Wonderful service and great space! Our waiter was so nice and knowledgeable. Not to mention their house made Buffalo sauce is one of the most amazing flavors I have ever tasted. We moved from some sad little 4 top, no offense but I could barely squeeze around it!! 🤣🤣🤣, to a LOVELY corner booth for our comfort!! Tapas 177 is such an incredible restaurant in every single way from food to drinks to service to the vibe. This review is about catering!! We worked with Chris Z who is an absolutely phenomenal person. Chris helped us pick out our menu and coordinated everything with us — all the way down to mentioning changes in texture from our usual restaurant experience to general effects of transport/time! Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Even better, it was DELICIOUS and EVERYONE was extremely happy with the options!!! One thing Tapas 177 does exceptionally well is dietary restrictions. They’re very clear about risks with shared fryers but also take great care to label things. The variety on the menu allowed for us to cater gluten free and vegan without settling for things we weren’t interested in. Variety!!! So sorry to my future children but eating a mountain of Tapas 177 spring rolls with my wife on our wedding day is impossible to top. Thank y’all so much!!!!!

Truffle Mac and cheese along with a white chocolate almond cake (gluten free) was amazing. Most of their menu is gluten free, but would have enjoyed if there were more vegetarian options. Overall, great ambience and hospitality!

This place has been on my local restaurants to try for awhile now. It did not disappoint. I went with a couple of my girlfriends, one of which is gluten free. This place was perfect because they have several gluten free and also vegan options for anyone looking for those dietary choices. I started off with the duck wings, which were so much larger than I expected, perfectly crunchy with a somewhat sweet sauce (reminded me of country sweet sauce) which really married the flavors. I chose to have the gnocchi with peas, large thick pieces of fresh pancetta, mushrooms, in a light cream sauce with parmigiana shavings. I needed to add some more seasoning and parmigiana, but ultimately it was good considering it was listed as gluten free. This place is worth a try. It is perfect to go with friends, a romantic dinner, or also great for double dates.

Writing my review after 2 years I visited this place last time in Sep 2021 while visiting Rochester from Dallas, TX. We really liked the food and the staff the family is really accommodating. We asked for Gluten Free items as well. I will definitely be visiting on my next visit to Rochester, NY.

I used to have the most amazing experiences here, never had any issues. However I went here for Valentine’s Day and my pasta definitely tasted like regular pasta (if you know, you know). I asked the waitress to check with the cook and since we were sitting right by the kitchen, we saw the chef get mad because they had just closed the kitchen and he didn’t want to make a new meal and said to “just tell her it’s gluten free”. I brought this up to management with no response, so I won’t be returning here sadly.

Good Italian restaurant with a great selection of items on the menu. The prices are reasonable and the food is plentiful. Our server was very nice and refilled our drinks, ice tea, without being told. They also have gluten free upon request.

In town for a long weekend and found this place. I had a gluten free personal veggie pizza with dairy free cheese, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The fries were crispy and so good. My kids got meatball subs and an order of cinnamon sticks. They had something for everyone, a great spot to have lunch.

Tried their Weds Dinner Buffet. Everything was fresh and there was a good variety of dishes. I appreciate that each dish was labeled, including information for vegan and gluten. Service was attentive. I would have liked a dish or two with a bit more heat (spice, not temperature). It may well have been the best Indian food I've had in the Rochester area. I look forward to going back and ordering some hotter dishes from the menu.

We had a table of 7. We all git comfortably and could hear the conversation across the table. They have a full specialty drink, beer and wine menu. The food menu varied from vegetarian, meat, appetizers, and gluten free. I had a delicious boiled haddock. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

We got our wedding cake from Caramel, and we're so happy we did! Caramel is a pleasure to work with, and we appreciated their timely communication and attention to detail. They also assisted us with identifying some vegan and gluten free desserts to help us accommodate all our guests. It's been a few months since the wedding, and our guests are still talking about how delicious the cake was!

My wife and I have enjoyed Hose 22 several times recently. Nice casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food options. My wife is a celiac, and although they can not guarantee cross contamination, the servers have tried hard to accommodate her when we dine here. Love the happy hour 22 oz. Great place to eat dinner. Great food. The scallops were delicious. And they have very yummy gluten free rolls to eat! This is the first restaurant I've been to that has offered GF rolls. Usually, I'm drooling over my husband's bread while waiting for our appetizer. Very polite and attentive service.

This was an incredible experience at two and four persons. The drink menu is spectacular, the board game selection is small yet solid, and the food is great. I'm not a video gamer, but there's multiple consoles. They have a variety of allergy options, and the gluten free options were delicious!

We have been here many times with great experiences, today was particularly nice though. With a new celiac diagnosis in our house I was very nervous ordering the gluten free pizza and I believe called back three times with questions and requests. I wish I had the young lady’s name who was so helpful and kind. The pizza came out great and there were no reactions for the allergic family member. They said it was the best pizza they ever had! (6 year old- so take that for what it’s worth😄) we got subs and they were delicious.

They mixed up my gluten free and regular buns, when I called to confirm the woman who answered told me she entered the order right and if the kitchen mixed it up it wasn't her fault. Great, when asked to help find the difference, she offered little reassurance for someone who is gluten free and hung up on me.

Terrific new American food. Loved the food, and an amazing, extensive, and very well made cocktail list. Entrees are intended to be consumed family style. Just delicious, were able to handle gluten allergies as well. Crowded, loud, active. Good wine list, although we didn't explore it because the cocktails were so interesting. Highly recommend.
