The service was very good and prompt here. The staff was very polite and attentive. The food was super good and I was very pleased with how many gluten free options were available. Around half of the items were either gluten free already or had a gluten free option, which I find impressive. Usually, other restaurants might have 2 out of 8 main dishes with gluten free options, but not here.
Biggest issue was trying to find street parking before hand. Good luck with that! Unless you’re lucky on street parking will be closer to 2nd or 3rd street on broad. I do think there’s a parking garage that’s closer but I’m not sure of the cost.
Anyway, I will be back for sure! Oh and I really recommend the shrimp and scallops over polenta for the secondi (second course). That was MAGNIFICENT!
This spot offers a quirky vibe and elegant atmosphere, with an impressive separate menu and a genuine, warm welcome from the owners.

My partner and I went to Carrabba's on a Saturday in April around 11:30am. We were seated right away and it was not busy. We were served bread and oil and ordered calamari as an appetizer. Our meals came with either soup or salad also. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We both ordered pasta dishes and I got their gluten-free noodles. It's really a hit-or-miss with gluten-free noodles, but these were delicious!! We were overall really impressed with everything! The wait staff were responsive and friendly as well. We had a great experience and cannot wait to return!

One of my favorite spots in all of Richmond, with fresh pasta made right behind the counter. Yes, it is known they have the best smoked salmon in town (and reasonably priced). But their to-go meals, especially the microwave friendly ones, are also fantastic values (~$8).
Their fresh and dried pastas are outstanding and come in shapes and flavor profiles you can't find elsewhere (the black pepper linguine is so simple yet insanely good; they have gluten free options, as well). Their jarred sauces are as tasty as any I've had; I prefer them to Rao's, for example, and they're $1-2 less.
This isn't a comprehensive Italian market where you can find every imported good known to humankind, it's a curated selection with the majority made in house, which is rare these days.
The family who runs it and the folks who work there are wonderful, as well. It's always a pleasure visiting Bombolini and I'm grateful to live within walking distance.

On the edge of Carytown. Fantastic server...so friendly and warm
Great pizza and garlic bread. Food was quick. I noticed they have gluten free and vegan options. Reasonable prices, too! Meter-free street parking; pick the side street. Clean restrooms. Can't wait to go back!

Had a lovely impromptu dinner here and was blown away. Our waitress Jude was outstanding, San Daniele pizza well made and fresh, mozzarella sticks crispy but not greasy, and the red velvet cake moist and not too sweet. Also, really appreciate the vegan and gluten free options as well as a completely nut free menu.
A veggie paradise with standout vegan options that promise flavor without compromising quality—definitely worth a repeat visit!

My partner is a vegetarian and I prefer to avoid meat where I can, so we're always on the lookout for spots that cater to the veggie crowd more than just having one or two vegetarian options that are lackluster in comparison to the rest of the menu.
And this place was absolutely perfect; at no point did we feel like the quality or flavour was sacrificed in the process of making the meal vegetarian or vegan. I got the "chicken" salad sandwich (on a gluten free wrap) with a side of butternut squash soup, and my partner got the Gyro sandwich with a side of potato salad; we were both more than satisfied. The gluten free wrap was also very tasty in its own right and not too dry or crumbly.
We're definitely going to be coming back sometime soon, but I'll have to really push myself to try something new instead of getting that amazing chicken salad wrap again; it was just that good.
Enjoy a laid-back vibe with hearty portions and a great salad and soup selection, perfect for dining with friends.

This Olive Garden is definitely one of my favorite places. My experience is that it’s very reasonably priced and I can get a good salad there and soup. The wheat staff has always been exceptionally nice and accommodating . I have a wheat allergy and I know I can get gluten-free noodles, but I prefer just to get soup and salad.… And my friends can get all the pasta they want. In fact, I got the salmon last time. It was a big helping, and it was delicious.
Conveniently open late on Sundays, this spot is known for its amazing pizza that keeps people coming back for more.

Fantastic, amazing, best deli sandwich I've ever had. So delicious, the bread wasso good, they have a good gluten free option, and the meat is fantastic.
Stopped here for the first time after picking my son up from preschool. They were pretty full except for the bar and a couple of tables. The waitress was slammed but the owner/chef waved motioned us to sit anywhere from the kitchen. He apologized and took our order. My wife ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza w/mushrooms and peppers. I got the steak and cheese w/a side of fries for my son. The s&c was juicy and flavorful. Her pizza was very tasty and a great crust unlike other GF pizzas she's had. The Stone IPA was cold, hitting the spot with the steak. We will surely make this a weekly stop after being impressed with their service, food, and ambiance.
The best Italian restaurant in Richmond in my opinion. Fantastic food, ambiance and service. Gluten free options are great too with both pasta and penne.
Chill vibes with a relaxed atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for enjoying a variety of enticing menu options that cater to everyone.

I want to start by saying I have been to this restaurant before and have had MUCH different experiences. My rating is based on this experience.
We ordered wine and two of the artichoke appetizers. The bottle we ordered was mid priced, they were out of it and we were immediately pitched the most expensive bottle only to find out our server hadn’t even tried it. We went with a different bottle after that. We had 2 very serious allergies celiac (gluten) and dairy. Both appetizers came out with cheese, our server didn’t come back fifteen minutes after they arrived so someone went up to the bar and said something. It took 20 more minutes to receive a new plate without apology. When we got our check we were charged for THREE appetizers rather than TWO. When we said something the server said “well you ate them didn’t you?” The plates were never removed from our table, while two people had allergies no one else did. We left one of the appetizers with cheese untouched and only assumed we should eat them when the new appetizer was brought to the table and no one removed the old ones (so we ate the rest even though it was cold). Overall one of the worst Richmond experiences I’ve ever had. Before we left we were told they “offer happy hour”.
Enjoy a cozy spot with a clean vibe, perfect for a quick meal before catching a show at the nearby theater.

They had possibly the best gluten free pizza we've ever had. The crust was very soft and the cheese was ooey gooey melty and delicious. The seating is little limited but it was very clean and the perfect spot to grab a bite before going to a show at the Altria theater.
