road has little/no traffic as it is in Capraia. Light colors reign supreme, with a structure reminiscent of an English-style winter garden. I must say the maintenance and furnishings were very well taken care of. The mise en place is pleasant and of high quality, adequate for the level of the restaurant
Food - 5 stars
This is the real strength of the restaurant, we found absolute excellence especially in the red seafood sauces, truly balanced as is very rare to find and also in the desserts.
The rest is also good, with quality raw materials with adequate preparation, the focus is above all on the quality of the food.
I recommend the Cherie starter, squid linguine, stuffed squid and Cherie cake. Even in desserts, in my opinion we are at excellent quality pastry levels
Service - 5 stars
Education and friendliness reign supreme. Of note is his willingness to prepare gluten-free pasta for my wife on an evening when the restaurant was full
Score: 5 stars
Considering the quality of the food the price is more than fair.
with two courses each plus dessert and a bottle of good bubbles we spent 140 euros
Conclusion: the restaurant deserves a lot, we will certainly return when we are in Capraia. I would like to point out that the dining room and kitchen crew is all female, with an attention to detail that perhaps only women can have.

Nice place on the pier with tables under umbrellas although a little too close together. The menu is quite varied, the dishes are very good and they also have gluten-free dishes. The service is a bit messy with so many waiters going around and you don't understand which one to ask, we ordered the first courses and the drinks from 3 different people then for the seconds no one stopped by to ask. Honest prices.

Year after year the restaurant confirms itself as a local excellence in catering and welcoming guests. A perfect example of what it means to provide a quality offer that is also good for the territory. There is also attention to customers' dietary requests (e.g. gluten-free). It is advisable to book in advance because it is not easy to find a place, especially in summer.

Good seaside restaurant with seating both inside and outside.
Both fish and meat menu with good alternatives.
Abundant dishes, honest prices.
The tuna carbonara is good and can be made without vegetable cream upon request, although seeing the photos of other carbonaras I am disappointed because they brought it to us without the marinated egg on top (had I seen the photos before I would have asked for it)
It is possible to have a gluten-free first course.
An excellent alternative with good value for money in Marina di Campo.
Fast and friendly service, very busy place
Nestled in a serene spot, this charming venue offers a creative culinary journey with stunning presentation and top-notch quality.

Excellent food! Courtesy and kindness! Lots of choices for those with celiac disease. For the first time I felt like I was on an equal footing, as if my celiac disease wasn't a problem! I found options on everything, even desserts, spoiled for choice! I had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, falafel, wild boar and a delicious chocolate dessert (mollone). But I also got to taste my husband's tiramisu! Great! I will definitely be back as soon as possible!
