First time here 2.15.2025. Greeted by our server, Paige. She was good - did important things like keeping the water filled and involving Brandi the manager when we mentioned my wife had severe gluten allergy/must eat gluten free. The food and the atmosphere (sitting on the water with a nice breeze, waves crashing, and beautiful design aesthetics at the restaurant), literally couldn't have been better. For that I kind of understand why the food takes a while to come out (we were there about 30 mins before we received our apps) - it's an experience and you don't want to rush. At least I hope that is why it took so long. :) The price of the meal was expected since we had lobster, apps, crab cakes, and the wonderful location. We paid about $65/pp without alcohol and dessert. We will be back.

The food tasted great but it was supposed to be gluten free and wasn’t. We had an extensive GF conversation with the lady who took our order. They were not busy. We even confirmed once the food was ready that the onion rings were indeed the GF ones. Disappointing. My daughter with celiac got violently ill. It was more than a cross contamination issue.

Good coffee. I eat shrimp and grits everywhere it's served, but this was one of the best I've ever had! My wife had to confirm her pancakes were gluten-free because they were so good.

En excellent experience at this place. The food was full of flavor. Really friendly staff. Alex was amazing! She was very knowledgeable on the ingredients and the description of the food combinations. They also have really tasty smoothies. The restaurant was so clean and had a really cool color scheme. I recommend this place for those who need to eat gluten free but also for everyone else because this place is cool and tasty!

What an amazing find !! The burgers are absolutely delicious ! The menu is loaded with different types of burgers, including gluten free and vegan options. There are also other non burger options that are quite good. I highly recommend S.O.B. Burgers !!

Do not order the the smoked salmon dishes and actually expect to get smoked salmon, it is Regular salmon baked. My husband ordered gluten-free pancakes and was served pancakes with gluten, which thankfully he is not celiac however he experienced terrible side effects.

AMAZING gluten free pancake. They are huge and so flavorful, and you can get chocolate chips or blueberries in them! They have gluten free waffles as well.

We loved Harris! He was the best, knowledgeable, sweetest server. The brewery was great, and the food super tastey. We definitely recommend this place, ONLY necessary improvement - please please please create a few gluten free AND dairy free options on your menu. People with these allergies need both together.

Excellent authentic German food! We’re always searching for German restaurants and this one is among the best! Fresh and tender Goulash and Sauerbraten with Roht Kohl and Spätlzle also excellent. Gluten free options are AMAZING and prepared in a separate pan to guarantee no issues.

We had a great brunch at The Breakfast Company! Our server was wonderful, great at recommending some dishes and so friendly. He was attentive and made sure we really enjoyed our food. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, and homemade. They were very knowledgable about gluten friendly options as well. Baked goods were plentiful when we sat down and by the time we left, the good stuff was almost gone! Nice family business that I highly recommend. Really delicious chai latte too!

Carrabba's Italian Grill is always a great place for dinner. The waiter was more than accommodating and was happy to suggest a plate or a substitution to accommodate my gluten allergy and vegan preference. My parents were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I personally would prefer to see a few more gluten free and vegan options. However the menu shall change or stay the same, I will always happily visit Carrabba's Italian Grill.

Not at all what I expected. But there was something for everyone on the menu, including my kid, my own picky eating habits, my daughter and bf who went to school for culinary and appreciate high quality and fancy food, as well as my gluten free grandmother. Everyone left very happy and satisfied, which is hard to do with a mixed group such as ours. Staff was very friendly and attentive too.

The food was great. My mom and I had the Florida Cobb Salad with salmon. My dad had the cod. The only problem I had with the salad is that there was an awful lot of iceberg lettuce. I was hoping for a nice green salad. Otherwise, the portion was perfect, the piece of fish was large, the dressing was enough and delicious, and the topping were the right amount. The cod looked amazing. Dad said it was good. Another note - they have a gluten free menu. I'd definitely go back.

I had the opportunity to meet Steven and Chris the other morning when they opened the doors to explain the gluten free and vegan options for my daughter before the store even opened. I couldn’t find a place to eat on my last night in town, and this was recommended on a several year old Reddit thread (as all good things are.) I have NO notes. The host handled my complete butchering of the English language with grace, the server/bartender I had was an absolute sweetheart, and the woman who came out to talk to me about my gluten sensitivity (manager? owner?) was so passionate about the changes the restaurant has made; I’m blown away by the quality staff here! The food and drink is nothing to scoff at either. The drinks were perfectly made and came out quickly and presented well. They batter in rice flour, which is so crunchy and complimented the green tomatoes well. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked, and even I, an undisciplined goat cheese disliker, branched out and really enjoyed the light tang of the raspberry goat cheese! While I live too far away to go here often, this restaurant has given me an experience I’ve yet to find most other places.

Poppo’s on University is a favorite spot for fresh tacos, bowls and burritos for my husband and me. So I was excited to see they offer catering and planned a surprise work lunch for 20 folks for my husband’s birthday in Downtown Sarasota. I spoke with managers Summer and Bryson on a couple of occasions as they helped me figure out the best options for our crowd. They accommodated our dietary requests (gluten free & vegetarian) with assurance. Great communication every time! Friendly & helpful over the phone, just like every time we’ve been there in person, too. We love their whole team. I also really appreciated the call in advance of delivery & upon arrival so we could coordinate the set-up. Super pleased that they include everything you need to keep the food fresh, hot and easily served, with bowls, silverware and serving utensils, too. Everyone raved about their lunch and knew why it was the birthday guy’s favorite. Could not have had a better experience. Awesome birthday lunch, thanks again!

My family recently moved into town and we went looking for a place to eat. We found a great restaurant with wonderful staff especially our waitress Sierra S. who was a great help in telling us all the specials and what she enjoyed on the menu. There wasn't anything we ordered that the table didn't enjoy. They also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. My family plans to come back!

Wife has Celiac, so traveling to Fla. we need to plan ahead. Saw the reviews and decided to try, what a great choice! Place a phone order, picked up in exactly 15 minutes. Service was outstanding and pizza (both gluten free and traditional) were some of the best we have had! Highly recommended.

The food is just BAD. Options for gluten free for BASIC items like rice…RICE… are very limited. They literally use wheat flour in their rice because it comes prepackaged and they can’t adjust the recipe. This means they aren’t cooking in the restaurant. Even the steak, shrimp cocktail and rice bowls weren’t gluten free. In the end I ordered a salad which made me sick because the lettuce was wilted and old. I should’ve known better and not eaten it, but after the rude waitress told me no on everyitem on the menu I was so hungry I ate the salad anyways. Within an hour I had the worst abdominal cramps so no doubt it was the lettuce. All I can say is save your money and buy a bag of lettuce at the store. You’ll be better off.

Delicious experience. It was our first time there, we got complimentary hush puppies for being first time visitors the service was very nice. The small bit menu was still a good portion size. Had the; make your own oyster, grouper, flounder (fried and lightly blackened) They do have a gluten free menu

First time diners, my mom and I popped in for lunch after some errands. It was excellent! Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and efficient, but their vibe wasn’t rushing us at all. Just very attentive and checked back on us a couple times as well. We both had the two favorites, one meal options. The broccoli cheddar soup and the Monterey club were delicious. It was a perfect amount of food. Also, they have gluten-free bread! I have been wanting to try this spot and it did not disappoint! I’ll definitely be back! Thank you all for being so kind.

Delicious Gluten Free pizza but alas not one Gluten Free beer even though they must have upwards of a hundred types of beer. You'd think they could find room for one 6 pack of GF beer in the back of a fridge! Wasn't always like this. They used to have Stone Delicious. I won't be back to this location again.

Great customer service. I had the cold brew lemonade which was very yummy. I also got the Greek salad with gyro mean. The gyro meat was phenomenal. They have some gluten free options I hope they expand more with that!

I was greeted at door immediately, I asked about restaurant and this server really knew her allergy choices and told me this restaurant is family owned and they have three stores. Ordered gluten free with pepperoni, extra sauce and lite cheese. You can’t get much thinner than this little crisp BUT the flavors were definitely there! So good! If you’re looking for doughy GF crust—this isn’t it. But I was still very impressed despite! Will be trying this place again.

I have a gluten intolerance and I felt very confident that I would not experience cross contamination eating here. These days that is getting more rare. The food was fantastic. It was extremely great valued and the entire family was pleased with their pizza or pasta dishes. Also everyone said the complimentary garlic knots were extremely good. If we come back to Bradenton we will revisit.
