Overpriced, low end of mediocre food served quickly in a blandly functional atmosphere reminiscent of a generic hotel breakfast lounge.
Went here for breakfast. The food was... Not great. For a place called Biscuits and Waffles, we expected the biscuits and waffles to be pretty good. We were disappointed.
My waffle was merely bland and spongy, soaking up the maple syrup cup without really changing the flavor. Inoffensive, but not exactly bad. The bacon I had with it was a bit overcooked, but again, inoffensive.
My friend's biscuit and egg, however, was apparently rather unpleasant*. It was basically dry bread that tasted like too much baking soda in a vague biscuit shape. The egg was all right, nothing special.
*Apparently their biscuits are gluten free, so maybe that's just what those are like. I don't know.
All in all, it's far from the worst breakfast I've ever had, but I've also had much better at the same price point.
In a trendy spot with a large menu, it's a go-to for tasty allergy-friendly options and a chilled atmosphere perfect for hanging out.

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated as they were busy. Obviously popular so that's good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu and much appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly.

Nowhere compares to the quality. Both gluten free and dairy free options, and they don’t pack a ton of sugar in anything where it’s hard to eat. I’ve never ordered something that made me feel bad or give me any sugar rushes. Big fan of this place.
A must-visit for an extensive menu, fantastic vibes, and great service, ensuring everyone leaves with smiles and satisfied stomachs!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! My partner has celiac and they have a full gluten free menu. We go at least once a month. I highly recommend for ANYONE!
My husband and I got our wedding cake and cupcakes done through Pearl's, and we are so happy with how everything turned out! We had a complimentary tasting a few months before. We had gluten-free and vegan guests, and Pearl's was able to make cupcakes for those needs which was really important to us. They worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!
An awesome spot with a lively vibe, cool drinks, and some of the best burgers around, plus great indoor/outdoor seating for a fun experience!

Went for a late lunch after visiting the Childrens Museum. The burgers were phenomenal, very tasty beef and homemade gluten free buns. Duck fat fries were an extra special treat. Topped it all off with milkshakes.

Great alternative brunch spot! Excellent GF waffles (both sweet and savory), but GF protein choices are limited. This spot consistently makes a kick ass cup of coffee.

I am gluten free and dairy free (by choice) the food was amazing. The drinks were also fantastic. The bartender, I believe his name was Owen, checked on me multiple times and made a great Moscow mule. I will 100000% be coming back. For those fellow gluten free dairy free folks, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had.
My first google review because I would like to let my fellow allergy ridden people know this is the spot!

Fun Creperie in Richmond. When you get to the building you have to walk up the stairs and the door opens up to a main floor. The hallway you face looks like a little town. The hostess will greet you and ask what your seating prefer. They have the option of outdoor seating, there is also an upstairs floor.
They have a lot of options for crepes, including nin crepe items. There are cocktails and hot drinks. I also noticed a kids menu, vegetarian and gluten free options. This trip is my first here and I ordered two crepes a savory and sweet. The savory one was the Carbonara crepe. This crepe looked fancy and tasted rich. The crepes are packed full. Personally I found it a bit too rich or salty, not sure if it was the pesto adding to an already cheesy chicken bacon filled crepe. The sweet crepe I ordered was the Tirimisu. The tirimisu crepe was decadent and delicious and very filling.
Overall it was a great experience. I did find their hours a little later (most Creperies I have come across are open in the morning). At the time of this review they opened at 11 am on Saturday.
Experience a vibrant menu with an impressive selection and delicious cocktails in a spacious, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for families.

12/10. This place is phenomenal. The food and service were both top notch. Also, lucky for me they have A LOT of gluten free options, for those who have allergies or sensitivities to gluten. I figured they would have at least a few options but according to our server, either the owner or the head chef has celiac so they try to incorporate several gluten free options for guests.
So we ordered the fried broccolette, the seven hills 16 oz ribeye, and the Greg’s catch of the day. The broccolette might not sound that interesting but it was actually super delicious and 10 times better than we thought it would be. We only ordered after our server (i think her name is Kat) recommended it. The ribeye was really good on its own, but the Greg’s catch was the pride and joy of the evening. I didn’t know what panisse was before this evening and now I know it’s one of my favorite food items. It was paired with a trout/salmon like fish and it had a sauce spread all around it too. That dish would be my recommendation to anyone. Our server, Kat, explained a lot to us and was super helpful with recommendations. Definitely coming back.
Enjoy a lively vibe with a retro feel, full bar, and sports on flatscreens—perfect for a casual hangout with friends!

So I ordered a gluten-free burger and fries the other day from this establishment. My sister also ordered from them. When the order came the buns on the sandwiches looked the same. So I called them and said did you get this order wrong because the buns look the same. (because one of the burgers was supposed to have a gluten-free bun). The guy who answered the phone talked fast with no solution to the problem. He never said that he would refund the order and start over or anything that an establishment that cares about their patrons would do. By the way my sister's order was jacked up had things on the sandwich she did not order and things that she ordered on the sandwich was not on the sandwich.

I'm gluten, dairy and soy free. I have been getting their south lamb without cilantro sauce on a gluten free bun. I can also have their salad with house vinegarette. Their fries are fantastic and the combo of the sweet and salty in the south lamb is fantastic.

We had a great lunch at this restaurant. We ordered the meza platter and two side dishes, which were all delicious. We have been to this restaurant before when it was located on the west side, and we were not disappointed with the menu after it moved to its new location. We were so impressed with our lunch that we also ordered the chicken swarmha to take out. The fact that they have gluten-free options was appreciated, as one of us requested it. The service was excellent, with a friendly and helpful waitress.
With a menu that changes regularly, this spot offers a variety of unique dishes and delicious mocktails, ensuring a fresh experience each visit.

There are so many good things to eat here, and they are excellent about indicating gluten free items on the menu. Excellent service and we love the patio almost year-round. Favorites: any tamales on the specials menu, both mocktails, their ceviches, and the birria tacos (maybe my favorite birria in Richmond). The tostados de pescado are the only thing I've ever disliked there. Much saltier than necessary.
A must-visit with an impressive beer selection and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for those looking to spice things up with hot sauce.

Give me Liberty or give me death!!! I felt like death leaving this place. And you will wait for your food to hit the table...
Man, let me start by saying, "Table of 4, holiday weekend, kick off, so the team decided to grab lunch together, COOL."
I am a 1st and LAST timer......
My order: Ol' Faithful (scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, biscuit, and hashbrowns)
I wanted a side order of pancakes. Well, the waitress wanted to give me an entire pancake meal, and I asked for just 1 side order (a la carte).
The pancakes only (side order) were $12 for 3 that were not edible.
Photo: My food and pancakes were dusty dry inside. Couldn't cut with a knife. They were tough. At clean up, I found out it was gluten-free. No thanks
Others: enjoyed their meal, one inhaled the burger, not sure if she tasted it.
Everyone eats, and we are heading out, returning to the office. Instantly, I needed to sit down and center myself. Felt loopy, headache, nauseous not just me, all of us!!!!
One took a 15-minute nap to try to bounce back, I am flushing with water, and the others are in the bathroom. So, notification are being made to our job because something is clearly off and we all are not sure what is going on....we left the office and directly to get lunch to return directly back to the office. ( I fast until 1100hrs, this was my first meal for the day)
The best way I explained it, feeling loopy like when I eat Chinese food and forget to tell them no MSG.
Nothing on the menu states cooked with MSG.
Called the location just to check if they cook with MSG, Alexia/Alexis (manager) heard my issue, quickly put me on hold to check a sauce they cook with; returned to say no MSG in the building. But you have a sauce you cook with, ok.
Yeah, I will pass on this one. You all enjoy, thou...

The service was very good and prompt here. The staff was very polite and attentive. The food was super good and I was very pleased with how many gluten free options were available. Around half of the items were either gluten free already or had a gluten free option, which I find impressive. Usually, other restaurants might have 2 out of 8 main dishes with gluten free options, but not here.
Biggest issue was trying to find street parking before hand. Good luck with that! Unless you’re lucky on street parking will be closer to 2nd or 3rd street on broad. I do think there’s a parking garage that’s closer but I’m not sure of the cost.
Anyway, I will be back for sure! Oh and I really recommend the shrimp and scallops over polenta for the secondi (second course). That was MAGNIFICENT!
Experience delightful dishes in a charming atmosphere with generous portions and a touch of elegance that sets it apart from typical takeout.

Tasty food in a lovely space. The service was very fast and attentive. There are many gluten free options(be sure to let your server know you want the GFO) All our food was delicious and the serving size was generous. It’s pricier than your everyday take out, but this restaurant has wonderful quality. Can’t wait to return to Peter Chang’s!

First time dining here. Great dog friendly porch. Had a fabulous lunch/brunch. They have multiple gluten free options on the menu. Service was great and staff went out of their way to make sure our dog had it's own water bowl and shady spot to get out of the sun. The food was terrific. I had a breakfast bowl with pork bbq. Huge portion that I couldn't finish. Can't wait to come back for Supper!

I got the classic station2 burger!! Gluten free bun!! It was really good. The bun was sooo soft and delicious. The burger was thick so it could’ve used a lot more seasoning. The chili was okay, there were too many beans in my opinion and I wish they gave me more cheese to add in it but it was still pretty good. yummy! I wish they had a dedicated gluten free fryer because I would’ve been able to get fries here instead of somewhere else.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Cap Ale downtown and could not have been happier! They were super easy to work with, made accommodations for allergies/dietary restrictions, and the whole thing was super reasonably priced. And of course, all the food and drinks were delicious!
My wife and I are both gluten-free and dairy-free, and we decided to not have dessert since the two options on our pre-set menu weren’t gf and df. The team at Cap Ale took it upon themselves to provide a dairy-free, gluten-free cheesecake for the two of us to share! It was amazing and really left an impression that they took the time to do this. Huge shout out to Jessica who took great care of our whole party, and to Amber who helped us with booking.

Three years ago I stopped by here on a whim. I had gotten tired of eating at the same restaurants, and wanted to try something different. Thank God I did! I’m gluten free and dairy free (and very picky), and can dine here with no issues. The food has always been great. Most importantly, I made friends with the owner, Tom, during my frequent visits. Tom works very hard and puts his all into this place. I’ve observed him dealing with his regulars, with the new folks, and with the not-so-nice folks. He handles everything with such grace! I’ve since brought other members of my family, and he always asks about them. The other servers who have been there awhile know my face and always ask where I have been if it’s been some time since I last visited. Although I work in a different city now, I still do my best to come back here because this place is so special. If you haven’t tried Pho1Grill yet, please do! :D

Myself and my party had a wonderful brunch. We were celebrating a successful bridal dress pick and engagement. Our waitress Sophie was lovely. Drinks and good was overall tasty. I was glad my vegan and gluten intolerant friends were able to find food they enjoyed. One of the shrimp dishes had a sauce that needed more body, but overall it was a good experience. Definitely would come again!

My partner and I went to Carrabba's on a Saturday in April around 11:30am. We were seated right away and it was not busy. We were served bread and oil and ordered calamari as an appetizer. Our meals came with either soup or salad also. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We both ordered pasta dishes and I got their gluten-free noodles. It's really a hit-or-miss with gluten-free noodles, but these were delicious!! We were overall really impressed with everything! The wait staff were responsive and friendly as well. One of my favorite spots in all of Richmond, with fresh pasta made right behind the counter. Yes, it is known they have the best smoked salmon in town (and reasonably priced). But their to-go meals, especially the microwave friendly ones, are also fantastic values (~$8).
Their fresh and dried pastas are outstanding and come in shapes and flavor profiles you can't find elsewhere (the black pepper linguine is so simple yet insanely good; they have gluten free options, as well). Their jarred sauces are as tasty as any I've had; I prefer them to Rao's, for example, and they're $1-2 less.
This isn't a comprehensive Italian market where you can find every imported good known to humankind, it's a curated selection with the majority made in house, which is rare these days.
The family who runs it and the folks who work there are wonderful, as well. It's always a pleasure visiting Bombolini and I'm grateful to live within walking distance.

I'm a gluten free girl (celiac) and was blown away by how delicious the food was last night. I got the part of the special (apple fennel salad with peanut dressing) and THE WOW. My sister has wanted to try this place for a while so we went when I was visiting her and wanted to get pizza. So worth it!
It's hard to find good gluten-free pizza that still tastes good and this place did it nicely. I went basic with a Margherita to test it and we got to see them make it. It was delicious and not too saucy, even though it was light on cheese. My sister got the regular Spicy Goat since she can eat gluten and loves hot honey and adored it. She said she almost could've finished it. She also tried some of my Margherita and said it was good, which is high praise since she doesn't like GF food usually.
We want to return and try their tacos sometime. And definitely get more pizza too!
Except dairy (cheese) and honey, all the other items are vegan
They have vegan cheese and dairy cheese as options
Their gluten free bread contains eggs, the regular gluten bread is vegan
