Amazing service with fantastic Pizza's. We hadn't booked but they did their very best to accommodate us. I also have Celiac's disease so need a gluten free diet. Which they catered for aswell. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to Llandudno. 🍕🍕👍

Amazing place. The manager was lovely it was really busy and he was doing amazingly handling it all. The waiting staff were absolutely amazing too so kind and high spirited. The food was delectable alot of gluten free options too as well as mocktails and for a quite affordable price

This has got to be the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Came across this place a few years ago by chance and didn’t think I would ever find it again. After a long hike we went in search of a bite to eat (which is difficult when you’re gluten free!) and even though the restaurant didn’t open for another 2 hours, they kindly opened so we could once again have the most incredible gluten free pizza. The owner is friendly and accommodating. The flavours are delightful. And finally, gluten free is taken seriously and made to be just as good as regular. 1000% recommend!

We had brunch & the food was amazing. I had a veggie breakfast and every item was hot & delicious. Same for the avo and eggs roll. The gluten free options were a stand out too, able to swap items to allow them to be served gf. I added beans to the breakfast to make it more of a 'full English' as an extra but for the price would expect these to be included. That's my only constructive feedback really as was an amazing breakfast for both dishes.

Went for a late pizza for 1, enthusiastically greeted by Amelia (vietnamese/welsh), Ilka and smiling pizzaioloa. They clearly knowledgable about the menu, helpful, attentive and very efficent in their roles. My order was taken swifly, cooked and received hot within 4 and half mins. I was impress all 5 teams members checking day doting food labelling & cleaning the whole time I was there, toilet not a spect of dirt too. Plenty of colouring packs for the little ones, Vegan and Gluten free options.

We chose this place because it looked like they had an amazing gluten free menu. The food was okay, nothing special, and I thought I could have made better food at home. We had to ask to be moved because the table behind us were cackling and shrieking. I couldn’t even hear my husband. We were moved to the opposite side of the restaurant next to another loud group. In truth, there are too many tables in the restaurant for the amount of space—it felt like we were scrunched together like sardines, and we could hear every word from the conversation of the table next to us. The server never came to check if we wanted more drinks or if the food was okay. When we asked for the cheque, we waited ages for someone to come take the payment, and in the end, my husband got up to find someone to take the payment because they were just standing around talking to each other and not paying attention. When he went to add the tip (because we felt that we needed to leave something even if it wasn’t a great experience), the card machine only had set percentages, so he was forced to leave a 20% tip. Such a shame because the menu online made it seem so much better than it was in reality. We won’t be dining here again.

I visited your treforest restaurant on Saturday 1st February to say I was disappointed was an understatement. Due to being diagnosed with coeliac disease I was very disappointed you do not provide fries on your menu. Also the vinegar in your restaurant is malt when I asked for an alternative vinegar was told there wasn't any. As coeliac I can not use this due to the ingredients. This could be easily solved by providing an alternative of any other vinegar. Also my husband was disappointed to the very small portions.

This has been one of our favourite spots for the last couple of years, but distinctly off the boil at dinner today. My wife is coeliac and the GF focaccia is usually a highlight - unfortunately quite dry and did not seem particularly fresh today. The seafood linguine was far less flavoursome than previous dinners. Not sure if it was an off night/different chefs (we've met the head chef at a couple of prior dinners, she seems wonderful, and the food on those occasions has been awesome.) Staff seemed slightly. Fingers crossed it's back to the usual standards next time!

Poor, firstly we were seated near the door- way too cold, asked to move, they did accommodate but words were exchanged between the staff, Waitress was not happy with the other. My pasta was cold and way too undercooked, I couldn't chew much of it so I left it. There's a technique to cooking gluten free pasta and unfortunately they haven't mastered it. Considering it was lentil ragu this was not noticable, hand full of lentils all in all. They opened my bottled water before bringing it to the table, tip for the staff- leave the top so that I can take it with me thanks. I most certainly will not be returning, once bitten.

Placed an order for collection, which included mainly gluten free items. One item included in the order was not gluten free, so the restaurant (specifically Ivo) contacted me by phone to check I was aware of this because he had noticed my order was mainly gluten free. I cannot thank Ivo enough for doing this, and when I arrived at the restaurant to collect my order, Ivo explained the lengths he had gone to to check this before calling me. Thank you Ivo, it really does make a difference for people who require these dietary options for medical reasons to feel like it is being taken seriously and checked. Also helps that the food was great as well! Will definitely go here again the next time we are in Cardiff!

Anne is such a lovely server, knowledgeable about allergies, friendly, made us feel super confident about ordering out as 2 of the 4 of us are coeliac. Would highly recommend pizza express as all of them in Cardiff are good with allergens but Anne is definitely a reason to visit the Bay.

Our favourite Italian in Cardiff - actually our favourite restaurant in Cardiff! Discovered in 2020 and still go there or get pizza takeaways regularly, even though we live less close now. They cater for allergies and coeliac as well, which is a game changer! Can't believe how affordable it is (and has been over the last few years) for such good quality food. Service is amazing as well!

Went here multiple times while on holiday. Couldn't get enough of their ice cream! Fantastic that you can build your own "sundae" with custom flavour combinations, toppings, sauce ... Amazing! Fair price for it too. Had lunch there and was very accessible to use the app to order and pay for the food and drinks. There was a minor delay between everyone else's food and the gluten free pizza arriving. But when it's likely they had to decontaminate a space in the kitchen for that food to be prepped, cooked and then stored before serving it was completely understandable. It was busy every day we were there, weekdays and weekends included. Particularly when the sun was out after school. But lovely atmosphere; people from every walk of life and ages. Food was tasty. I had the steak and onion baguette on one day. Was as good as it was last year! Pizzas were also very good, flavourful and not overly oily

Gluten-free (coeliac) heaven. Loved the food. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Delicious food. And we could bring our little dog. We had smoked salmon starter, pumpkin and porcine mushroom pasta (gluten-free) and gluten-free cheesecake. Fantastic.

We had the pleasure of celebrating my partner's 50th birthday at this incredible restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! The authentic Italian food is absolutely outstanding – the steak was out of this world and the best garlic bread we've ever tasted. They also catered perfectly for gluten-free guests, which was a huge bonus. The customer service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to make the evening truly special for all of us. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and well taken care of. This place is a real gem, and we'll definitely be back! highly recommended

We arrived before our 8:30 booking and were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The restaurant, a converted house, had décor and an aesthetic that made you feel as though you were in an authentic Italian trattoria. Our drinks arrived quickly, followed by our starters — the garlic mushrooms and prawns were both fantastic. For the main course, my partner had gluten-free pasta with a generous serving of prawns; there were plenty of gluten-free options available too. My lasagne was homemade, piping hot, and tasted amazing. The garlic bread was also a very reasonable size. We finished with a trio of cheesecakes, all of which were homemade and delicious. Final thoughts: 10/10 — I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waitress was also lovely and clearly very knowledgeable.
