Love, love, love this place! Been coming for however long they've been here... over 20 years and I still travel from Hampshire for their yummy food.
Tiny kitchen, but talented chefs that create amazing, tasty, scrumptious food. Large portions, fresh and very tasty. Vegetarian, vegan and wheat/gluten free catered for.
Healthy eating, lovely staff, and of course the lovely owner Ritchie. Personally greets us all and treats us like royalty.

A very nice and pleasant place to eat. We went with a celiac person and there was a special gluten free menu.
The waiters are very friendly and attentive.
We left very happy 🤗☺️
Excellent catering for a small party of 20! It was very easy to order, including with dietary requirements for vegans and celiac. Perfect spread with leftovers for all. Could not recommend enough! Thank you Tal and Shay!

We’ve always enjoyed coming to this Ocean Basket, however today we felt they truly outdid themselves.
We were a large group, had 2 young kids with us, of which one has coeliac (gluten allergy), plus a dog. Our server was outstanding. She took the time to answer questions about gluten contents, explained there was a separate chip fryer, and was very attentive & friendly.
Everyone loved their food. We left with big smiles, grateful for the accommodating kitchen, and excellent service. Can’t wait to come back.
Get ready for a cozy spot where you can enjoy delicious pizza with a welcoming vibe and even a dog-friendly patio!

Fantastic fish & chips with great gluten-free options! We’ve come back several times and had the gluten-free cod and plaice (available Wednesdays and Thursdays, note only fish can be done gf), along with chips, curry sauce, and gravy—all are gluten-free too and absolutely delicious. The batter was really crisp compared to other gf fish & chips we’ve tried, and the mushy peas were some of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend!

I have only provided for stars for atmosphere, as on this visit the pub seemed a little quieter than usual, however Mike and the team were ready to welcome us as I had reserved a table in my brother's name so he could treat Mum to a nice meal out for her birthday. Staff were understanding and accommodating to our needs, not only due to my eating/drinking regime, but also being in the company of my new niece. Yes, there are baby changing facilities available here. Dog friendly. Great selection of food, starters, mains, small plates, desserts, beers/lagers and wines as well as low/non alcoholic and gluten free beverages. Outdoor seating available at the front of the house as well as in the well kept pub garden and patio to the side and rear. This is definitely a hidden gem for Kingston and South West London and definitely worth a visit, no matter the weather. If Mike and the Team can accommodate for your needs, they will.
The people are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The person I went with is gluten-free. And they were so helpful. I will definitely be back.

We discovered this hidden gem early Sunday afternoon when there were no other customers around.
Strangely, I had a feeling that this restaurant must be very good, so we decided to pop in and ask about gluten-free options. They offered gluten-free pizza and pasta, so we decided to give it a try.
The bottom line is that we both fell in love with their pizza! The dessert, pistachio and coconut ice cream, was a delightful surprise—I never would have imagined that coconut and pistachio could go so well together. The Irish coffee was truly divine, and the owner and his wife were lovely. They created such a friendly atmosphere. Later on, we met other customers who even invited us to their nearby home.
We would definitely go back again and again—to try their pasta and other dishes next time!
Charming spot in a converted venue near Kingston station, offering a great atmosphere and plenty of delicious options to enjoy.

Great BBQ food, in what appears to have been an old venue / converted into a restaurant. I had seen signs in Kingston and was eager to pay a visit.
Based close to Kingston station with a few car parks near by. There are also good bus routes to get to the venue. There was a great atmosphere and very helpful staff who were able to make me feel at ease with my Gluten Allergy. There were plenty of options I could choose from.
I went for the brisket with a side of fries and slaw. The brisket came with gravy which was tasty but slightly unusual. If I were to go again I would have chosen different sides to go with the brisket. But tasted great and at a reasonable price. Worth a visit if you are in Kingston.

Can’t believe we didn’t come sooner! This place has all you could want from an Italian restaurant- charming staff, good music/vibes, quick service and authentic food. Everything was delicious (e.g., bolognese, carbonara) and homemade - the panna cotta was the best I have ever had. Really appreciated the gluten free pasta which you couldn’t even tell was any different. The manager, who also served us, was incredibly attentive and kind and you can tell much pride is taken in this establishment. This is definitely our new fav local spot and needless to say I highly recommend.
Booked a birthday meal for 3 people on Monday Night while booking the table on website it said they have Mezza Mondays so I booked that too at the Kingston Branch. I also informed that one guest was gluten free.
We arrived at 6.30pm started to order our Mezza Monday deal only to be told they have this anymore I booked the night before on their website. After a long conversation with the manager he said he would do the Mezza deal not a good start to our evening . We ordered main meals and drinks too . Also explained that one guest was gluten free . Our drinks came but one was missing had to ask three times over 20 minutes before drink was delivered to table. We had our starters then had to ask for our main meals and clear our tables. We waited till 8.30pm still no main meal so we got up spoke to manager and said we could not wait any longer and that we very disappointed as if had spoilt a birthday meal out . The manager did agree for us to not pay our bill but this really wasn’t that point I’m sorry to say we will not be returning to this Kingston branch anymore .
