The best gluten free pizzas I’ve had so far (and I’ve tried a lot). Delicious food and friendly service. Feels like a family run business, outdoor dining is nice and cool, indoor dining a bit warmer but you get to watch the pizza oven. Looking forward to going back.
This spot features a fantastic menu with unique dishes and a welcoming vibe, making it a must-visit for a delightful dining experience.

What an excellent restaurant! I booked Calico as we were going to a Saturday night show and wanted something within walking distance. It's always a bit of a stressful responsibility booking a new restaurant for a group, but we were all thrilled with the amazing menu and felt very looked after by the staff; Paul was an absolute delight! I had the Wild Shroom dish along with the Coco Loco smoothie and both were fantastic. Our entree was the pumpkin hummus, breads (including a gluten-free option) and burrata and it was all so tasty. Would highly recommend dining here and we'll 100% come back again! Thanks Calico!
Amazing food! From the perfect gluten free Reuben to world class black beans. Make sure you don't miss the gluten free Burnt Basque Cheesecake. Thank you Yami

I ordered through uber eats and very pleased with the burger and fries! They were both fresh. The vegetarian burger was yummy and the glutenfree bun was good.
Expect a delightful dining experience with attentive service and plenty of satisfying options, ensuring no one leaves hungry!

This place is such a hidden gem. Well known among it's locals - I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across it on my walk. Where to start:
1) 3 Minutes walk from Redfern train station and there's some street parking available, it's a few minutes drive from the city centre.
2) It's furr-baby friendly - that's right...bring your dogs - they'll love it. They even have doggy treats and a part in and outdoor area with loads of room (prams/wheel chairs and the pooch would all easily fit)
3) The staff are absolutely amazing - they know the menu back to front, are more than happy to help out. Cater to vegans/vegetarians/gluten free and lactose/peanut allergy folks alike. Winner!
4) It backs on to a huge bar/restaurant with gorgeous converted warehouse interiors (think: exposed beams, polished concrete floors, expansive floor space etc). Would easily fit a couple hundred for an event/meeting and to tie it all off, I by chance met one of the owners who is just lovely, down to earth and all about nourishing the community with good tunes, good food, good ambiance and memorable events.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Will keep coming back (with others too)!!!
Thanks for providing the Inner West with this gem!

The food was beautiful, I loved the gluten free options, the chef was kind enough to offer us a complimentary dish and explained how it was cooked to ensure we had the option to take it. Great staff and service.

We have been to this wonderful restaurant twice now. We travel from Dural to go here. We are both gluten and dairy free and the staff provide changes to the menu items to suit our dietary needs. The meals taste divine. This time we had the mango chicken, lamb spinach and mixed vegetables. Couldn’t fault a thing. We will definitely keep coming back.
What a surprise this little cafe was - the food was delicious! I got the confit duck benny which they could accomodate to make gluten free and it was decadent but so worth it!!
Known for delightful tacos and an accommodating vibe, this spot maintains its charm and affordability after relocating to Newtown.

The tacos are really good. They used to be close to Redfern station and I would go there often. I’m glad to see the prices and the food is the same after they moved to Newtown! I really recommend this place, they also have corn (gluten free) tortillas
They've just introduced a new menu including new teas and drinks. The new menu is extensive and choosing what you'll have to eat is definitely requires time. I selected Johnny's high protein scramble with egg white, salmon, bacon, quinoa and greens - it was very yummy and filling.
The team make their own desserts too, with a focus on dairy free or gluten free options. One day I'll head back to try the baklava, oh and the new tea range coming in mid Jan 2015.
Experience exceptional service in a cozy atmosphere, perfect for special occasions, all while enjoying great value and a diverse wine selection.

We had the best New Years Eve lunch. The food , such good value at $65 for 2 courses & the wine list is really varied. You must have the scallops & duck. They also make their own bread including gluten free for moi. BUT to top it off & what made it extra special was Nick the owner & Marcello. I am a Melbourne gal & I have never experienced such amazing intimate waiter service. I feel like we have made 2 more friends in Sydney.
