I will try again cause I've heard really great things. Unfortunately today's experience was not positive. 45 min to get water, 1 hr 10 to get food. 3 tables on patio, all of us several times had wrong food brought out and taken away. My lunch guest was celiac and did get hit with gluten. Chicken sandwiches were cold and not good. Must say the fries were absolutely amazing.
With a diverse menu that caters to various diets, this spot offers flavorful dishes in a lively atmosphere, though the entrance can be drafty.

We started with the gluten free Imperial rolls, which serve two. They were really flavourful! My partner had the Wok-Fried Noodle Bowl with Prawns. He described it as "yummy" and ate it all. I had Plant-Based Pho, which was gluten-free. The broth had good flavour, a little zip, with lots of mushrooms and tons of noodles (which I couldn't finish.) The side sprouts were fresh and crispy. The service was pleasant and the food came quite quickly. Our only complaint would be the front door was propped open (and we were across from it) for about 15 minutes in 12 degree weather. After they decided to close the patio, clean it up, and shut the front door, it was fine.
This place offers a vibrant atmosphere with a visible fire pizza oven and a diverse menu that keeps diners coming back for more.

Celiac safe & gluten-free options!!! Had an amazing breakfast special this morning with eggs, Swiss, sausage, mushrooms, hash browns, and gluten free toast (done in a dedicated gf toaster). Thanks for a great and safe Celiac dining out experience 🙏
A must-visit for unique eats and a vibrant atmosphere, with plenty to choose from and a cozy vibe perfect for families.

We shared the Apple Pie Pancakes and Chorizo Benny on cornbread, incredible! Husband is celiac so appreciated all the GF options. Came from out of town and will 100% be returning!
NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY.
My partner ordered gluten free food and was fed gluten via an unclean fryer. If your fryer has gluten and non glutenous stuff in it without separate oil, it is not gluten free. I see that this complaint has been made several times over several years, I think it is clear you don't care. The server was very nice!
Best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Coffee infused ice cubes is an amazing touch and they had great gluten-free options as well as delicious food. The patio area is very cute as well!
A must-visit for families, this vibrant spot impresses with its unique decor, generous portions, and a menu packed with delicious variety.

It was so good we came here two days in a row! The best Mac and cheese I have ever tasted!!! As well as the menu being super kid friendly and extremely delicious. There was always parking even when it was packed! Everyone that works here is super friendly and how they decorate the place is just beautifly unique! There are so many options for gluten free and vegan! Great place for a family breakfast. And there are so many speadables and so many options. My sister likes how they give you such a great portion of the speadables. Only problem I had was that the food was so good that I couldn't not try to eat it all!!! I recommend so much best diner I've ever been too!!!
Incredible place with unique ginger cauliflower wings and a fulfilling Soul Bowl that everyone raves about—totally worth a visit!

As someone with Celiac disease, they accommodated me beautifully. The fryer is kept gluten free, so I tried the ginger "beef" cauliflower wings which were..... literally life changingly delicious. And for my main I got the Soul Bowl, which was absolutely fulfilling and satisfying. I highly recommend this place to anyone (veggie, gluten free or not). I will definitely be going back again when in town!!

What a hidden gem! We visited for Sunday brunch, and were delighted by their non-alcoholic cocktail selection. Everything was well thought out and executed. We enjoyed a fancy fry-up and a potato bowl. Both dishes were gluten-free and delicious. Our server Nicole (I hope I spelled that correctly!) was welcoming and attentive. I would return in a heart beat. Thank you!

My wife and I asked for drinks not on the menu - a cortado and flat white - and our barista made them to perfection. Excellent selection of gluten free baking - and very tasty. I’d highly recommend!
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The chicken broth was very bland. I ordered extra squash for $3.25 and it only came with the tiniest piece. The kombucha was amazing! Dessert was vegan, gluten free, and 10/10 delicious. Overall an okay experience but I wouldn't rush to go back.
We had a fabulous dining experience.
We had a celiac dining with us and they were able to enjoy most items on the menu.
Service was great.
Every time we are in Nelson we always come for a great meal.
Nice heritage lounge with small, shady patio (where we sat). I really loved the gluten free capicolla pizza, single was enough appie for four light eaters. The chai lemonade spike with gold tequila was refreshing and original. Just lovely place.
My daughter has celiac disease and the food service fully met her needs and more. The waiter was exceptional, as well as the chef. The food was delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend eating at the Main Street dinner (especially if you are celiac)
Vegan? Gluten Free? No problem. They made everything for us according to our specifications! Great food wonderful service and amazing location! We will visit here again!
Excellent! We had a birthday party of 5 and were able to get a reservation. And we're glad we did! Many selections to choose from, including gluten free options which was needed for two of our party. Fair pricing, great food and they brought out a delicious dessert treat for the birthday girl. Great service too. We drove 125km to get here and we'll be back for sure.
A consistent spot with standout mocktails and unique options, perfect for those seeking variety and a good time.

I come to Broken Hill each time I visit Nelson. The restaurant remains consistent over the years and I really appreciate that. The Hot Mess (brisket sandwich) is so good I have to order it almost every time. The mocktails are just as good as the cocktails. Service is a 12/10. I don't eat gluten and my partner doesn't eat dairy and there is always plenty of options for us <3
With a chill vibe and plenty of books and records to explore, this spot is a go-to for breakfast lovers who appreciate variety.

We absolutely loved this place. We came for breakfast three out of fours days (and regretted the one day we didn’t come!), everything was wonderful. Very chill vibe, great food, and tons of books and records to browse when you’re done :) They also have gluten free alternatives for pretty much anything on the menu - gf waffles and sandwich pictured here. Highly recommend!
For people who are Celiac it is not a Gluten Free kitchen, everything is done in the same fryer. Food is good but!! The menu need to specify it’s not gluten-free it is gluten friendly!!! I was so excited see all the GF options and have the GF food as it says on the menu but when I showed up and asked they said “it is not a gluten free kitchen” which is very upsetting. For peoples health the menu should say somewhere on it or say on the website it is not a gluten free kitchen and only gluten friendly, only one fryer.
