The manager of this restaurant does a phenomenal job with customers. Their pizza is delicious and they offer great gluten-free crust. I’m a fan of the build-your-own salads. There are multiple options for just about anyone (including kids) and any diet (gluten free, vegan, keto, and many others). I frequent this restaurant often and love coming back.
This spot offers a cozy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating, and the pizza experience is a definite highlight worth checking out!

For chain pizza it's one of my favorites. The pretzels are amazing and they have a really good gluten free option for my wife. Never disappointed at Tuscaloosa's mellow mushroom
Great option for those that are gluten-free and on a budget. Build-your own options are great, as well as the pre-made available items. Parking is tough, but there are options around the back. Not a great place for parties over 6 or 8.
Enjoy a mouthwatering experience with amazing meat options and a helpful staff ready to assist you in navigating the menu.

SO SO GOOD!! My family all has a gluten allergy including my celiacs for some of us. The food was delicious! It would be nice if they had gf bread especially for those biscuits they bring out but everything we ate was very good! The waitress helped me figure out how to order from the kids menu since nothing was gf. Meat was all delicious. I got brisket, husband got smoked wings, one kid got smoked turkey and others got the bbq chicken.
My boyfriend and I order Taziki's very often and they always provide exceptional quality and amazing service! I was extremely impressed when they checked to see if I had a gluten allergy (since I checked the "no pita" option). They pay great attention to detail!
Very accommodating of my gluten allergy. Friendly staff. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals of salmon and filet mignon. And the creme brulee dessert was very yummy.
With an impressive variety, quality service, and even free ice cream, this spot is a must-visit for a tasty experience!

I was impressed that after the lunch rush, a worker came along to change out the utensils in every salad bar item! Nice variety of choices. My husband had no difficulty in eating gluten-free. My adult daughter gave the tomato-basil soup a B+. And you can't beat the free ice cream!
With tons of veggie options and a vibe perfect for budget-friendly nights, this spot is a go-to for weekly hangouts!

The establishment boasts a chic, upscale atmosphere with outdoor seating available, making it a potentially perfect spot for dinner or dessert. The restaurant is known for its seafood, sushi, and gluten-free options, promising an appealing dining experience for a variety of tastes.
The service was commendable; the staff was patient and provided excellent recommendations, which I greatly appreciated. However, parking was a bit of a challenge due to the restaurant's popular location, which is something to keep in mind if you're planning a visit.
A cozy spot known for its quick service and accommodating vibe, perfect for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere.

Great coffee and great staff. I am celiac and ordered a byob and didn’t realize it included granola. When I got my food I told the staff I didn’t order granola and that I am celiac and they quickly offered to remake it for me. As someone with this disease I greatly appreciate companies that understand how serious it is for me and they were so fast and friendly to accommodate! I will be back for sure!
A spot with delicious offerings and a strong grasp of dietary needs, making it a go-to for many.

I am celiac so it is it extremely difficult to find restaurants who can manage my food allergy. I have ordered this for pick-up and got the eggs Benedict (without the English muffin) and it is absolutely delicious! I will continue to be a customer as I know this food is safe for me to eat without any reaction. They have a good understanding of celiac/ gluten allergies.
Enjoy a vibrant spot known for its awesome variety and standout classic burger that keeps everyone coming back for more.

After a long day of traveling and moving our daughter into her new apartment, we were hungry and tired. We decided to eat at Metro Diner on Sunday evening as they had wheat-free options that my daughter could eat as well as vegetarian options for her friend. We arrived at 7:25, and they close at 8:00. There were just 2-3 other tables with people there, and they were not at all busy. We were told that they'd go ahead and seat us, but next time, if we were to arrive so late, then we should order ahead. It was clear they weren't happy to serve us at that time, so we just left. If a restaurant isn't accepting new customers during business hours, they should just lock their doors. This was especially frustrating since it's difficult to find a restaurant that has options to eat gluten-free (other than always having a salad). It can be pretty limiting for those who can't eat wheat. We thought we'd found a place that could accommodate us, but, sadly, they were not at all interested in serving us.

I have to eat gluten free, so it is very difficult to find a place that has good gluten free options. I ordered the BBQ and potato cakes. It was very nicely played and tasted fabulous! Will definitely be back.

Cozy up to a wonderfully comfy window bench seat and take in the view of passersby while the owner of this establishment warms you up with her friendly demeanor & smile mailing you feel.like you're a guest in her home. Meanwhile, your veganish vittles are being
artfully composed in the kitchen using some surprisingly vegan ingredients.
The owner has really done her homework on the best dairy, gluten & meat free options while still offering a few meats for those who aren't ready for the plant based plunge! I don't know how she uses such high quality ingredients for the prices she charges.
P.S. Whatever you do, don't order the Strawberry Smoothie. It's the yummiest I have EVER and I don't want you to order them all !
Love eating here! The Kickin' Kay Lynne is my favorite with the grape salad! It has never made me sick because both of these are gluten free, and if you ask they'll leave the crackers and cookie off your platter. I've always gotten my food quickly here and it's always been delicious!
Really love that I can get a sandwich on gluten free bread here! Have never been sick after eating here! The sweet tea is really good too! Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they got rid of baked lays chips which were gluten free and my favorite side.

Unique vibe - it's in converted church - sets this restaurant and bar apart. High ceilings, sound-absorbing drapes, mood lighting, upholstered booths, eclectic decor with royal and art deco flourishes. For those who remember 301 in Tuscaloosa, it's a bit of that, only more cavernous. Cute back patio with a lawn and a small stage, in addition to a performance stage in the main indoor dining area. Massive screen above the bar for watching the big game. Whether this place is good for a classy date night or an over-decorated sports bar depends on how often that screen gets used.
The tapas style small dishes provide variety and accommodates vegetarian and gluten free diets. Two of us split the bacon wrapped dates, street corn dip, fried cauliflower, croquettes, and sausage stuffed mushrooms. Very good but not top-tier elite cuisine. Terrific cocktails, not outrageously expensive. Good location that's set back from crowded downtown but not too remote. Definitely worth a try!
