Loved my experience here the staff were super kind and helpful, I rang beforehand and was made to feel super welcome and when I arrived I was told all the safety measures put in place such as a seperate gf fryer and working area. I had the fried chicken burger it was okay, the bread tasted a bit sconish and the chicken was a little underseasoned but the Kumara fries were insanely good! Would love to try one of the other burgers :)

Great place to get a burger for a coeliac, though only if you go on a day the buns are fresh! I went twice, and the first time my gf bun was really nice, but the second time it completely broke apart within the first two bites, making it too hard to eat without a knife and fork. These are things we deal with as gluten free people anyway, so it wasn’t surprising, but a little disappointing after such a good bun the time before. Otherwise the burgers were great, the chicken nuggets were really nicely cooked, and the chips were yum too!

I have coeliac disease and ordered gf food from here. I told them I was coeliac and I had a reaction after eating from here. My partner contacted the store afterwards and they did not seem to really care at all. I will not return.

One of the best meals of our trip. Octopus starter followed by Blue Warehou (fish special)/lamb (all superbly cooked) and orange cake. Coeliac friendly with excellent cocktails and a great selection of wines. What’s not to like? 10/10

We have been going to Tutto Bene quite regularly in the past five years and have never been disappointed. Food is excellent, the service is great and the atmospher is fine. It might be a little bit noisy when there are lots of loud people around but still better than other places where you have to shout. They do two services in the evening so if you go for the first service you are notified that you have to leave the table at 7:30pm. So don't loose time when ordering your meal. Gluten free options are limited (well, Italian food is all about gluten 😕) but you can still enjoy a nice main or go for GF pizza 🍕 😋

This is my absolute favorite spot for group dinners. Every time I come here, I order the karaage mushrooms and cabbage. My guests are usually skeptical as to why I'm ordering vegetables when dining out as opposed to meat. But without fail, they end up loving the mushrooms the most. The cabbage is also light, refreshing, and surprisingly delicious. This is a great place for sharing, with plenty of dishes to try, and splitting the cost makes it very cheap. The sushi tacos are another highlight—I’ve tried three fish-based ones so far, and they’ve all been fantastic. I usually struggle to enjoy raw fish in New Zealand after experiencing better quality in the islands, but Bar Yoku is one of the few places I trust for consistently good seafood. I’ve never left disappointed. If you visit, definitely request a sunken table. They’re super comfortable and turn it into an experience rather than just a meal. I've come here multiple times with people who have allergies, eg. gluten, nuts, and vegan diet requirements. This has never been an issue, and the food still remains delicious! A special mention to the staff, too—every server I’ve had here knows the menu inside and out, is aware of any changes, and is always professional and friendly. They create a welcoming atmosphere with zero awkwardness or judgment, which, unfortunately, isn’t always the case at some places.

Also available gluten free It's good that GF and VG menus are always displayed in NZ. I had honey ginger tea and VG salad. A cafe with a great atmosphere by the sea I was able to talk to my friend fairly slowly.

We were really surprised at how good the pizza was considering Hell Pizza is a chain restaurant. It was really good - and that was even with gluten free bases! They even did gluten free garlic bread, and the best bit - they sell vegan EatKinda ice-cream - made from cauliflower!! Super creamy and tasty - and saves cauliflowers deemed not perfect enough for sale at supermarkets, from going to landfill. Just brilliant! Must try :-)

Highly recommend this quirky cafe! Lots of gluten free options, great coffee and such an interesting atmosphere lots of little quirks. They also have a car for kids to play in which kept our 3 year old busy while waiting for food. Highly recommend with kids and for allergies.

Delicious meal enjoyed by all 3 of us dining. We started with the marinated artichokes, warmed olives, and zucchini fries ... then had a pizza each which were the Diavola, Salmone and Capriccosa. All pizzas were fantastic including one which was gluten and dairy free. Service was friendly and the ambience was great too :)

Booked today for lunch thinking would beat the usual Mother’s Day rush - so did everyone else as restaurant was packed but staff were amazing rushing around taking orders - checking on drinks etc and the food was up to usual standard. I have been to two different Lone Stars twice in the last couple of months as a coeliac customer and am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of knowledge and availability of GFO for a coeliac. Get a dedicated air fryer, thicken your sauce with GF cornflour and you would open up options. I can go to Armadillos and get a good steak with mash and and GF mushroom sauce for $10-$15 less. I’m not paying $45 for mash and garlic butter. Sometimes I don’t want a burger!! Honestly, skill up your staff and open the options for those of us who don’t have as many of them. I find eating out a chore and it shouldn’t be at such a large chain especially in todays world.

Me and my partner went here and had lunch on the balcony, absolutely delicious food, albeit smaller portions - but filling. My partner is celiac, so we went for the Gluten Free options as the dishes are made to be shared. We ordered the Thai Black Beef Salad & the Chicken Skewers... no problems, chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was unparalleled. Beef had a little bit of gristle but overall was very tender & flavourful. Will definitely recommend & visit again.

I came here with my aunts and mum for dinner and really enjoyed it! my house dal was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing, service was good. we had a first table booking for 3 and i tagged along at the end but they tried to charge me for a naan and starter along with my soup. after explaining im gluten intolerant and that all I ate was the soup finally after getting the manager it was resolved

Calamari and cauliflower were amazing, great flavour and the dipping for the calamari was particularly inspired. Got the chowder for a main with extra garlic bread for a main, poor waitress forgot until she came back to the table but rectified fairly quickly. Chowder was delicious but nuclear in temperature. We got the pasta for the other main with added fish - the fish was perfectly done, but the pasta was very one dimensional and unbalanced. The staff were very quick to rectify when I asked for it to be coeliac friendly, big kudos to the waiter that stepped in to get that fixed up. Overall pretty good, but got stuck between two loud tables in a corner while the rest of the restaurant appeared empty.

We came in on Good Friday and had the set menu with the 5 cocktails. It was amazing! The server we had (didn't catch his name but had very short hair and an accent) was just awesome. So friendly and helpful. Last time I came to Original Sin, I had terrible heartburn and straight away he mixed up a concoction for me behind the bar that cured it. What doesn't this guy do well?! Your team were also fabulous at being flexible with one of us having coeliac disease. I visited Curators house and the food, service and setting was incredible. Being coeliac, I had to ensure all food was completely gluten free, and thankfully there was quite a large range and all was perfect for me, no gluten at all, believe they use multiple different fryers to ensure no cross contamination. Highly recommend for a coeliac/gluten free diet.

Consistently top quality food and friendly/ attentive service. We have been to The Goldfinch multiple times over the last year and every time, we are blown away by the deliciousness of the food. We are slowly working our way through the menu. Mum is gluten free and a huge portion of the menu is Gluten Free. Even the cannoli! And it is all so yummy! If ya want your meat to full off the bone (as it should). This is the place. clean tables and seats i would liked to of have the time to dinein. After seeing the venue in person the sausages where unexpectedly good and the gluten free burger bun was better that expected Could not tell you what we enjoyed the most as it was all on par with it's self Went to order a cheese cake. And the guy behind the bar kindly remind us there's gluten in base and gave us alternative options 👌👌👌. I would say. 10 stars. But google only lets ua put 5

First of all.. the customer service is incredible! When you place an order over the phone - you feel like you are ringing a friendly mate. I ordered 5 burgers, 4 x the Easterly & 1 x the Hawaiian Laden (celiac friendly) & 4 Fries. I surprised my fiancé and his mates after a long day laying a new driveway! They all were like OMG (you’re amazing!) earned serious brownie points haha THANKS guys! We will be back.. I was just asked again where I got the burgers again! So tasty!

Food is tasty but service and drinks were very slow. We finished our starter before our drinks arrived (15+ mins) so didn’t bother ordering a second round before our tacos (which were tasty). Tacos can be gluten free and a few other options.
