Genuinely pleasantly surprised. Despite the crowds, very smooth and well served by a clearly professional team. I eat gluten-free and vegetarian and that combination often limits my menu options to one dish. But here it turned out to be an adapted menu with 3 gluten-free-vegetarian main courses alone. I’ve been living in Maastricht for 6 years now and every time one of my friends or my family visit me here, I take them here for brunch. The atmosphere is super cozy, the personnel is incredibly nice and the food is delicious! I also love the variety that they bring in the menu through seasonal specials, and no matter if you eat anything or if you have any restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten, allergies etc), you will find great options on their menu. It can get a bit packed around 10/11 am though, so I would recommend coming earlier for brunch☺️

The owner is the soul of this business: she cooks with passion and knows how to perfectly convey the flavors of authentic Italy. They have gluten free bagels and staff are very knowledgeable although it might depend who is on duty. I asked for the allergen menu which is quite detailed, breaking down all the ingredients with their allergens. Went with the safest option which was a plain bagel with cheese cream. When asked for the omelette bagel they advised against it due to contamination (not exactly sure why but I took their advise)
If I had to suggest something, it's for the waiters to bring food on a separate dish to avoid cross contamination

We were with a large group and were seated separately upstairs in a room, there was some background music but it was very unsociable. The door makes a lot of noise. Also the orders did not go completely right, there was one drink too many and a sandwich was forgotten. There were options available for gluten and cow's milk protein allergy.

Gluten free (due to celiac disease) was adhered to and they knew their stuff!
But what is very negative: for two normal burgers (the first on the list at 18.95 each) that were so incredibly dry that the bun fell apart and felt like it had been warmed up again from the day before, two cokes and a small fries with mayo (fries totally greasy) €74.50 is just absolutely cheeky! Not again!

Ate with a large group upstairs, food is okay but certainly not special. The small salads as a starter are quite large. Each main course comes with a standard salad with a lot of dressing, actually a waste. The salmon was unfortunately dry and with the pasta with salmon the salmon was not baked, both were disappointing. You also have to pay extra for gluten-free options, it is nice that the options are there but a considerable surcharge.

Choice of pancakes but also hamburgers and other dishes. We did not think the amount of cheese on the pancakes was necessary but otherwise they were tasty pancakes. (Did not know there would be cheese on everything). There was also asparagus soup and asparagus pancakes. Gluten-free was also possible.

Ordered gluten free bread for my daughter as she has celiac. It was our first time trying the gluten free option and we were surprised that the bread is like gluten we asked the employee many times and she said it's gluten free. My daughter got some pain but we thought she got a cross contamination somewhere although we are completely gluten free at home.
