Took a friend to lunch today and I have to say it was such a great experience! The food was great and the customer service was amazing from the waitress Celina to the Manager Shiraz who made it a point to come and ensure that everything was okay as I had a gluten sensitivity. He also gave us a free dessert for an error in an order which was totally not necessary but very much appreciated. A really great experience! Will definitely go back!

Upon entry, no one was at the front and when someone finally came, no friendly greeting was offered. I was given attitude when I asked for a booster for child and was initially told they may not have one. We eventually got one. The treatment was as if our presence was an annoyance. When ordering, I explained to the server that I had an allergy. She told me she understood but her behavior and attitude about it told me otherwise. Firstly, I asked for gluten-free options and although she did go back to the kitchen to ask questions, she returned with little information. I asked for my order not to be spicy due to acid reflux disease. Instead, extra jalapeños where added to the dish. When I brought it her attention, she smiled and nodded. Didn't offer any solution, alternative or even apology and charged for the meal. Normally at restaurants when I indicate my allergies, the manager comes out to speak to me for clarification. No one came to speak to me. I've been to this restaurant many times, this was truly disappointing.

This is a 5+ star restaurant! Our first time back since covid and what a treat! Lively night, food was AMAZING and our server Olivia T, was phenomenal! I have gluten and dairy allergies and she took the time to double check things for me and made excellent recommendations, not making me feel like I was annoying her like other places do . . . So much more for me to try each time we come back! She was very attentive, energetic, happy and very pleasant!! My husband had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and said it was incredible!! (a bit of heat with the jalapeños). Enjoyed every bite! Said the best Mac & Cheese he's had! I Had the Cajun Tahini Bowl with grilled chicken and a few modifications, and it was fabulous, I would totally have it again! You should try both of these dishes, you will not be disappointed!! Oh, and the presentation . . . Wow, not what I expected given the casual feel, everything was plated beautifully. We will totally be back weekly for sure! Thank you Olivia for all your efforts and enthusiasm! I should have taken a picture but it looked so good and we were starving so we started eating right away.

Amazing service, and obviously amazing burritos. I have coeliac disease and out of almost every fast food takeout place I eat from this is the only one that takes care in preparing my order. I never get any gluten reactions as they make sure to change their gloves and use parchment paper while grilling my burrito. The people who work here are amazing.

Very pleasant atmosphere to dine. Vibrant and lively in the summer ☀️. There is nothing like being by the water. The waiter was so friendly and patient with us . The mussels are really good. The Calamari was really fresh but being gluten sensitive I did not have much. The shrimp dish was good and the trout was good as well. Go ahead and try the frozen Marguerite it's good the only thing missing is to get some corona beer in it.

Had their grilled salmon cobb salad and it was amazing. Grilled salmon was perfectly done without being dry. A slice of bacon for the win. Service is amazing. One of the supervisors asked if anyone had dietary restrictions then proceeded to ask whether it was okay to come into contact with other ingredients. My friend is GF but is okay for her meal to touch gluten. I appreciate that because some have restrictions by choice while others are by allergies or religion so cross contamination shouldn’t happen.

She was very attentive to our needs, especially my wife's, who has celiac disease (a severe gluten allergy), as well as an allergy to shelf-fish and shrimp. Thanks again, Chyna. Went on a warm Monday night and got a seat on the patio right away. I have Celiac disease and am always nervous to eat at new restaurants. By chance, our server Kara is also a Celiac, which literally made my night 100% better! She walked me through the whole menu and assured me she would follow up with the kitchen to make sure Celiac protocols were followed. My husband and I each had 2 tacos and a margarita, all delicious! Mine were on gluten free corn tortillas and I felt like I could actually relax and eat my food without worry, which is super rare when I’m always concerned about cross contamination when eating at a non-gluten free restaurant. Thank you Kara for taking the time for a fellow Celiac, even though you also had a massive 20 person party to also serve!

The Keg Heartland never disappoints! The restaurant is large, accessible, has a substantial bar, plenty of seating options and relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. The customer service is exceptional, consistently friendly, attentive and thorough. Their portions are generous, and the food is always fresh, appetizing and prepared to perfection. They offer a comprehensive menu with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options, and cater to dietary restrictions such as reduced salt. With regard to food and drinks, everything on the menu is delicious but my favourites include the mouth watering steaks, garlic mashed potatoes, caesar salad, lobster bisque, crab cakes, cheesecake, Billy Miner Pie and red sangria. We have been coming here for years and are always incredibly satisfied with the service, food and overall dining experience, making it a family favourite for celebrations and dinners out. Highly recommend it!

Our group of 27 had a wonderful time at the Crooked Cue on Saturday. I have dined there before but didn't know about the many menu options available for parties. The "Canadian Buffet" was excellent. There were choices for everyone - meat lovers, gluten sensitive, and vegetarians included. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is super cozy and delicious! Our server Tanya was amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. I have a serious gluten allergy and she was very informative about different menu options. Great customer service. I will always go back especially for Tanya's service she made everything EXCELLENT!

Really fun spot for a nice dinner out. The decor is cool and the windows look out over the marina in the credit river. We had the mushroom risotto and the goat cheese gnocchi, cheesecake and creme brule, and all were delicious. With wine and a shared appetizer and coffee, it came out to about $100/person. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the overall vibe was great. Lots of vegetarian options and several items had gluten free alternatives (though we didn't try those so i can't speak for them).

Had a great experience at moxie. Wife has a serious gluten allergy. The waitress and manager were very helpful in making sure her order was correct And giving her lots of options to pick. Lots of places make us feel like a burden but they made us feel right at home. After learning of the seriousness of the allergy the manager or gm can remember. Went to this Italian place tonight not knowing what to expect was the 2 year anniversary, not only did they include us in the celebration offering free appies and a complimentary drink. I’ve been to Famoso a few times and always enjoy the Margherita pizza. Really appreciate the gluten free crust option. On my latest visit, a birthday celebration , the service was super friendly and we had a great time. Will be returning again.

On Mondays they have a Two Can Dine deal which is awesome. My wife and I are gluten-free, so we can only eat gluten free burritos. The GF wraps they use here are actually great! Anyway, we wanted to do the two can dine deal, but apparently head office says the deal only applies to the superior race of humans who have the coveted ability to properly digest gluten. But the wonderful young lady pulled some strings and added the few dollars of difference (because getting a GF burrito is only like a dollar or two more), just so that we plebs can also benefit from the deal. We are so grateful! Nom nom.

If you're looking for a delicious vegetarian meal, Veggie Flame is the perfect spot. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, as well as vegan and gluten-free dishes. The food is nice, and conforting. The pizza are huge, so a small one for 1 person is more than enough

3.8* - Considering its a chain, the patties were fresh and tasty! I had the Teen burger special 2 for $8.99. Subbed it for a lettuce bun! Great fresh patties and ingredients. For my celiac friends, fries are not gluten free - fried with other battered items.

I ordered via uber eats. I saw a few items listed as gluten free on the takeout menu, so I ordered those. I wrote in the notes that I am gluten free. Food arrived with gluten free written on the box and on the soy sauce containers. It was nice that they took the time to assure me they saw my dietary restrictions. The sushi was DELICIOUS! This will be my go to for future take out sushi. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

The best Keg location in SWON! Consistently good quality and portions, fantastic staff who are beyond friendly and go above and beyond for their guests. Food is always fresh and fantastic, cooked perfectly, and with attention to my husband's gluten allergy. The Keg is always a good choice - great prime rib, steaks, warm bread and Billy Miner pie are classics and never disappoint. The staff is what truly makes this place amazing - Shell, Tanisha, Sarah - we were so glad to still see them here after not visiting for 18mos and they remembered us immediately. Can't wait to come back (hopefully sooner than 18mos)!

Went on Mother's Day! We had someone else seat us but we had fantastic server. We had met her previously about a week ago and she told us to come back for Mother's Day. I forget her name, but she was extremely helpful. I have extreme allergies to milk and eggs, so anything vegan is paramount and they were extremely helpful in showing me what I can and cannot have. I could also exchange any item for a vegan (or gluten free) counterpart, if they had one (which they most likely had). Will definitely return here! We had the signature raspberry and chocolate pot, and the Oh So Delicious (Yummy?) Waffle. Amazing. All fresh fruit too! Amazing waffles for being vegan.

Friendly and fast service with great burritos. They have a list of Allergy containing foods posted by the cash register. They accommodate Celiacs (gluten allergies) very well. They offered to change the utensils and gloves and also used a different section of ingredients that was closed off and probably had no contact with allergens. Kudos to Burrito Boyz!

**Earls – Square One, Mississauga** I recently visited Earls for lunch, and overall, the experience was okay. The service was a bit slow at first; it took a while to get my coffee, though I'm not sure what the delay was. Unfortunately, the fries arrived cold and overly salty, so I had to send them back. Thankfully, the staff gladly replaced them with a fresh batch. On the bright side, the main course was impressive. The steak was really good, and the ribs were fantastic—tender and falling off the bone. They were served with the sauce on the side, as I requested, to avoid gluten. The ambiance at Earls is vibrant and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. Located in the bustling Square One area, it's surrounded by a lively atmosphere with plenty of shopping and entertainment options nearby. Despite the initial hiccups, the quality of the food made up for it. While the service could use some improvement, I'd consider giving it another try for those tasty mains.
