Almost unbelievably delicious food, and such a wonderful surprise to find such a restaurant in Eastbourne! I was so grateful to be able to eat allergen-free in such an intimate little place, so close to the sea and my hotel: Tim and Kitty were solicitous and friendly hosts, and what they prepared was out of this world good! I sort of hope it doesn't become too popular (though it should) because it is so cosy and cute. My nut roast and veggies, and the cheesecake (gluten-free as well as vegan) were so very flavourful, just up my street, and the quantities were very generous for the prices they were. We had a fab u lous lunch here, and in the heat of the moment, with granddaughter and great granddaughter I read the gluten free options and ordered, reading gluten free but omitting to mention it. Was promptly served two pizzas 1 of which was clearly not gluten free, I apologised and said I couldn't eat it, no problem 10 minitues was tucking into gluten free pizza, when the bill came they had not charged us for my mistake and said these things happen. A big thank you to you all. You never once made me feel stupid although I was mortified.

Very fresh and well presented Oysters with a choice of accompaniments - ended up staying for longer than anticipated and ordering more food which didn’t disappoint!
