Amazing restaurant with honest, delicious food at a great price, topped only by the care and service from the wait staff. Just a PSA for those with celiac disease. The GF is short for Gluten Friendly not Gluten Free. Never heard of Gluten Friendly so didn't spot this until we got there but it essentially means you can eat it if you have a mild intolerance but nothing more. Only the salads are suitable for people who are celiac so a pretty stink dinner, and we were told the noodles would be replaced but they were just removed so pretty much chicken and leaves. Feel like the servers were doing their best though and we're very apologetic so gave service a 4
Great service and tasty options, but a messy bathroom with no soap left a bad impression.

Service was good as was the food. But the bathroom was disgusting. It was a mess and there was no hand soap, plus the staff weren't busy so no excuses there. The gluten free buns were better than expected/we're used to which was nice.

The food is absolutely stunning, absolutely delicious and full of flavour. I'm coeliac and I've never gotten sick from cross-contamination here. Portion sizes are excellent, you definitely get your moneys worth. And the staff are some of the loveliest, friendliest people, amazing customer service! Highly, highly recommend!

Best place for Indian cuisine in Hamilton - never had a bad experience. Staff are lovely and food is amazing - lots of vegetarian options and almost everything is gluten free.
*** massive bonus is that the staff here are more than happy for customers to bring in their own containers to reduce waste too - very thankful that it’s easy to be a little more green with our takeaway options!

I recently visited this restaurant with my family and had a mixed experience.
While I appreciated the allergy menu and good selection of gluten-free options, the pork belly dish was disappointing. The pork belly was too dry and lacked of crispness on the skin, I was hoping to have that crunchie sound when cutting up.
On a positive note, the prawn and scallop tortellini was impressive and delicious.
However, the food took a bit too long to arrive at the table, which was a bit frustrating. The portions were quite small due to the tapas style of dining, which made it hard to justify the high price.
Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant for the good selection of gluten-free options.
I love the setup of the restaurant and the decor. The food was succulent, flavoursome and hearty! The portion sizes are huge so your in for a good feed. The pricing is higher than most burger joints but it is so worth it - a flavour sensation. The menu suits all! From gluten free, dairy free and a great selection of delicious vege/vegan options. Come on down and give it a try. You will not regret.
Unfortunately, my first experience at Iguana was quite disappointing. Different staff were saying different things regarding food with dietary requirements. After making it very clear that she was gluten free and dairy free, they brought her a dish that contained gluten. After a short while they came rushing back, but some of the food had already been eaten.
A couple weeks later (today), I phoned and asked if they were doing takeaways. A staff member assured me that I could order food and takeaway (as they were fully booked). 30 minutes later, I phoned again to order and another person said that they weren’t doing takeaways. The manager wouldn’t speak with me over the phone and eventually the staff member said, “sorry there was a misunderstanding, it’s too busy to do takeaways”.
It’s a shame that their ribs are actually really good, but their service is quite poor.
Furnace has been our favourite family restaurant for many years. We had dinner there last night. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing: the pork main was just pork fat (likely why one woman was ill in the night); we made a point of asking the waitress for gluten free bread (as one member has celiac) where the waitress checked with the kitchen and advised us that would be ok. However, unbeknown to us "normal" bread was served resulting in a very sick woman the rest of the night; the wine waiter appeared to be quite flustered all evening bringing incorrect drinks to our table and then forgetting drinks we had ordered. Not a relaxing family night out.
Food was fabulous, service was fantastic - as always. It's our first pick for fresh, tasty food that is good value for a family. Great for Vegan food & gluten free beds as well. A great night out.

Fantastic Vietnamese eatery. Everything tasted fresh and was super flavourful. I especially recommend the lemongrass tofu, which was especially rich in flavour.
Almost everything on the menu is gluten and dairy friendly, and also plenty of vegetarian dishes on offer.
Great option for GF Chinese food. Good online ordering. Recommend the pork ams prawn fried rice which can be made

Lovely staff and nice, clean little cafe. Lots of options for gluten-free and vegetarian meals, easy wheelchair access, and have never had issues finding parking.
My daughter had her wedding reception here and the entire experience was awesome. Delicious food, amazing service and devine cocktails. We gave prior notice of one person needing gluten free and they were very well (and safely) looked after. I can't recommend Caffe' Centrale any higher, overall an amazing experience.
Went for a girls night out and it wasn't a great night tbh.
No option to change the spice level on the food, the nachos were ridicously spicy. We checked the menu online before booking for a coeliac friend, got there and the menu was different. Took 45 minutes of back and forth just to find out what she could eat(why didn't the cook/manager come out for 5 minutes) The waiter wasn't great, clearly under staffed but every time we tried to order drinks she took 1 persons order and left while everyone else wanted something multiple times. Very Spicy food with no options to change it and left us with no drinks and no water on the table.
Love this cafe. It would be nice if there were more gluten free savoury options. I don’t like bacon and would like to replace it with avocado in my food selections . Most importantly, the staff are always welcoming, efficient and cheerful.
Wonderful dinner! I love that they had many dairy free and gluten free options, noisy as venue though but we had a great family dinner. Would highly recommend especially if you have allergies!
This place used to be awesome, the young man that worked Friday's made beautiful food...my last 2 orders have fallen terribly short. Today's was the upmost failure, order was incorrect to what I ordered online, then the staff member a tall thin girl argued with me over it being correct. I was going to show her my order confirmation email and what that said but she just said our manager isn't here...like you can't fix it?? Really?? Then I tried again to show her my email and she just walked off...I waited, now my chips are cold and we're overcooked FYI, I'm late for where I need to be and I've got a burger in a gluten free bun so stale I couldn't bite into it with only one slice of tomato the size of a 50c and bacon that was also burnt... disgusting. I gave up and walked out with my incorrect cold order. Not coming back here again and would NOT RECOMMEND anyone bothers with bad service and high prices for sadly bad food. Sad loss...you guys seriously need to pick up your game
