We celebrated my son's 18th birthday at “Villa le Cisterne”. What can I say...Beautiful location, very well looked after. We were super pampered by all the staff and then a big thank you goes to chef Davide, who delighted our palates with his dishes. We had a wonderful evening. Everything impeccable. Good job, everyone. Super recommended
I forgot that the guests with food intolerances happily ate their gluten-free meal.

Modern and welcoming place.
The waiter who served us was good and friendly, he made us feel good.
The seafood risotto was really delicious and the spaghetti too.
Unfortunately the tuna steak and the mixed grill were not up to the standard of the first courses.
However, the stars also go for the gluten-free choice which I can make both the fried calamari and the cutlet. Packaged gluten-free bread to eat together with an excellent oil.
Enjoy a cozy spot with a sea vibe, offering a menu rich in classic dishes and standout options that deliver on quality and flavor.

Very good gluten-free fried fish, well made. In general good food, honest prices, very courteous waiters, nice place. Very recommended for those with celiac disease (and not only) who want to eat well!

All very good, even gluten-free, it's best to let them know a day in advance so you can also enjoy the mixed fried food and bread.
I recommend asking for prices displayed on the board.

I have been to this restaurant twice and both times I have eaten as I should, both for the "normal" cuisine and for the gluten-free cuisine, a guarantee. Everything is fresh and exceptional. Compliments

We ordered a variety of dishes to try, but it was extremely disappointing. The pasta tasted like gluten-free cardboard, and the sauces felt like a confused attempt at fusion — neither bold nor balanced. Some plates looked like they came straight from a cafeteria tray. Honestly, I’m still bitter about the whole experience.

We returned a year later and the quality of the food, view and service are still impeccable. Among the dishes taken, we fell in love with the sesame and honey crusted tuna. I have celiac disease and I am always surprised by the amount of gluten-free choices and the attention with which they cook the dishes. Thank you very much, we will be back!

Super welcome from the owner who was very kind and available to accommodate our requests (a gluten-free first course for my daughter and without spices for me). Perfect value for money, the busiate with Mazara prawns were delicious.

Great delicatessen and restaurant with house made bread (non house made gluten free bread available for sandwiches). The restaurant has a great variety of food options good for those that are gluten free or vegetarian. Kind staff and very reasonable prices and the food is filling and healthful. To try a variety, get the mixed plate option.

Amazing! One of the the best restaurants in Taormina and the value for money is incredible. The staff are kind, attentive and knowledgeable. I don’t eat red meat or gluten - they told me I could do the fish tasting menu and they’d swap the pasta course for something else. We chose a la carte just because we didn’t think we could eat a whole tasting menu and it was delicious. We started with some bubble suggestion by the som and had a great bottle of wine as well. The olive oil was delicious, the gluten free bread was really good and the food was not only beautifully presented but also so flavorful. I would highly recommend this place and I’m shocked they don’t have a M Star yet.

Good food, nothing to say, welcoming place but there are things to improve.
Service a little poor, non-existent waiters who you have to ask for things several times and above all look for them because they never come out to ask (only one was polite but still not attentive). Another flaw: Prices too high in my opinion. Another piece of advice when offering gluten-free food and I'm very happy that there is attention to this, it would be nice to also have an option for dessert, simple ice cream would be enough to make us happy.

Very good dinner we tasted the mixed starter and the prawn pasta, panna cotta for dessert. Everything impeccably tasty and adequate portions. Excellent table service. The gluten-free option was perfect, you could choose everything except the fried foods which were not possible to have gluten-free. Average high price.

I ate gluten-free, I didn't have any problems.
The sweet parmigiana was excellent, one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. Starters and fish main courses are also excellent.

We wanted to eat an ice cream and they had no choice, I asked if the coffee cream was gluten free and the answer was "I don't know", in the evening we asked for two takeaway pizzas and they answered No because if they made them for us other people also asked for pizza takeaway, we wanted to sit at the table and even there the response was negative since they had only prepared pizzas for a certain number of people. Bad experience, we won't be back!

Fantastic experience, excellent food and very fresh and high quality raw materials. Great attention was paid especially to intolerances, in particular the gluten-free dishes were identical to the normal dishes, and this is a rarity.
Congratulations to all the staff, friendly and kind and to the owner, a truly nice person.

Excellent restaurant, the quality and preparation of the food is impeccable. Furthermore, there is great attention to gluten free, from bread to desserts, of which there were 5 choices. Equally excellent quality/price ratio.
