My friend and I were in the neighborhood on a weekend so we planned to eat here for lunch. I'd eaten here before, but my friend hadn't. I (Celiac disease) had the Penny Burrito in a bowl with cheese and loved it, especially the cumin potatoes. My friend (vegan) had breakfast tacos and was happy to have a good tofu scramble. We'd definitely come here again.

LOVED the food here! I am celiac and they were able to really cater to gluten free options. I got the beef taco bowl with the dirty rice and it was delicious!! I also didn't get sick so I would reccomend this place to other celiacs. Our server was really lovely and friendly, and she helped to explain the menu and how different items could be altered for me. I didn't get her name, but she is from Germany and I'd love for The Taco Club to know what an excellent job she does! Highly recommend!!

We LOVED the food! Gluten free menu,, handmade blue corn tortillas, and the flavor was fantastic! When we come back to visit Vancouver this is one of the restaurants we will return to. Thank you for the fabulous and high quality food!

Food was really good, told waitress I liked it spicy and she made sure to bring out a whole bunch of hot sauces! Had the fish tacos made gluten free with corn tacos and house salad. Meal was amazing, and THAT SALAD DRESSING- OMG! Partner had the Chipotle dinner, he really enjoyed it! Service was really good, waitress really knew all the dishes when we had questions and was very friendly. Will be back again soon!

Excellent servers, so helpful and friendly! Our daughter has Celiac and enjoyed the steak and chicken fajitas - they were very accommodating of her allergy and said that almost all of their menu can be gluten free! Everything was delicious!

El Taquero recently catered our wedding. They were absolutely incredible in all aspects. They had an exceptional team during the lead up to the event. On the day of they were extremely organized, personable with our guests, and the food was AMAZING! They managed allergies and took great care with my celiac disease. Just finished our meal at Chilango. Ella, our server, was a delight and was quick to answer our questions. The food was amazing and came out so quickly! We overindulged as the menu looked so good that it was hard to pick. We had the burrito bowl, divorced enchiladas, Aztec soup, pork belly tacos and everything was amazing! The horchata and churros were delicious as well. Tons of gluten free options for our celiac friend too which was nice. We’ll be back. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!

We came around lunch and had a great experience. Our server was wonderful — super friendly, great with the kids, and really took the time to make us feel welcome. They were also very knowledgeable and accommodating about celiac, offering plenty of gluten-free options without any hesitation. Celiac Safe meal from Tacofino. I had the Grilled Chicken Burrito Bowl w/ corn tortillas on the side. Such a filling meal! The wait was about 20mins, so make sure you order with the estimation of waiting for food ☺️☺️ amazing and would come back again!

One of my all-time favorite spots. Obviously, nothing beats the original Tacofino up in Tofino—but during high season, the lines can be wild. So we opted for the city version in Victoria yesterday, and it totally delivered! They were super accommodating with dietary needs—my friend is both dairy- and gluten-free, and they had no problem whipping up a bowl for her. Our food came out fast and piping hot. What I love most about Tacofino is the explosion of flavor in every bite. Fresh, bold, and seriously satisfying. If you’re visiting Victoria, this place is an absolute must.

Affordable, fast, and pretty healthy. I would not consider this authentic mexican food, but the food quality is solid for a subway-style chain. They have a QR code displayed for the allergens menu, which is very convenient for someone with a gluten allergy like me. The service was very good when I visited. Classic burrito chain restaurant atmosphere.

I booked Hugo’s catering for an event and got a lot of positive feedback from my guests. The taco buffet had a good selection of fillings and toppings, the portions were good and the food tasted fresh. Hugo’s offers dairy free, gluten free and vegetarian options, so everyone’s dietary needs were considered. The delivery was on time and everything was warm and ready to eat. I also added a margarita kit and churros for dessert- both were a hit. I would recommend for your event!

Today I had a gluten-friendly quesadilla. Not good. It was greasy, falling apart and missing ingredients. ( I ordered online) The key ingredient is CHEESE!! How can you leave it out?? It's what holds it together. Yikes. I've had a few gluten friendly burritos from this location and they were ok but not something I would order again from here. First time trying the gluten-friendly quesadilla. It was zero stars. I will not be returning. Absolute fail.

can cater for coeliac / celiacs! their soft shell tacos are gluten free. the person who served me was knowledgeable about cross contact risk - they can heat up the tortillas in the microwave to avoid the grill where gluten ingredients are used, and know to change their gloves. I had the chicken tacos which were really tasty
