An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! Our dinner for four at Rick Shores was nothing short of perfection. We were lucky enough to score the best seats in the house, which set the tone for an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and our waitress deserves special recognition for her exceptional attention and vibrant personality. With a severe coeliac and a peanut allergy at our table, dining out can often feel daunting, but not here. Our waitress took the time to thoroughly address our concerns, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring every dish was prepared with care. Her patience, professionalism and undeniable flair made us feel at ease and her genuine kindness was the cherry on top. And the food—absolutely divine! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The kitchen’s ability to accommodate allergies without compromising on quality or taste was impressive and we’re happy to report our guest with allergies “survived the night” without a hitch. For coeliacs, this restaurant is a shining example of how it should be done. Rick Shores delivered on every front: ambience, service and food. Thank you for an evening that left us all raving. Great quirky atmosphere when you've had enough of "corporate" looking cafe's. Martine and her team always make you feel so welcome. Coffee's great and they bake all their delicious food in house. Lots of Gluten Free goodies too. Love it!! ❤️

As a family of celiacs on a road trip I can honestly rate Waxen 100%. It was so nice to be able to pop off the highway and be able to get a quick lunch that was tasty, satisfying and affordable. I’d love to stop by again to eat in.

I just wanted to give a shout out to your team at social brew. I usually come on the weekends when it is exceptionally busy and the staff are always so friendly, engaging and helpful. It is very rare to have this consistent experience every time you go into a cafe especially when you’re in such a busy location. Your management team is doing an excellent job at cultivating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Keep it up! And please never get rid of the PB gluten free brownies- best brownie I’ve ever had and I’ve likely tried them all on the coast!

It is unfortunate that the lowest you can rate someone is 1 star, equally so, in this situation it is unfortunate that there are only 5 stars as a maximum when this place definitely earned 7 in every respect today for our lunchtime experience. The majestic setting and gorgeous maritime views just wrapped our meal in the warm fuzzies that it respectfully commanded . Being one half of a chef couple, neither of us could fault a thing on our plates and the casual yet highly attentive service from our waiter , James , was incredibly knowledgeable. Most of the menu either was already or could be prepared gluten free, much to the delite of my wife who is a coeliac. We had the freshest snapper ever and the tastiest tuna and avocado I have had the pleasure to consume. I highly recommend this place to dine, for any occasion.

Had my birthday here , they kindly sorted our table out the “back” which is my opinion is that best spot ! We had 1 gluten free and one vegetarian and the chiefs so generously gave us the set menu and created plates for our vege and gluten friends and it just made the whole experience great The food alone is enough to recommend this place over and over again , but the chiefs are wonderful the staff are equally as wonderful, the whole place is just WONDERFUL , it has a beautiful atmosphere I cannot recommend it enough ,it’s is by far my favourite spot in the Gold Coast Thanks guys for a great night If

Wow! The food is seriously AMAZING! The service was also outstanding. It is now my new favourite place in Burleigh. I had the Pablo with a gluten free bun. The bun was amazing, texture and taste of a quality white wheat flour bun. The kumara fries and accompanying sauce were great too. Everyone loved their burgers. We’ll definitely return to Ze Pickle, nice to see there are some close to where we live in Brisbane. P.S. these are the best gluten free buns I’ve ever had. In a different league to all others I’ve tried.

We had dinner at Osteria del Mare and it was absolutely beautiful. We were served by Jaz and she was one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had. She was super chill, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of tasty gluten free options too! Highly recommend!

These wraps are delicious & healthy. I love that they are gluten free too. My favourite is the Tassie Salmon with extra avocado & organic egg. I am also dairy-free, so it's nice to have options with that too. My ONLY gripe is the price. A Tassie Salmon wrap base price is $20 & once you ad $3 for extra egg & $1 for extra avocado, it becomes a $24 wrap that is not huge by any stretch of the imagination. I believe they'd sell an absolute tonne more if they dropped the price by $5 across the range. It's the only thing holding my work colleagues back from ordering Mio wraps more regularly (we are close to the Burleigh location). Everyone loves them but also complain they are overpriced for what they are & so we often end up ordering food from elsewhere because of it. Good but exxy.

Not a lot of gluten free options, but the guy who served us said the sweet potato wedges were one of his faves and were gluten free. They really were amazing. Tasty, hot and just the right amount of salt. Could have gone another serve hehe. Amazing Customer Service 😊
